Without boring everyone with a long story, my wife and I as converts, had to jump through hoops just to get to convalidation. But it was worth it. Do what you have to do.
You are doing God's work. I love your presentations. It tells me that you really understand the Catholic Faith. God blessings to you and your family. Keep the good work of explaining what is happening at the MASS. We are so Blessed having you as a Christian speaker. ❤😊
Thanks Keith for telling that true about marriage.Marriage is a reflection of Jesus' love for the church. Jesus and the church are one, so both husband and wife are one.Greetings from Poland🇵🇱 May God bless You and your Family.
Keith!!!!!! You sound a bit frustrated in this video and I love it!. Many of us are frustrated with those Catholics that just follow what they want and leave the rest. Many of the Church's teaching and beliefs are really hard. I get that! BUT that doesn't mean we just disobey the church. I try my best to follow the church. Sure I fail some times , and yeah I don't understand all the teachings ,but I absolutely believe the Church is the right path. Keep up the great work Brother
Hi Kieth❣️Thank you for sharing❣️I listened to this on your Podcast, people need to hear this - the truth and there is so much that can be said about these readings❣️Praying for you and your family and for want you do❣️🙏🏻✝️📖
Prayers for your whole family Keith! May your MIL rest in peace! Thank you for unpacking the Mass for us. It’s been 10 weeks since I started listening to you. It has helped me a lot in connecting with the readings! May God continue to give you guidance and perseverance in helping poor souls like us. 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Keith, once again awesome commentary brother. Very powerful. My wife and I experienced a marriage issue and I asked for the Holy Spirit to guide us to find a solution, the next day we were sitting with our local parish priest and he gave us a complete understanding of what was troubling us and how to overcome it. That's be to God. Our condolences and prayers to your family at this time of sorrow.
Another ❤, another "10" We just admire you and your journey to the Catholic Church. What an inspiration for all! OBEDIENCE TO CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE BEST WAY! .... Prayers with you during this difficult time for your family.
My most sincere condolences at the death of Estelle’s mother. May she rest in peace and may your family be blessed with God’s blessings and consolation. Pax Christi
This one is so so good. God be praised for the gift he gave you. To take His word and articulate it so well while tying it into the hard truths of today. I really enjoy your videos
Condolences to you and your family. May her soul rest in peace. Thank you for this explanation. It's become difficult to explain this distinction in authority between man and woman in this time and age, especially to non-believers! God bless your works, Keith 🙏
Wow.. I gotta say I really appreciate your open, raw and honest approach to these readings and your messages. So, is this coincidence or something else? My son was given a wooden block which he gave to me this past Sunday. I put it on my desk right next to my monitor. On it is carved Ephesians 2:10. I just about fell out of my chair!
Thank you for keeping the roles of how God created us the utmost importance in our God given roles. When we meet up with friends that are in a male-male or woman-woman relationship, especially with Pope Francis saying we need to accept these relationships, I am not trying to cause negativity here or bashing of people who are different than my beliefs, I genuinely would like to know how to be compassionate to others in a freewill relationship and show them our beliefs without crushing who they feel they are. I have no right to judge them, and I would love to have them speak to our priest but those conversations cannot happen if I turn them away with an 'I am better than you because I am Catholic' kinda speaech because I don't believe that I am. I also feel that their relationships are none of my business, but I feel they must have been truly hurt in life somehow to walk away and change whom God made them to be. It's a very touchy subject and I cannot get them to come to experience anything in our faith our faith if they feel they are judged and admonished before they walk in the doors. Am I misunderstanding Pope Francis in his call of acceptance of Gay relationships and being compassionate to whom they feel they themselves are?
@Pamelazutell We live in a very complicated society with lots of challenges, but I just wanted to add some information hoping that it helps. What Pope Francis said regarding same sex relationships was taken out of context by the media. I initially heard what he said in a news clip and had a very similar reaction to yours. Then I looked for his entire speech on the matter and things made sense. What he said was that everyone is deserving of God’s love and should not be turned away from it, so everyone is deserving of a blessing, prayers, forgiveness, and love; however, a same sex union cannot be blessed by God and the Catholic Church because it mismatches what God created ( the union between a man and a woman). I’m hoping that this helps in some way. Thank you for being you and for loving your friends. I think that’s the first step to let them experience love… maybe some day they will seek that conversation or reach out to God and the Church. Keep planting seeds. They will bloom one day (even if you do not witness it). Actions speak louder than words
@@MeowMeow0934thank you for explaining exactly what Pope Francis actually said and meant. Too many people, Catholics included, have misunderstood him, especially due to the media and other pope-haters. Unfortunately, those many of those same people continue to be misinformed
Yes, if both parties are validly baptized but not married in the Church, this is a civil married that is valid but needs to be done in The Church and convalidated to be a Sacrament. If one of the spouses are validly baptized Catholic then the marriage falls under disparity of cult and is not valid (it is a sin for a Catholic to marry a non Catholic without proper permission by the Bishop and is not a valid marriage) and will need to go through convalidation by The Church to be a valid marriage but Sacramental status can not be granted. A marriage between same sex couples can never be convalidated or valid in any way by The Church. A marriage such as this while being recognized by law is not recognized in The Church as a marriage at all.
One of the toughest things for me to accept was my daughter‘s divorce, she tried for 14 years to make this marriage work. Eventually, she met a wonderful man, they went through the process of having their marriages annuled and were joined together in a Catholic marriage. They have the best life together. God has given them each other to heal and to move forward. Your interpretations today give me peace that they did everything the right way! God bless and thank you for always helping me to understand God‘s word.
✝️AWESOME BREAKDOWN this week on M/F, sexuality, Marriage, & obedience to GOD’s WILL and HIS PLAN for our lives today but more importantly - for ETERNITY✝️ SORRY & BLESSINGS to you, your WIFE and your family on the passing of your mother-in-law. May GOD lessen your suffering and BLESS the redemption & repose of her SOUL🙏✝️
I can’t agree with you more, just because this crazy people in Gods world want to manipulate Gods will with their wicked ways doesn’t mean God has to agree or abbey by, clearly this people are in denial and are mental. I rather obey God who’s my creator than the world and their wicked ways. May God have mercy on us and on the hole world.
He likely was baptized in a recognized fashion therefore confession was necessary. If one is not baptized then confession is not necessary because when you get baptized, all sin up to that point is washed clean.
@kevinscott393 Thank you. It makes sense now. That was what our priest told me at the time. All my previous sins "were washed away and did not need to be confessed" when I was baptized. After that, I kept hearing about a "first confession " and "life confession" from other converts and reverts and became confused. God bless.
Everyone who becomes Catholic has to have their first confession at some point, baptized or not. The Church requires once per year and at anytime you have committed a mortal sin.
May perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace 🙏🕯️💐
Sincere condolences to you,Estelle and your family.
Keep speaking the truth. It'll take time to bear fruit
Condolences to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Is there a difference between marriage in the sacrament of matrimony and other marriages?
This question is answered at 21:00. Thanks

Hello Keith. Thanks for sharing your story. What is "first confession"? Was that before you were baptized? I didn't get that option.
He likely was baptized in a recognized fashion therefore confession was necessary. If one is not baptized then confession is not necessary because when you get baptized, all sin up to that point is washed clean.
