toaonua I know a total change in the timbre of the films score. Light of the Seven sounds more ‘precise’ than the night king to me. The night king almost sounds like a fragmented version of light of the seven.
Imagine how epic it would've been if Cersei met the Night King and both looked so deadly at each other while a little mashup of The Night King and Light of the Seven is playing, with Wildfire burning behind Cersei and the Mountain at her side, and the Night King with the rest of the white walkers and the army of the dead. Why season 8? Just why?!
The two main villains. And these two pieces represent them perfectly: one is cold and mystical, there is mystery and sadness but also darkness in the Night King; the other is violent and sinister, full of loss, anger, poison and vengeance as Cersei sure is.
_There's something wrong_ _You have nothing to fear, the night will not be long_ _Cercei is not here, the Iron Fleet is not here, why do you think they're not here ?_ _Even if they are not here, the dragon queen will burn the army of the dead with her..._ _Forget about the bloody dragons and listen to what I'm telling you, Cercei knew the power of the Night king when we have come to ask her help, and she saw that Viserion was missing, which means she understands what is going to happen here._ _This war can wait... we all need to leave now._ _WE ALL NEED TO LEAVE NOW !_
The two biggest villains. One killed by a flying girl, the other by a couple of bricks. Honestly it would have been better for the NK to kill Cersei in a way. Shame these two never met.
Same, even though I was disappointed with this whole season. I could hear immediately the base they used for this theme from light of the seven. Next day. Boom. This guy nailed it.
Imagine for a moment, a possible "what if" scenario where the Night King defeated the North. Where Cersei was confident that it was the right move to let her enemies fight each other to the death & deal with what remained. Her army along with the Golden Company amassing to defend against what remained of whichever enemy. Only to be met with the horrifying threat that Winterfell tried to stop, but unlike them, had no real allies to assist them. The Golden Company abandoning Cersei almost instantly as her army was left alone. Being slaughtered by her former enemies that came with Daenerys to Westeros. The dragons now with the White Walkers as blue flames burn across the city of King's Landing. The people panicking and fleeing, but to no avail. What survives attempts to amass to the Red Keep, pleading for their queen to save them. To give them sanctuary. All while Cersei denies them entry. Perhaps even ordering them killed for attempting to force their way in. All the while in denial that this could be in the end. Deluding herself in how her forces can hold them out despite the Night King gaining more soldiers for his undead army for each loss she suffers. The Red Keep overwhelmed & her Kingsguard being her final line of defense. Gregor Clegane, the Mountain, fulfilling his sworn duty as the killer he is. Butchering the dead that came to him with ease, but their numbers becoming too much. The Mountain crumbling before his queens enemies. And there, upon the Iron Throne. Alone. Defenseless. Cersei Lannister. Watching as the Great Hall fills with the dead. Her house guard, the gold cloaks, & the very people she left out to die. Not only that, but more continued to enter. The very people she viewed as her enemies. Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Sandor Clegane, her imp brother Tyrion, & her beloved twin brother, Jamie. All with glowing blue eyes. Flesh as white as the very snow that stormed in the capital. All staring upon her as she sat on the Iron Throne. All remaining still as the Night King himself approached and gazed upon her. It is perhaps in this very moment that Cersei realizes that she has doomed mankind. Where as many set aside their differences to ban together against the true enemy, she was still playing the "Game of Thrones". A game that worked against the living. For the dead hold no desire for a throne. No desire for honor. No desire glory. No desire for power...As such, she knew what would become of her. Though, rather than killing her himself, the Night King would leave that to the very people she forsook to him. The first to rip into her being none other than her beloved Jamie. Draining her lifes blood as well as the life blood of their child still within her.
I think what would be cool here is if Cercei seeing all was lost blew up with city with the mad king's voice "burn them all" as she twitches to the thought killing all inside as one massive explosion rid the enemy for good. But to be honest everyone moving south to defend in kings landing would be better since there are better defences there. What they should have done to force Cercei into fighting the undead would be to camp outside and inside the city till the threat moves down to them.
Honestly, it makes more sense. Humanity was so occupied with the Game of Thrones that they didn't realise where the true enemy laid. Which is honestly what the author of the books is currently writing. His endgame looks quite different (won't be quite like yours I assume, as he is more of a bittersweet type of guy) but currently humanity is seriously under-prepared to fight the Others as they are busy with their squabbles and not heeding the Night's Watch. Luckily the author also has prepared them with a few Messiahs ( Azor Ahai, Price/Princess who was promised) and 3 dragons.

I love both these songs because of the piano which has a sadness to it. There's sadness, something deep in both these scores and that's why I fell in love with them. 💙
Now if a legit mix like this happened after the NK conquered Winterfell with only few hero’s escaping and he made his way to K’sL and made his way towards Cersei as she sat on the throne. Thank you for creating this. I love it :) You build the music up in a nice way from start to climactic finish, and I go back and forth thinking about episodes 6.10 and 8.3, two of my favorite episodes. How tame Cersei seems in comparison to the Night King, and of course the Dragon Queen has a greater kill count, especially of women and children, then both of them combined. When listening to this piece, I am also reminded of the difference between the HUGE amount of dragon fire and the itty bitty green wildfire explosions in the destruction of King's Landing. I know that this piece is about Cersei and the Night King, but it also makes me think of the Dragon Queen as well. One season, three villains, and this captures their spirit very well :) Once again, thank you.
The Night King is portrayed as a terrifying being, but looks too human to be very intimidating. Then again, humans hold the record for number of atrocities committed.
Alt penultimate episode: Backstory: winterfell has fallen, dany took kings landing in season 7, Jaime killed qyburn to stop her from blowing up the city but gives her to euron Greyjoy to spare her life. Euron reveals to Cersei that he made a deal with the Night King to give him the largest navy the world has ever seen. Cersei sees euron turn into a white walker and kill all his own people, the survivors turn to yara and she takes a few lifeboats and Cersei as a hostage. Yara gives Sansa Cersei, Jaime frees her and tells podrick to take her to the eyrie. Episode: Cersei gives birth on the road. It is a son. She looks at the baby, and her eyes are strangely cold. She tells Podrick “I know how to defeat the Night King”, podrick dismisses her at first, but she says “Euron Greyjoy told me everything”, bringing up the fact that she is a first hand witness to his transformation. Podrick has heard Yaras terrifying revelation; the Night King can destroy the world at this point. If there’s one chance, even a small one, that Cersei can defeat the night king, surely it is worth taking. Podrick says “you have a plan?” Cersei says “being me to him.” The last scene is in a dark forest. Cersei and podrick are each holding lanterns; Cersei is holding her swaddle. Podrick’s horse is slowly walking, and we see blue eyes appearing around them, as if they were stars. No one is attacking yet. Cersei says, “Yes, he was right. Bring me to him.” Podrick helps her off her horse, they walk forward, with the dead encircling them, standing still. The night king and his white walker lieutenants appear from the shadows, calming walking towards them. Cersei walks towards them, podrick says “so what’s your plan?” Cersei looks back at him, saying nothing, but with a smirk on her face. The wights slowly close in on podrick, and he is in disbelief. He takes out his sword, killing as many wights as he can before they eat him alive, with Cersei just staring as he screams. Cersei turns back to the night king, they look at each other. She offers him her baby, and the night king smiles for the first time in the series. His lieutenant takes the baby, swaddling him, and Cersei looks on. The night king stares back at her, and comes closer. She kneels, and the night king puts his thumb under her left eye, as if blessing her. Cersei closes her eyes, and starts to laugh. She opens them as her green eyes turn blue. The episode ends. The night queen is born.
I'm Dissapointed The Night King didn't become "King Of The Seven". Gosh, such a dissapointing last season. RIP 11 years of story plot, in the end none of it mattered. Because SUBVERSION hey look....star wars
Evan Denison he’s actually right. Apparently HBO would’ve thrown all the money in the world to produce as many episodes as they needed but they rushed out 6 so they can focus on star wars
@@omahh94 George Lucas was on set with them for season 8. I can't picture him being there for the show, he was probably there to make sure they stayed to their agreement and rushed the hell out of that.
Imagine this: *Everyone is dead and the Night King kills Jaime right in front of Cersei.* *Cersei is in tears and the Night King eyes her down. snow and ash fall from the sky as Cersei stutters* Cersei: What d-do you w-want? *The Night King throws his javelin through Cersei and lands into a nearby pillar pinning Cersei* *The Night King grabs Cersei by the face and with a stone cold face says* Night King: _An everlasting winter..._ *The Night King then snaps Cersei’s neck* -The End- Welp could be worse
Didn't think writing could get worse than what David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have provided this season. Thanks for proving that wrong, I was a little worried.
Ravenclaw BNed “An everlasting winter” in the voice i’ve made for the Night King in my head sounds greater than any of the dialogue the last 2 seasons.

Podrick has heard Yaras terrifying revelation; the Night King can destroy the world at this point. If there’s one chance, even a small one, that Cersei can defeat the night king, surely it is worth taking. Podrick says “you have a plan?” Cersei says “being me to him.”
The last scene is in a dark forest.
I was pulling for the Night King. I think the best ending would have been him on the Iron Throne.
I couldn’t decided which one was better thanks for this
I'm Dissapointed The Night King didn't become "King Of The Seven".
Gosh, such a dissapointing last season. RIP 11 years of story plot, in the end none of it mattered. Because SUBVERSION hey look....star wars
lets be honest 'ice zombies' made no sense at all .
Aw, come on- you had to bring Star Wars into it?
@@evandenison5310 Dumb & Dumber are going to ruin Star Wars.
Evan Denison he’s actually right. Apparently HBO would’ve thrown all the money in the world to produce as many episodes as they needed but they rushed out 6 so they can focus on star wars
@@omahh94 George Lucas was on set with them for season 8. I can't picture him being there for the show, he was probably there to make sure they stayed to their agreement and rushed the hell out of that.
can we make a 4 hour version of this? I cant stop hearing this xD
Why are the villains always the best characters? Especially Cersei and Tywin
Just realized that The Light of the Seven is when Cersei blew people up and The Long Night is where the Night King blows up
Imagine this:
*Everyone is dead and the Night King kills Jaime right in front of Cersei.*
*Cersei is in tears and the Night King eyes her down. snow and ash fall from the sky as Cersei stutters*
Cersei: What d-do you w-want?
*The Night King throws his javelin through Cersei and lands into a nearby pillar pinning Cersei*
*The Night King grabs Cersei by the face and with a stone cold face says*
Night King: _An everlasting winter..._
*The Night King then snaps Cersei’s neck*
-The End-
Welp could be worse
Didn't think writing could get worse than what David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have provided this season. Thanks for proving that wrong, I was a little worried.
Ravenclaw BNed and promptly explodes, because the Iron Throne is 100% Valyrian Steel.
Diane The Wolfpanther
Shit forgot about that! Lol
Ravenclaw BNed “An everlasting winter” in the voice i’ve made for the Night King in my head sounds greater than any of the dialogue the last 2 seasons.
This is wonderful
CANNOT STOP the loop. Wouldn't mind dying t this
Perfect music for a funeral.
I was counting for Night King vs Cersei battle clash in KL , shame they ended the most anticipated villians in GOT sooo quickly
Quickly? Cersei has been a villain since the beginning and the battle against the night king has lasted since hardhome. They weren't really anticipated anymore.
@@oriboy7415 i wanted Arya to kill her or i would like to see her on trial like Little Finger , death by bricks in the hand of her lover seem merciful death to me .
This is beautiful; the best pieces of atmospheric music intertwined - good job!
I thought both songs sounded similar, glad I wasn't the only one who thought of this.
Ohh now I understood why they call it a song of ice ❄and fire🔥
wow... just....wow. Thank you.
Notice how the choir sings Aaaaaaaryaaaaaaaaah it's Aaaaaryaaaaaaaaaaaah in the chorus of Light of the Seven. OMG it was a hint all along! :p (at 11:20)
I just noticed it too
No. It. Wasnt.
