I had a pot bellied pig way back, Cinderella, she was a cutie just like Sox. They are amazing creatures and really do have big personalities but they do love looking for stuff, Cinderella loved working in the yard with me, had to inspect it and it had to meet regulations! I think your fiberglassing work is all good and the gelcoat under shouldn’t be any problem. The only thing, which you probably have thought of already, is the underside of the outside edge where water is gonna drip from, we have problems there where the wood has rotted. Ive thought about it since Ive posted the video and I think Im gonna just go ahead and fiberglass the undsrside too. I appreciate the info. Cinderella is a perfect name for a piggy princess. Looking good 👍 .. the best part is you did your own work . If it wasn't for the rain you'd be way ahead of this . Can't wait to see it crusing on the lake . We have a travel trailer but with the restrictions and earthquakes we had last year we only took it camping 2 times ,once to sequoia and the other to Laughlin to the colorado river.. It's just sitting stored . Kids are sad about not being able to go camping ..

Executive decisions are made between spouses ! Lol. What you made us a veto on a suggestion ! Is the lock to help it from blowing off going down the road ? Or security reasons ? I’ve seen those latches rattle loose before , might be wise to put a retention to hold in place ! Just a thought !
The hatch is gonna have nitrogen charged shocks on each side that will automatically lift the hatch as soon as the latches are opened. So they are really meant to keep it from automatically opening. Good info about the rattling open. I will probably get a little key chain type hasp like you hook your keys to your belt loop with and keep them in the latch when they are in the locked position.
