National Express West Midlands really needs to step up its act transport wise in my opinion. Compared to Manchesters Bee Network system it looks ancient and short of ideas. The Yellow buses look bright and brand new. Manchester has a vastly up to darete fleet with many brand new 24 plate buses on show. West Midlands had scrapyard fleet. Some buses in NEWM are 21 years old and desperately need replacing. Come on Birmingham and West Midlands. Catch up will you? Youre been left behind by Manchesters example!
I've actually been wanting to go down and check out the older buses in the west midlands before they are retired. I believe you guys have gotten new electric buses today in service so the old ones would probably be retired soon
@glitchFan2428 our "new" electric BYD double-deckers have been waiting for over a year to enter service because they have refueling problems in other words not enough re-charging facilities at a particular depot to get 150 or more of these vehicles on the road. Manchester seems not to have a problem with this. In 2020 Walsall depot received 20 Streetdeck double-deckers. They have been withdrawn FIVE times since then, and all 20 NEVER ran on any one day during that time. They are off the, road altogether now, empty, still and unused. That is a scandal. The Yellow Bee buses are the way to go in Manchester obviously. It is a success. It is a pity National Expresses incompetence can't do the same!
@glitchFan2428 at least 50 of National Express "new" BYD double-deckers have had to change their registrations from last year's '73' to now '24' registration plates because they have been waiting for,so many months to enter passenger service, so by the time they actually do run, they are in fact over a,year old already! They have been designated "in preperation" for several months. These "new" buses should have been on the roads 4 weeks ago. Can we have your planning officer, please down here in the West Midlands. We bus enthusiasts want to see what you in Manchester are seeing...new public vehicles!
I hope our colouful Nottingham buses don't ever adopt an all-over colour as yours have done. People in Nottingham identify the routes by their colour. Surely the Bee Network could have chosen a better livery. It's just like the boring red in London.
Best updates on the Bee Network😀😀 Keep up the good work. Best bus spotting youtuber. Pls can I have this pinned pls.
Thanks, I'll certainly be doing more bee network videos 😁
Bee Yellow 🐝

Not to mention that during the winter months the road filth shows up on its sides clear as day :(
