An enjoyable and relaxing video as always Catherine. Walks following the water always make for a fab trail. Nice shot of the plane taking off too. As a bit of a plane geek, I could have sat and watched them all day. 🙂
A lovely relaxed hike following this beautiful river Catherine. So much to enjoy! I was particulary impressed with the clear water and the shot of an eel👌Atb Anthony👍👍
A nice film, as always, of what looks like a lovely walk. Having recently finished the North downs way, the next walk for me will be the St. Swithuns way to complete the old pilgrims route. Hopefully I'll find a couple of trees about halfway along to hang a hammock. Fantastic channel btw, always great content.👌
It was a great walk, with lots to see. Quite challenging at times, but well worth it. I preferred the Kent half to Surrey, as it was a lot quieter. At times it could be frustrating with what seemed to be some avoidable descents. The first glimpse of the sea was pretty special after being inland for so long, and the stretch between Folkstone and Dover was fantastic. 👌
Loved it Catherine. Amazing to get that shot of (looked like) an eel !!! Well done. And the footage of the swan north of Winchester just looked so majestic. My brother has done the Santiago de Compostela and I was unaware there is an 'English Way' - and just up the road from me. I clearly need to do a bit of research !!! Thank you very much for this 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, filled in some local knowledge gaps for me. I think the English Camino is intended to lead into the Santiago trail for those wanting an even longer walk! Yes an eel, first time I've ever seen one in the Itchen.
Wow really amazing and beautiful video🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 nice shearing👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 like it❤❤❤❤❤

Agree about the planes - although I began to wonder what the authorities would make of a lady lurking in the bushes filming the aircraft!
Some really nice scenery, a beautiful and atmospheric journey.
Thanks.
Very pleasant as usual,
so peaceful, thanks for sharing this walk
Glad you enjoyed it.

There was actually quite a lot of wildlife - about one quarter of which I caught on film!

Thanks. I came across the St Swithuns Way occasionally on this walk. How did you find the North Downs Way?
