- Not my found. The first video with the method I found at this guy • The Crew 2 | Speed Gli... just addapted a bit to the current Summit Skill. There could be various abuse I guess, so I hope devs will fix it asap.

I had the same glitch bug in Unreal Engine while making a game, Sonic went too fast when braking at a certain speed, the engine crashed

I guess they forgot to implement a "negative speed" cap, kinda like in Super Mario 64 where you have a cap going forward but not going backwards.

The problem with that example is, this bug has been demonstrated at least 2 months ago and it is still in the game. People laugh about NFS Heat getting its last patch this week, but The Crew 2 is not really getting any significant patches at all. And no, a achievement system with fancy popups does not count as a significant patch.

I feel like after this batch of summits they need like a week worth of down time to fix all this stuff. Fix all these bugs/glitches, fix all the "back on track issues", fix all the checkpoint shortcuts and things like that instead of spending time creating dumb things like air nitro and new underglows and emotes that noone asked for.

I like how in the entire run, the speed of a maxed drag car was not beaten.
After you complete a drag race if you hold down the accelerater while in reverse you can do some insane speeds

You've pretty much reached air bus speed. This is what driving at that speed will look like.

This reminds me of a Gran Turismo Sport speed glitch xD I’ll never forget the time when I saw a Toyota Pickup going as fast as the Vision GT Tomahawk. 😂 also, do you think the next update (the one they mentioned in the roadmap for this month) will bring all the missing “leaked” cars? I also hope it brings some wild run like improvements to the game. This game really needs it, but I’ve gotten use to the graphics so it’s not so bad now. Snow is still horrible though and I wish it was only in a certain area like The Crew 1. 😑
Agree about snow, it's too much and very often looks not nice even.
About cars not sure, but so far all seems goes with plan, so soon or later they will be released all, i hope so

How often did you tried the glitch? I tried it six times and it doesn't work. I play on the PS4 but some people got the speed glitch here, too. I did it exactly like you…
Not all cars working, so it took few minutes to figure out.
Main thing was the problem when car stopped speed up after 60, but when you take good start/jump then it is works fine.
And dont forget to shift quick and release accel

This appears to have been patched. I tried it in the exact same location, also using the Aventador, but when I land, the car slows down to far below 100, and then behaves similar to in neutral, meaning it will roll very well, but only accelerate downhill, and very slowly lose speed on level ground.

So this is the kind of stuff people are doing to get high positions in the summit and other things. I always had a feeling they were cheating somehow. I hope they fix this soon. Especially before the next summit. I want that car, but I don't want to go up against cheaters to do it.
Well, actually its not really cheating because the game itself gives you the possibility to do it... but i feel you! They cannot reward exclusive Cars (Or sets) in the Summit and expect people to do sh** like this to get it.
It's not proud to use bugs to improve summit score. :(

A tip guys: u need to get speed above 120 kmph for ur car to speed up due to the glitch. Otherwise u only slow down. Hit tht 120 km/h
