Good grief, when compared directly to those other Cliffjumpers from OX and X-Transbots, this is in its own class. Great vid as always.
Yep. They knocked it out of the park again. Brilliant finish. Superior facesculpt. Perfect proportions. And just the right accessories.

@@mdkfuzz187 They're not all hits though. They're not complete misses but, sometimes, other companies makes better Transformers. MMC's Springer is one of them. When it comes to build and paint, you can't beat them. I've got Soundwave, Cyclonus and Astrotrain with Jazz and Cliffjumper pre-ordered.
@Say Soun I agree with you that MMC is great and does some quality work, and also agree FT isn't all hits, but have to say that mmc has had some issues also. My AzaleaA had floppy ankles out of the box, my vortex had the head popping off issue, and first run onslaught has the floppy leg issues for combined mode. But I'd say these are similar issues with products from both brands also in my experience. I don't feel I'm a defender, but I do own a fair amount of FT, and next would be MMC. My top two 3p companies are FT and MMC. Also have to agree on the springer. I don't own either of those myself, I got the open and play, but I've seen enough discussion and comparison that I feel that I can agree. I think we as fans are very fortunate to have two great companies producing figures for our hobby.
Looks great in both modes. Transformation looks a little tricky due to how small the figure is, but it's not that bad. Can't wait to get this! Great review 😀

Very cool figure. Thanks for the excellent review/transformation. Can't wait getting this one from my supplier. It is complex, but not to complex. Fanstoys did a great job again. I really hope they rework this one into a Bumblebee version. Because the Takara V2 only looks good from the front.

The head sculpt looks great, and that's the closest I've seen anyone come to the original penny-racer style of the G1 car.

Great video, but those lower legs/feet look brutal to transform. And I thought X-Transbots Boost was a nightmare. Passing on this figure but another killer video from you.

This looks a lot better than the takara version of Bumblebee that Jobby The Hong reviewed some time ago.
I still appreciate Ocular Max for doing a more realistic vehicle mode but I have to admit, the FansToys one cleans up nicer.

This looks like the type of figure I would buy just to end up breaking out of pure frustration, while transforming it.
Might this be the FT that will see a lot of returns or replacement parts?
I hope they've tested this to the extreme.

Wicked. I'm worried about the ball peg connection to the foot tho and how it'll hold up during transformation. It's usually easy to pop those back on but it is frustrating when trying to maneuver pieces and it pops out because of the required manipulation.

Nice in both modes just a peeve of mine is when the torso area that looks like the roof (or nosecone) of the vehicle and supposed to be is shown to be just a façade to make it look toon accurate and just disappears during transformation for something else to form that part. kinda turns me off of the figure.
I agree, but it's practically impossible to make it look the part in both modes without faux parts.
Where's the mp Bumblebee comparison? CJ is looking really good. I really like the alt mode. Will probably get two. Can't wait

As surprising as it may sound, this is the only Third party cliffjumper i've seen, and his transformation is suprisingly complex for his small size

No, MP45 is Takara.

Depends where you buy. I think it was $109 on BBTS in America, generally a little bit cheaper from Asian based retailers

You know that if Takara made this, it would have kibble on the back of its feet, cost $400, and come with a bunch of pointless accessories referencing singular moments from the cartoon series.
FT's got the same accessories. costs the same price as well. so everything you said is untrue lol
