Why is The week before so good!!! Best FNaF media ever. Also why do we know more about Ralph now than any other human character in the entire franchise?
@@RFDN0 It’s funny though because he’s been around since the beginning and we JUST got his name along with more characterization than anyone else to my knowledge.
That's make sense, even with Charlie's death, she must've known William (obv) so he could've used that line "it's me" to try and show familiarity to drop her guard then kill her
Do think or believe that they are saying “it’s me” whether it’s like telling an adult that either the adult killed them of who they think is their killer by saying Hey, it’s me, you killed me” or that they are like saying to an adult like “Hey, it’s me, I am still here.”
Shoutout to Ralph oh sorry my mistake uhhh Scott for giving us a book that isn’t a bitch to figure out if it’s actually canon to the main timeline or not
@@rickitysplitz7035 He's saying that he's glad it's actually easy to tell this works in the timeline instead of something like the Fazbear Frights stories where we're STILL arguing about if some of them are canon after the series ended and an entire new one started
Could the animatronics saying "It's Me." be the kids possessing the animatronics letting the night-gaurd (whom they believe is William) alerting him to their presence? I.E: "Its me/us, that innocent child you unalived; I'm/we're still here." Edit: Also, thanks for the mini shout out, Rye!☝️🥸💙
There is so much good lore in this book but also a lot of "That's a hell of a mystery no one thought was a mystery and didn't even really need solving, but damn if it didn't just get solved so nice work*
one of the Theories that has some credence is "being caught in a loop" Spirits tend to repeat things, without even knowing it, Ralf might alredy be dead in this book, many passages hint towards somthing like that. but loops in FNAF only get broken by an external force significantly changing something. figured id share some ideas that ive been thinking about.
My first thought was equivalent to time travel, since you need to have completed the book once to get a bonus item to then get the canon end. Ralph doesn't address that at any point like Oswald does though, so I like the idea of him being dead and time looped
There’s a weird thing if you use the master key. There isn’t one but it’s an option. If you use it,you get a weird paragraph: “A Master Key is not in this game. You are the one who just live (?) with your shame. You know what they say: Cheaters don't win but those who make the purple man grin." . Then it gives you a list of all nights and their pages and says that The Game has crashed
19:21 I feel like there is evidence to suggest that other characters say it's me in the games, like some times when foxy leaves his cove the sign changes to IT'S ME, those random hallucinations with Freddy and Bonnie in the first game show the words IT'S ME
I saw a theory on Reddit that Browen doesn't actually call Ralph, instead it's actually Golden Freddy Mimicking her to get him to stop the others for leaving, the evidence for this is that when Ralph thinks of a question that question coincidentally gets answered after he thinks that and the fact that Browen accidentally calls Bonnie Jeremy
@@Loomrex ok that clears that up, thanks had a second thought though: ralph is given the name of Susie, how are we to be sure Bronwen didn’t get something similar with Jeremy? other things are suspicious, but there may be a pattern there.
@@endernightblade1958 she's also a junior reporter, she probably researched the missing kids names, I'd wager that she can recognise them to some extent (like Ralph knowing Suzie's name), but I also fully believe she was already dead by the time she does that call (bonnie got me) and sees the animatronics as their spirits
I’m thinking that the reason why other animatronics and not just GF say “it’s me” is because they are trying to tell any adult that they are the MCI. Kinda like taking out their anger on any adult because the investigators left them to rot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The "it's me" seems like it's vengeful spirit speaking through each instances' vessels. Kinda like the mediocre melodies. Especially if the vengeful spirit is able to read minds in a spooky way?
Wait that’s good. I actually really like that idea of Cassidy barging into to the other kids suits and speaking through. I do feel there is some more significance of that saying to golden Freddy since he says it way more than the others and it’s been his pick up line for a while
@@EmotianalBrat I think of it being more creepy and malevolent. Like a possession thats like "it's me" in a taunting and aggressive tone. Like "time to run" or like the chucky doll when he makes an entrance "I'm heerreee"
@@EmotianalBrat I also SWEAR the vengeful spirit in the movie goes into the foxy suit at one point??? Like he's standing in front of the curtain and then backs into it activating foxy. It's like he takes on the golden freddy persona only when the other suit vessels are being occupied/used in that moment or something like that..
I want to point out is that there is also evidence that Ferddy did The bite of 87, page 222 "Freddy's face is inches from your head. He leans down. To wonder what it will be like living without your frontal lobe"
Honestly given the amount of "foxy has never bit kids", "everyone was warned to stay away from foxy", etc I assume the frontal lobe bit is one of Ralph's quips
I think we can kinda piece together a timeline of events For the Bite of 87. Assuming it was Withered Foxy and it happened to Jeremy and that he provoked him. At some point in the day shift, Withered Foxy just wandered into the birthday party. As he’s supposed to be in the back and not on the floor, Jeremy went over to make him go back to parts and services. Maybe Jeremy acted somewhat aggressive since this thing tried to kill him for a week and now could hurt a guest. Foxy then bit him in the forehead and Fazbear blamed his aggressive behavior for the bite but perhaps his family still sued them and had a good lawyer who put that accusation to bed
The flashlight also works on Bonnie in the vent in the book ( i thinknit ends in a death but still stuns bonnie)but the reference of "kids" is definitely a great case
First of all, thank you for the video, I can't afford all of these frickin books. SECOND! PLEASE TELL ME, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, YOU DON'T HAVE AN AUTOMATIC LITTER BOX! AND IF YOU DO, PLEASE LET IT BE A REAL LITTER ROBOT ONE! THOSE KNOCK OFFS ARE DEADLY!!!!!! I DON'T WANT YOU TO LOSE THIS DANG CAT!
@@justaperson4656 yes, the expensive ones have sensors. But, the off brand cheapo ones don't. They have cheap sensors and we have lost hundreds of feline friends to these machines
The playthrough with brownens phone could be like alone together and Ralph doesn't know he's dead, same with coming home The it's me is giving me the same vibes as Oswald forgetting his name in ITP ending, the ghosts calling out but they don't remember a name to say who Edit: Bonnie is also stalled by the flashlight in this book
@@higueraft571 i mean there isnt anything that suggests shes dead is there? Also he makes a point for her to promise to never work for fazbear entertainment.
Coppelia is QUITE a choice of a name. Coppélia is the name of a *doll* that a young village man falls in love with due to her beauty. His fiancée dresses up as the doll and pretends she’s come alive to save him from being killed by the doll’s maker. To give the shortest summary I can. That has to matter.
Also I am a hater. Dave is a stupid name for a little kid. Why is it not David or Davey? Dave is what David becomes when he's an uncle. Dave is someone in their 20's or 30's. This is like saying his name is Bob. Nobody calls a 8 year old child named Robert 'Bob', he gets called Bobby or Robbie. edited because some of y'all just refuse to understand what I was saying.

Jeremy Fitzgerald is also still hinted to be the bite of 87 victim in the book, as inputting the code 1987 into the mobile phone (as Ralph thinks of the bite of 87) plays a recording Ralph gave to Jeremy on night five of his shift, before moving to the day shift, linking the bite to Jeremy.
7:08 FNAF always does a really great job balancing horror and comedy, i love the small comedic elements that give a break from the tension and make the world of fnaf feel more lively
My cats are loving monsters, they love to be petted and shed a lot. Their fur gets matted easily and I have to brush it constantly . Thanks for this Riley ❤
All of the homages to "its me" draw to mind the old theory from fnaf 1 that "its me" was the supposed to be the phone guy stuffed in the golden Freddy suit trying to communicate with the player, but im not sure why that would be such a major element of this book
Kind of hate that im only just getting to this 14 after its posted but i very much can not wait for the up coming videos on the week before, ralph seemed like a genuine good dude, it's kind of weird in this series imo
Ideas for future interactive novels. 1. A book about the whereabouts of Henry between fnaf 2 - fnaf 6. 2. A book about the circus baby’s pizza world as well as a date and year. 3. A book where were put in the perspective of William afton during the MCI in 1985. 4. A book about the puppet and what Charlottes been up to. 5. A book about phone dude and what happened after fnaf 3. 6. A book about the in universe game studio Silver Parasol Games before the events of Help Wanted. 7. A book about glitchtrap corrupting people and building a cult like army. 8. A book about a new location as well as new animatronics. 9. A book about an investigator trying to solve the mysteries of Freddy’s. 10. A book about the afton family before the bite.
I've written a 4.7k word analysis about a single topic regarding this book (Golden Freddy). It's THAT good, and I'm so happy I got it and read it myself despite the currency conversion, which made it way more expensive for me than it should be lol Excited to see what you have to say about it, seriously
I think its important to note, is that there is one ending that is considered cannon. we need to look at events and actions outside of the cannon ending as info that should be looked at with a bit more salt. Like the its me how many times do we see "its me"" outside of the real ending and in those who is saying it. Scott even confirmed that only one is cannon so look at that route closer then most for "true cannon understanding". Basically Its more a matter of context then circumstance.
I'm so glad to hear you also think the FNAF 2 killings are unnecessary. Twice now we've got imagery of a graveyard, and both times there were only 6 tombstones. If William killed five other children, where are their graves? Are they not important enough for us to learn their names? They don't even show up in the novel trilogy either. I've been trying to find an explanation for the "save them" minigame and FNAF2's phone calls that don't involve the DCI, so I can use it in my timelime.
A reporter you say? One that might have wrote some articles that might have appeared in FNAF 1 perhaps? Hmm. It seems like everytime we get some scrape of an answer, we get about five more questions.
Foxy's sign can also say ITS ME, it seems to be more of a statement of a puppet master, or friends parroting a phrase of the group leader, or maybe part of a spirit is in all of them, idk. but THINGS ARE HAPPENING EVERYONE, DON'T PANIC
The animatronics are also called puppets a few times. They go limp like puppets without strings, for instance. But they also are too sentient to be puppets imo?
29:17 the book also has some evidence to suggest it was not foxy, page 78 says when a customer books a party room one of the animatronics will come in and give them a vist, but it only mentions Freddy Bonnie and Chica, not Foxy, and according to the phone call in night 6 FNaF 2 that they had one more event scheduled a birthday party and you're told to stay close to the animatronic to make sure they don't hurt any one, also it being withered foxy doesn't make to much sense because if that was the case why would this broken-down animatronic who was it even supposed to be out cause the bite, I personally believe Foxy not bitting any kids could be referring to a past security guard who worked at Freddy's in 1985 Edit: for clarification I was suggesting that the bite of 87 was possibly caused by Toy Bonnie or Toy Chica because it's likely the rules for what animatronic goes to the party room are the same across locations
>because if that was the case why would this broken-down animatronic who was it even supposed to be out cause the bite Why would *ANY* of the Withereds be out? I'd rather Foxy than Chica personally...

30:21 Remember, there were 2 spring lock victims that happened at fredbears. Both died at the same time in a freddy and bonnie suit. I believe that since their death was accidental, so there wasn’t enough agony to able to possess the suit like William. Only problem with this is that Shadow Freddy and Bonnie seem pretty significant so for them to be 2 random fredbear workers would be weird.
Not related to The Week Before (love the book btw) but I noticed that in the cutscene in ITP where we see pitbonnie standing in front of the mci, four of them are visible while two of them aren’t that visible because our vision is blocked by pit boy. I connected this to HW 2 with the fazforce figures where two of them are hidden until you get them. Those two are revealed to be golden freddy and puppet. Also in The Week Before the bonus item is the phone. Not Lights phone (Light is the last name of the new character), just phone.
At this point I think “it’s me “ is just something all the spirits are saying to tell ppl that they are trapped inside the suits and are just kids. I think it has some more significance to Golden Freddy still but I think they want ppl to know they are just kids
It wouldn't be a FNAF story if fans didn't have to theorize about which ending is canon\had their theory either proven or debunked by the next instalment.
04:26 The start of the FNaF 1 trailer on Scott's channel shows the Fazbear band entertaining cheering children, and states "During the day it's a place of joy", clearly showing that it's open; in fact, emphasis is even put on this by the follow-up line "But you're not here during the day...", meaning that the community's known it's open since the 15th of June 2014.
It could be possible that the bite of 87 victim was comatose for a long time until medical science brought them back, explaining why Cassie's dad is becoming a parent so late in his life. He lost so many years and is trying to live in the moment because of it.
Ngl, i really just dont buy the "Cassie's Dad is Jeremy Fitzgerald", isnt there basically 0 evidence that'd tie the two together? Plus i imagine it's difficult to recover from half your brain being removed...
@@higueraft571the evidence is that Mike (aka FoxyBro) goes under the fake name of Fritz (aka the FoxyVictim). So if Cassie’s Dad is BonnieBully, him using the fake name Jeremy, which is the name of the BonnieVictim. That’s more ‘evidence’ that his name isn’t actually Jeremy, but that he’s the other guard from fnaf2. The ‘remember Jeremy’ prompt from the achievement could just be pointing to the connection between the HW2 player and Jeremy. That could be reminding him of ‘why’ he used the name (if he was looking into the MCI, he might have known Jeremy) or that he used that name (if he’d forgotten what happened leading up to the bite) or even that it became his name (if he was in a coma for a long time, couldn’t remember who his birth name, and the only ID found on him at the time he was taken in to the hospital was Jeremy Fitzgerald). It removes one of the extra random Jeremy’s from the story by having the name be a direct reference to the MCI Jeremy. Sort of like how the two Mike’s are the same, and the second Fritz is also Mike (and the two Fritz’s share Foxy connections). It cleans up some earlier elements and weaves Cassie’s Dad into story at times other than just the bite of ‘83 and the present. The same kind of context clues point to him being the employee obsessed with princess quest we find messages from in Security Breach. So it’s all pretty circumstantial and vague. As for being the bite of ‘87 victim, having the character being one of the bullies makes the two bites feel connected. And the brain damage, if he survived and eventually was able to live a normal life afterwards, could be an answer to ‘what makes you so special?’ He can’t be hijacked in the same way as Gregory or Vanessa, his brain just isn’t set up for the ‘AI in one side of the brain’ thing we learn about in ‘the Monty Within’. As for people living with significant portions of their brain missing, there have been a number of examples in human history. Phineas Gage is the classic example. This article talks about him and other people that have survived frontal lobe damage. nationalpost.com/news/how-phineas-gage-survived-a-horrific-brain-injury-to-become-one-of-the-most-famous-names-in-medical-history

That’s more ‘evidence’ that his name isn’t actually Jeremy, but that he’s the other guard from fnaf2. Problem is, there's Objectively like 3-4 or so different Jeremys *already* :V Like, at LEAST the MCI Victim, the FNAF 2 Guard, AND the Help Wanted one (all of which happen to end up losing part of their faces, oddly enough...) Plus, this just seems like it's purely relying on Michael using a fake name as Evidence. >The ‘remember Jeremy’ prompt from the achievement could just be pointing to the connection between the HW2 player and Jeremy. It also HEAVILY refers to the "Remember Jeremy" from Security Breach. >could be an answer to ‘what makes you so special?’ *way* too vague of a point in general to speculate on, at this point. >Phineas Gage is the classic example. This article talks about him and other people that have survived frontal lobe damage. Yeah but, we're not talking *partial* damage, like with Phineas Gage, we're talking *COMPLETELY* missing the Frontal Lobe in it's entirety. That's closer to "lost one kidney/lung" vs "lost both". The former is functional, the latter is not. For reference on what a TOTAL loss of the Frontal Lobe would involve: Complete Paralysis (w/ Intact Sensations) Loss of Speech Loss of Decision-making and Problem-solving capabilities (literally a "one thought at a time" mind, you can work a door handle, but you cannot open a door at the same time) Loss of Impulse Control and Personality (or loss of Emotion in general) The Loss of Motor Control/Total Paralysis is what would totally shoot your theory in the foot, since i dont think he'd be doing much in the exact state that Stephen Hawking was in... Effectively, The Victim would be "alive", but about as much as a Vegetable is.
@@higueraft571 However, the 'no frontal lobe' is based solely on Ralph's word. He's not a doctor. Any information he has about the bite victim would be second or third hand. So, he could be wrong, he could be exaggerating, etc. There are currently three Jeremy's. This would use one Jeremy to explain a second one. And, one has their frontal lobe bit, one cuts their own face off and withered Bonnie is missing his face plate. So there seems to be some relationship between Bonnie, Jeremy and damage to the face/frontal lobe area. The Mike connection is two different fake names. In FNAF 1, he uses the last name Schmidt. But it's the same Mike, so there is only one Mike in the gameline. Fritz and Jeremy are both guards in FNAF2, and are both names of MCI children. Which seems like a pretty odd coincidence. Or Scott couldn't come up with a lot of names, so reused Fritz and Jeremy for the names of the MCI. Mostly it's a case of trying to consolidate characters so that there aren't just random loose ends. So, we can just have Cassie's dad as BonnieBully and then he just disappears until the Pizzaplex is built. By having him be Jeremy Fitzgerald and the bite of '87 victim, it makes him part of more than just the 'start' and 'end' of the story. It explains how he would be sidelined for a while and then come back into the story later. On the subject of the Remember Jeremy achievement: it is related to the first Help Wanted, but it specifically shows the Bonnie poppet, so it is making a connection to the MCI Jeremy. It's about collecting the poppets, any poppet, so it's about the MCI, it just echoes something from the previous game.
@@GendoRokabundi >Any information he has about the bite victim would be second or third hand. So, he could be wrong, he could be exaggerating, etc. True, but odds are considering he was almost certainly at the company WHEN it happened, and kept tabs on the report, he likely would have gotten fairly accurate information. Especially if said info can also be spun in a positive light. (And besides, even if there IS any idea it wasnt ACTUALLY the Full Frontal Lobe, the only info we have with nothing to contradict it is that the Wholeass Frontal Lobe was taken off.) >There are currently three Jeremy's. This would use one Jeremy to explain a second one. Except it wouldnt? That'd just add an extra stamp to ONE of the Three Jeremys. One Jeremy (1985 Child) is currently dead/possessing a robot. The Other (1987 Security) had his Frontal Lobe bitten out. The Third (2020s~ Developer) cut his face off because of Glitchtrap. This would require you to claim that the 1987 Guard is the Developer who (most likely) died to decrease the amount. >Or Scott couldn't come up with a lot of names This 100% seems pretty likely though. It kind of feels like this in particular is just "mash two separate characters together, even if they dont really fit that well"? And problem is, there's FAR more important characters that suffer from this far more. eg Henry, aka "The Idiot(tm) who dipped for like 40~ years before enacting his Grand Plan (and only succeeding in killing himself, while literally *everybody else* lives)" Or Michael (who seemingly stopped being active for 20~ years, or however long between FNAF 1 and SL/FNAF 4 Nights, and SL/FNAF 4 Nights to 3) etc Overall Henry especially needs something to be doing if he wasnt literally Fucked Off, knowing exactly what's happening and just Didnt Care Anyways speaking of Michael: >The Mike connection is two different fake names. In FNAF 1, he uses the last name Schmidt. But it's the same Mike, so there is only one Mike in the gameline. This kinda doesnt work as well though, Michael being Fritz Smith is mostly because we KNOW Michael was at FNAF 2 (FNAF 3 Phantoms + Logbook, if i remember right? May be forgetting something else too) and that the firing reasons/generally Tampering with the Animatronics was the same (except he was even FASTER on that aspect, doing so on the first night). Mike Schmidt being linked to Michael Afton *is* of course a much easier time as well, especially when his first Proper Introduction has "MIKE" stamped right in our face :V Meanwhile, Cassie's Dad being Jeremy Fitzgerald... really doesnt have much at all, aside from "Man with Bonnie Mask, possibly related to man who shares name with Jeremy victim??" More so if the WHOLE Frontal Lobe was, infact, chewed out.
The only thing about foxy doing the bit of 87 is that, during another part of the book, Ralph is going to get bit by Freddy and he wonders what it will be like to lose his frontal lobe. Now, that may just be an illusion to the bite, with Ralph just thinking of the most recent bite that happened before he gets bit, or it could be a hint towards possibly Freddy (or Withered Freddy) having done it.
I think the canon ending is the cellphone ending, and the thing with the oh you need to do the "non canon" ending first, is more like a gameplay thing with like "Oh you did the 6th night, nice now restart with this item for the real canon ending"
32:00 I actually really like Sire Squack's theory that Shadow Freddy is some kind of evil force that seeks to help William in some way, more or less. After all, Shadow Freddy does lead the animatronics directly to him to be dismantled. I think this could still work with Shadow Freddy being an Agony daemon created by the MCI too, since Agony creatures can be evil after all. And I dew really hope that the Shadows will be relevant again in some way, I feel like they have a lot of potential to be cool characters outside of just being a pair of weird easter eggs. I feel like the place where they could fit in best is in a game or something set in the 30-year intermission prior to FNAF 3 (I've felt for a long time that getting more info of that time period could be really cool but I dont wanna go on a tangent here), caus tbh I dont reeaally see how they could be added into the SB era of the timeline...
Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master, using the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu. The Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice and the Sword of Fire. Weapons so powerful, no one can handle all of their power at once! When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them. A battle between brothers broke out, and the oldest was struck down and banished to the Underworld. Peace returned, and the younger brother hid the weapons, but knowing his older brother's relentless ambition for power, he placed a guardian to protect them. And for fear of his own demise, a map for an honest man to hide. That honest man was your father. The older brother is Lord Garmadon, and I... need to find those weapons before he does.
21:37 it’s possible that golden Freddy / Cassidy takes primary control over the animatronics or speaking through them like how they did in ultimate custom night where yes all the animatronics are possessed but golden Freddy is more powerful then the other’s spiritually because of how they died like the power of the spirit is determined by how they died like how bad it was like if you passed away naturally from natural causes like age you’re spirit is not as powerful but the more violently you died the more spiritually powerful you are meaning she has more control over spirits in general meaning she’s just high jacking one of the animatronics minds for a moment.
I wonder how much stuff Scott has unconsciously hinted at, only for theorists to make theories about it, and him going "hey, that's cool, I could do something fun with that"
"they shouldn't be able to activate, but if for some reason they do" -fnaf 2. Likelihood is fazbear staff thought they wouldn't get back up, so they never bothered to change the mode
@@justaperson4656 True, but that implies that the Withers were just walking around the restaurant for the first few days until the bite, and no one stopped them. Unless, for some reason, they didn't get up until the day of the bite.
The "Its me" could be the missing children trying to communicate that its them. They're missing, but no one knows until later in the timeline that they're dead and possesing the suits. Maybe its them pleading with whoever to realize that its them and they're trapped.
What a Hexcellent video!! Love the coverage on our loveable Phone Guy However there are a few problems with your Withered Foxy Bite of 87 1. The newspaper at the end of FNAF clarifies it’s the Toys that get scrapped, not the Withereds, otherwise FNAF 1 would’ve never happened and the Withereds refurbished into the Classics 2. The Withereds only activated at night, and Management nor the guard would allow a giant, tattered, smelly Fox to cause an accident, but one of the Toys can very mix do so being active at Dayshift 3. Ralph/Phone Guy never canonically differentiates/calls Toy Foxy “The Mangle” he only refers to him as Foxy just like every other version and variant of the character, which means Ralph could also be thinking about the Mangle during page 18 of TWB

I think you might sorta be missing what people mean when they complain about agony and remnant and the like. Horror's an odd genre that can be really hard to pull off, but "the unknown" is a huge factor. It's especially important in more paranormal stuff. But FNaF pivoted into sci-fi explanations while trying to maintain paranormal situations, essentially, and that clashes when it comes to horror. It started a pattern of focusing more and more on sci-fi reasoning. People essentially see agony and remnant as the first step of a slippery slope that pulled the series away from paranormal horror.
"It really muddies the waters in an unnecessary way" Welcome to FNAF. If the Bite victim isn't Cassie's Dad/Fitzgerald, that means there's at least 2 Jeremies and at most 3 now. Goddammit Scott.
Yeah and depending who you ask, many different Mikes. Schmidt, Afton, the one from into the pit, the "not Mike and not Dave" Ike and Devon, and I may be missing some.
Ok maybe its a stretch but that line about the bite victim could mean he stays out of the public eye, which would explain why no one recognizes him when he tries to get a job at the pizzaplex
I know this has nothing to really do with this video but this came to my head so please just hear me out. I have a feeling that Michael and William possibly died on the same day. Fnaf 3 mini games and sister location take place over the same amount of time being 5 days (or 5 mini games for fnaf 3 possibly being 5 days). William also told Michael to go down to the SL bunker but then just vanishes implying he's now locked in the safe room and now Michael has to go find him. Not only that but imagine how poetic it is that the father and son both so similar even down to looks and how they actually sound being so closely tied in with each other that they both die on the exact same day. It would be truly poetic and to me at least makes sense. I know it isn’t relevant but I just wanted to get it out and thought it was kind of an interesting thing to think about. It also could explain why in Michael’s speech he says there is only one thing left for him to do. As far as Michael knows his sister is free and he could potentially by that point in the story know what his father has done and so now he believes that the only thing that is left for him to do anymore is end his father to prevent any more suffering. It’s the most poetic thing if it’s true because they both suffered similar fates but were now on opposite sides and them dying and beginning this new cycle after death at the same time starts the countdown towards the end in fnaf 6 (until security breach debatably)
I have not read the book so i might be missing context, but what if the "its me" tagline is more of the spirits trying to remember themselves? This would also make sense with shatter victim. If you belive that. It would also explain the line "the others are like anamals, but im very aware." Maybe the puppet doesnt have a pice of david/cc and so the puppet isnt confused? Personally i think that cc or dave would have sread his agony across all the anmattonics do to how afraid he is of them. After all, he was bullied using the masks of the core 4.
I loved it when Ralph Phone Guy said "oh fuck I'm gonna Ralph!" and then vomited on Freddy Fazbear. Absolute cinema. Edit: jokes aside, all the spooky ghost shit in this story, in the FNaF1 pizzeria, validates my idea of a FNaF-themed Phasmophobia-type game. I feel like that would be so fun as just a loose, for funsies, mostly non-canon game (or at least, make it like Guts and Blackpowder, where there is a canon storyline, but it's not 1:1 with the gameplay). Scott please, I beg you. It doesn't have to be a collab either, just a ghost investigation game like Phasmophobia, but in various FNaF locations, with a loose canon that doesn't impact replayability.
Foxy being responsable for the bite of '87 bothers me because the bite was the reason the animatronics can't roam during the day, but Withered Foxy shouldn't have been roaming around during the day since he is in Parts & Services, meaning it HAS to have been one of the Toy Animatronics and it was the reason they were scrapped instead of repurposed But i'm open for getting my mind changed in the future
I wonder if its possible for the spirits to be able to switch between suits? I don't know a whole lot about the lore but I'm fascinated by it. I work full time so I don't get alot of time to be able to read the books and I'm too big of a chicken to play the games but I'm invested
the thing is withered foxy is in parts and service, so did he just walk out the parts and service and attack someone? it feels unlikely because they made it so the animatronics could no longer roam throughout the day and i highly doubt they let the withered animatronics walk around before that
Might be a long shot but I don’t think it’s the only thing they can say because doesn’t withered chica say something like “I was the first, I saw everything” so if she could say that surly they can say a lot more that “it’s me”??
fnaf 4 have the teaser "was it me?" "1987" and "out of order" on nightmare foxy teaser, 87 especially on his eyes its straight up confirmation and people takes it as a "redhering"
The game itself was about year 1983, and the whole "Was it me?" was about the Big Bite and Fredbear, whose text said "It was me." Scott was confused about what date to put in for the bite in the source code of his website, first, he wanted to make it the bite of 87, then he changed his mind about it and made the year 86, then 82, and THEN 83. So, yeah, it's probably not a "red herring", but a scrapped idea from early times of FNAF 4's development. It's not a confirmation. And, Foxy was always "Out of Order", like in FNAF World says: "Out of Order since FNAF 1". I guess that's just his thing now.
>fnaf 4 have the teaser "was it me?" "1987" and "out of order" on nightmare foxy teaser, 87 especially on his eyes its straight up confirmation and people takes it as a "redhering" Because, at the time, SEVERAL characters had the "Was it me?" teasers (At least Bonnie, Chica, *and* Foxy), alongside this game changing it's time period at least twice (87 > 82 > 83) So yeah, it was very much a Red Herring, especially when the previous two ALSO suggested it. More so when there's hints that OTHERS did it as well, some with much stronger evidence towards it (eg Toy Chica)
@@higueraft571 no, the only thing which changed was 1982 1987 WAS KEPT WITH 1983, its not a stupid redhering scott isn't that troll to mislead the entire fanbase, this teaser was A CLUE for fnaf 2, NOT FNAF 4
I’ve been reading a Reddit post talking about what’s confirmed and not confirmed and the perosn in the comments are saying that Cassidy is pretending to be browen and I don’t recall that ever being mentioned in the book at all
I am sooooo happy they made Ralph likeable. It wouldve been so easy to make him an asshole manager type. I love him so much, and the whole book honestly. I got so tired of fazbear frights / tales from the pizzaplex, this book was so refreshing
Honestly I had a few problems with the book. Mainly the fact that you can see gameovers to your choice on the next page or even through the current one due to how dark the gameover is. Second I feel it pulled back on the deaths. I think Goosebumps cyoa books did it best where you know how you died and it gives a cheesy joke with it. Finally not enough good endings. I'd love another hidden noncanon ending where you free the souls of the kids. Solid 3.5-4 book as a long time gamebook/cyoa reader
28:30 I still believe that the bite is from mangle because before mangle was a pull apart and put back together attraction she was called Funtime "foxy" this confirmed by fnaf world even though fnaf world isn't canon (this isn't the Funtime animatronic because fnaf world was released before sister location) but in the fnaf 2 phone calls he calls mangle foxy so assuming they are the same person which its highly likely they are then he is probably talking about mangle though he calls mangle and withered both just "foxy" so it could be either but to be fair withered foxy is really old and this was during the day where the withered wouldn't usually roam around.
@@Blinkythe3eyedfishfromfuturama "I wanted to keep my plans for a new game secret until Halloween, but while my teasers have created excitement for some people, they have created some confusion as well, mainly because people don't know if the Five Nights at Freddy's story is over or not. It's very important for me to say again that there will NOT be a Five Nights at Freddy's 5. The story is complete, and the Halloween update and new game will not add to it. That being said, I wanted to use these characters in a new and fun way because they are so near and dear to my heart, and I was excited to work on a type of game that I hadn't made in a long time. The new game that I'm working on will be called FNAF World. It will not be a horror game, but a role playing game where you create a party using the huge selection of characters from the FNaF games, including the classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions. I've been working steadily on characters and hope to start on enemy models next week." - Scott on the development of fnaf world. He said it wouldn't add to the story, not that it wasn't canon or wouldn't clarify details
Escape The Pizzaplex doesnt *HAVE* to be before Security Breach, especially if we dont know when in the timeline the "sinkhole" occurs; We never see the Pizzaplex during the day and the place is absolutely massive, although a lot of the staff die slightly prior to Security Breach (Fair to assume this will be in the story, I agree that its likely before Security Breach) but there has to still be people working there at things like the food court up to the sinkhole, and this *Could* be confirmation of the Burntrap ending and Gregory or someone having to escape the sinkhole. Too much speculation but theres definitely a few things that they could be tying up.
27:18 how could withered foxy possibly do the bite seriously do you not think they wouldn’t have the door locked at times during the day while open have parts in service unlocked. Also when Ralf said that foxy hasn’t bitten kids he probably is just saying foxys in general which would possibly include mangel which technically is or was a foxy that just got torn apart
“Ralph, the artist formally known as phone guy”
Why is The week before so good!!! Best FNaF media ever. Also why do we know more about Ralph now than any other human character in the entire franchise?
That isn't a high bar to clear.
@@RFDN0 It’s funny though because he’s been around since the beginning and we JUST got his name along with more characterization than anyone else to my knowledge.

@@AntiKaiMaticNot really on the Cassie front if you're talking about the girl from Ruin.
Mike in the movie is on the same level, maybe? But otherwise...
Maybe william said "its me" when luring the kids away in the spring bonnie costume? Like; its me, the yellow rabbit, follow me
That's make sense, even with Charlie's death, she must've known William (obv) so he could've used that line "it's me" to try and show familiarity to drop her guard then kill her
Do think or believe that they are saying “it’s me” whether it’s like telling an adult that either the adult killed them of who they think is their killer by saying Hey, it’s me, you killed me” or that they are like saying to an adult like “Hey, it’s me, I am still here.”

Those events still add up to the current timeline lol
@@rickitysplitz7035 He's saying that he's glad it's actually easy to tell this works in the timeline instead of something like the Fazbear Frights stories where we're STILL arguing about if some of them are canon after the series ended and an entire new one started

Could the animatronics saying "It's Me." be the kids possessing the animatronics letting the night-gaurd (whom they believe is William) alerting him to their presence? I.E: "Its me/us, that innocent child you unalived; I'm/we're still here."
Edit: Also, thanks for the mini shout out, Rye!☝️🥸💙
It's the other way around, it's William afton some how controlling the kids to murd3r just like in the movie. "I always come back", "it's me"
You can say killed
There is so much good lore in this book but also a lot of "That's a hell of a mystery no one thought was a mystery and didn't even really need solving, but damn if it didn't just get solved so nice work*
one of the Theories that has some credence is "being caught in a loop"
Spirits tend to repeat things, without even knowing it, Ralf might alredy be dead in this book, many passages hint towards somthing like that. but loops in FNAF only get broken by an external force significantly changing something.
figured id share some ideas that ive been thinking about.
Makes sense because the outside factor is us playing the book. We can change his outcome, but all the outcomes still exist
If you use it,you get a weird paragraph:
“A Master Key is not in this game. You are the one who just live (?) with your shame. You know what they say:
Cheaters don't win but those who make the purple man grin." .
Then it gives you a list of all nights and their pages and says that The Game has crashed

19:21 I feel like there is evidence to suggest that other characters say it's me in the games, like some times when foxy leaves his cove the sign changes to IT'S ME, those random hallucinations with Freddy and Bonnie in the first game show the words IT'S ME
I saw a theory on Reddit that Browen doesn't actually call Ralph, instead it's actually Golden Freddy Mimicking her to get him to stop the others for leaving, the evidence for this is that when Ralph thinks of a question that question coincidentally gets answered after he thinks that and the fact that Browen accidentally calls Bonnie Jeremy
she was also wearing a nametag in the suit, which would imply she got hired (i don’t think journalists wear those)
@@endernightblade1958 Some journalists wear them
@@Loomrex ok that clears that up, thanks

I’m thinking that the reason why other animatronics and not just GF say “it’s me” is because they are trying to tell any adult that they are the MCI. Kinda like taking out their anger on any adult because the investigators left them to rot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Coppelia like the ballet? A mechanical doll whose inventer wants to being her to life via human sacrifice?
RIGHT??
The "it's me" seems like it's vengeful spirit speaking through each instances' vessels. Kinda like the mediocre melodies. Especially if the vengeful spirit is able to read minds in a spooky way?

I've written a 4.7k word analysis about a single topic regarding this book (Golden Freddy). It's THAT good, and I'm so happy I got it and read it myself despite the currency conversion, which made it way more expensive for me than it should be lol
Excited to see what you have to say about it, seriously
You know, now "It's me" is very, VERY similar by context (if not identical) to "He told me Everything".
Nah it isn't her, she explicitly says her bosses don't let her print any stories about Freddy's :(
Foxy's sign can also say ITS ME, it seems to be more of a statement of a puppet master, or friends parroting a phrase of the group leader, or maybe part of a spirit is in all of them, idk. but THINGS ARE HAPPENING EVERYONE, DON'T PANIC
The animatronics are also called puppets a few times. They go limp like puppets without strings, for instance. But they also are too sentient to be puppets imo?
29:17 the book also has some evidence to suggest it was not foxy, page 78 says when a customer books a party room one of the animatronics will come in and give them a vist, but it only mentions Freddy Bonnie and Chica, not Foxy, and according to the phone call in night 6 FNaF 2 that they had one more event scheduled a birthday party and you're told to stay close to the animatronic to make sure they don't hurt any one, also it being withered foxy doesn't make to much sense because if that was the case why would this broken-down animatronic who was it even supposed to be out cause the bite, I personally believe Foxy not bitting any kids could be referring to a past security guard who worked at Freddy's in 1985
Edit: for clarification I was suggesting that the bite of 87 was possibly caused by Toy Bonnie or Toy Chica because it's likely the rules for what animatronic goes to the party room are the same across locations

30:21 Remember, there were 2 spring lock victims that happened at fredbears. Both died at the same time in a freddy and bonnie suit. I believe that since their death was accidental, so there wasn’t enough agony to able to possess the suit like William.

Most horror stories prefer unlikable protagonists so their deaths can be part of the fun.

@@GendoRokabundi >So if Cassie’s Dad is BonnieBully, him using the fake name Jeremy, which is the name of the BonnieVictim. That’s more ‘evidence’ that his name isn’t actually Jeremy, but that he’s the other guard from fnaf2.
Problem is, there's Objectively like 3-4 or so different Jeremys *already* :V
Like, at LEAST the MCI Victim, the FNAF 2 Guard, AND the Help Wanted one (all of which happen to end up losing part of their faces, oddly enough...)
Plus, this just seems like it's purely relying on Michael using a fake name as Evidence.
>The ‘remember Jeremy’ prompt from the achievement could just be pointing to the connection between the HW2 player and Jeremy.
It also HEAVILY refers to the "Remember Jeremy" from Security Breach.
>could be an answer to ‘what makes you so special?’
*way* too vague of a point in general to speculate on, at this point.
For reference on what a TOTAL loss of the Frontal Lobe would involve:
Complete Paralysis (w/ Intact Sensations)
Loss of Speech
Loss of Decision-making and Problem-solving capabilities (literally a "one thought at a time" mind, you can work a door handle, but you cannot open a door at the same time)
Loss of Impulse Control and Personality (or loss of Emotion in general)
The Loss of Motor Control/Total Paralysis is what would totally shoot your theory in the foot, since i dont think he'd be doing much in the exact state that Stephen Hawking was in...
(And besides, even if there IS any idea it wasnt ACTUALLY the Full Frontal Lobe, the only info we have with nothing to contradict it is that the Wholeass Frontal Lobe was taken off.)
>There are currently three Jeremy's. This would use one Jeremy to explain a second one.
>Or Scott couldn't come up with a lot of names
This 100% seems pretty likely though.
>Mostly it's a case of trying to consolidate characters so that there aren't just random loose ends. It kind of feels like this in particular is just "mash two separate characters together, even if they dont really fit that well"?
And problem is, there's FAR more important characters that suffer from this far more.
eg Henry, aka "The Idiot(tm) who dipped for like 40~ years before enacting his Grand Plan (and only succeeding in killing himself, while literally *everybody else* lives)"
Or Michael (who seemingly stopped being active for 20~ years, or however long between FNAF 1 and SL/FNAF 4 Nights, and SL/FNAF 4 Nights to 3)
etc
Overall Henry especially needs something to be doing if he wasnt literally Fucked Off, knowing exactly what's happening and just Didnt Care
Anyways speaking of Michael:
>The Mike connection is two different fake names. In FNAF 1, he uses the last name Schmidt. But it's the same Mike, so there is only one Mike in the gameline.
Mike Schmidt being linked to Michael Afton *is* of course a much easier time as well, especially when his first Proper Introduction has "MIKE" stamped right in our face :V
Meanwhile, Cassie's Dad being Jeremy Fitzgerald... really doesnt have much at all, aside from "Man with Bonnie Mask, possibly related to man who shares name with Jeremy victim??"
More so if the WHOLE Frontal Lobe was, infact, chewed out.
Literally "Ralph the Phone Guy" is right there and no one will get confused
The only thing about foxy doing the bit of 87 is that, during another part of the book, Ralph is going to get bit by Freddy and he wonders what it will be like to lose his frontal lobe. Now, that may just be an illusion to the bite, with Ralph just thinking of the most recent bite that happened before he gets bit, or it could be a hint towards possibly Freddy (or Withered Freddy) having done it.
can u do how many osha violations in the pizzaplex
That would be too long of a video. Likely every animatronic and robot being able to walk around would count as one.

Been waiting for this since the books dropped. Glad he got around to making a video on this.
But that still leaves the question if it’s not the crying child reaching out with ITS ME to Michael then what else could the line ITS ME mean?
I wonder how much stuff Scott has unconsciously hinted at, only for theorists to make theories about it, and him going "hey, that's cool, I could do something fun with that"
28:55 My main gripe, why would Wither Foxy and the others be in Free Roam Mode?
Love the coverage on our loveable Phone Guy
However there are a few problems with your Withered Foxy Bite of 87
1. The newspaper at the end of FNAF clarifies it’s the Toys that get scrapped, not the Withereds, otherwise FNAF 1 would’ve never happened and the Withereds refurbished into the Classics
2. The Withereds only activated at night, and Management nor the guard would allow a giant, tattered, smelly Fox to cause an accident, but one of the Toys can very mix do so being active at Dayshift
3. Ralph/Phone Guy never canonically differentiates/calls Toy Foxy “The Mangle” he only refers to him as Foxy just like every other version and variant of the character, which means Ralph could also be thinking about the Mangle during page 18 of TWB

My one cannon thing to change would be the newspaper in Fnaf 1 that says someone was arrested and charged for the mci.
Maybe they say "its me" as in "its me the one that was killed." in the ones were the context doesnt explain it.
Foxy being responsable for the bite of '87 bothers me because the bite was the reason the animatronics can't roam during the day, but Withered Foxy shouldn't have been roaming around during the day since he is in Parts & Services, meaning it HAS to have been one of the Toy Animatronics and it was the reason they were scrapped instead of repurposed
But i'm open for getting my mind changed in the future
Tbf Ralph referred to mangle as "foxy" in fnaf 2 and said mangle was just an employee nickname
I wonder if its possible for the spirits to be able to switch between suits? I don't know a whole lot about the lore but I'm fascinated by it. I work full time so I don't get alot of time to be able to read the books and I'm too big of a chicken to play the games but I'm invested
Hi welcome to fnaf
the thing is withered foxy is in parts and service, so did he just walk out the parts and service and attack someone? it feels unlikely because they made it so the animatronics could no longer roam throughout the day and i highly doubt they let the withered animatronics walk around before that

fnaf 4 have the teaser "was it me?" "1987" and "out of order" on nightmare foxy teaser, 87 especially on his eyes
its straight up confirmation and people takes it as a "redhering"
The game itself was about year 1983, and the whole "Was it me?" was about the Big Bite and Fredbear, whose text said "It was me."
Scott was confused about what date to put in for the bite in the source code of his website, first, he wanted to make it the bite of 87, then he changed his mind about it and made the year 86, then 82, and THEN 83.
So, yeah, it's probably not a "red herring", but a scrapped idea from early times of FNAF 4's development. It's not a confirmation.
And, Foxy was always "Out of Order", like in FNAF World says: "Out of Order since FNAF 1". I guess that's just his thing now.
>fnaf 4 have the teaser "was it me?" "1987" and "out of order" on nightmare foxy teaser, 87 especially on his eyes

Because, at the time, SEVERAL characters had the "Was it me?" teasers (At least Bonnie, Chica, *and* Foxy), alongside this game changing it's time period at least twice (87 > 82 > 83)
So yeah, it was very much a Red Herring, especially when the previous two ALSO suggested it. More so when there's hints that OTHERS did it as well, some with much stronger evidence towards it (eg Toy Chica)

Bonnie bully as cassies dad is far fetched since he would be in his 50s when cassie was born
