Genesis also doesn’t normally understudy Jane, but she stepped into it because there was no way Toby was doing Heart of Stone 😂
Raseon Hansen you mean Courtney? And even if you are referring to Courtney, she and the other alternates are able to go on for any of the queens if needed

Dr Coconut yes sorry. Courtney normally only understudies Catherine of Aragon and Catherine Parr. I saw Genesis’ name in the title so it was on my mind.
Genesis normally is not in the show (but was in the original cast that got recorded), but joined for a few performances.
Raseon Hansen Grace and Courtney swapped back in April so Grace is 1st Aragon/Howard and Courtney 1st Seymour/Parr

Why do they have mic stands and aren’t really doin much choreo?
Jakob Innes because this was a last minute thing and 1/3 of the cast was thrown in that day because someone needed to play those roles. Even if it was the people who literally wrote the show. At least that’s what I understand from the stuff on social media I’ve read
the west end performers got sick/went on holiday and the understudies who were suppose to be there, couldn’t make it. they added in Gen and Toby, an original cast member and a screenwriter for SIX. because they didn’t know the choreo and the lines between the songs all that well, they wanted them to stand w/ mic stands so it didn’t look too awkward.
Imagine Toby having to fill in on Broadway and Brittney not showing any chill in this show modification. You know she's still gonna be bopping around everywhere and Toby would be like "Britt calm down" and she'd say "you calm down, Brit"

WadeRulez 7 It's an adjustment performance I believe because some of the cast are injured/sick/day off.
Maiya and Lexi are on holiday, Natalie and Vicki are sick/injured and Grace is at &Juliet rehearsal, so they couldn't perform and they did a concert version of the show, because Toby and Genesis don't know the choreography and Courtney and Jaye'J were performing even though they're injured, so they couldn't really dance.
Also, Courtney is injured in her ankle slightly

I agree, I think it’s because, like with the Chicago cast, the new actress for Boleyn’s voice doesn’t mix as well with Nat’s as Millie’s does. That’s just an assumption really though because everyone I’ve talked to likes it overlapping, and it gives Nat more solo parts

I love how everyone has their own individual costumes, like the stand-ins have their own looks. But I do feel like the stand-ins costumes aren't as good as the 'cast' y'know? Jus me?
Toby and Genesis’ costumes are the band outfits since they were last minute, usually for Cleves the alternates have like a shorts-and-jacket version of their own costume

alright, so knowing that six was written to also feature non-binary actors... maybe anna of cleves or anne boleyn are a few of my dream roles :)

um, not really. it was written as all females since each queen is historically female. Toby is there because the understudies were on holiday or preforming elsewhere. the actors playing the queen would have to dress female and hit the female sung notes.

The other actresses were all out (sick, on holiday, on other rehearsals) so instead of this performance getting cancelled, Toby stepped in.
Why was Toby Catherine were all the other swings sick or off?
Everyone else was either sick, on holidays or working,so Toby was Parr and Genesis came back to cover Cleves

Kayla's Life Both Genesis and Toby came on very last minute, so there wasn't time to teach both of them the choreo. That's also why they have music stands in front of them.
