It's a completely custom case/electronics that make this thing function just like a landline phone, but smarter. Has a corded phone with the standard tones, hang up mechanism and everything. Literally the only thing missing is the cord connecting to the wall. It's functionally the same. It's just so nostalgic, I'm not sure how anyone can see this thing run and not constantly think of the old landline phones we used to use lol
