- What If...? explores various alternate timelines across the multiverse in which major moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films occur differently, as observed by the Watcher. This band of casts includes Captain Carter, Sinister Strange, Star-Lord, and more!
it's finally here, how exciting! HUGE thanks to all of the participants and helpers and really everyone who supported this project the past year! it was a lot of fun to dip back into the whole "mccu maproject" thing one last time and I'm so proud of everyone's work here!!!
unfortunately, this is my last mccu project. it's been fun! there will be a community post at some point in the near future. regardless, please celebrate the many talents and works of those credited in the video and below!

The MCCU has been a huge part of my life as an animator and artist. I always loved marvel and getting into the stories and movies was how i coped with my childhood trauma and depression. I always drew marvel characters as cats, so finding this community at a young age made me feel not so alone. Watching the heroes map changed everything for me. Thanks to the SCH Au and MCCU, i met amazing people i never knew i would call friends today. Discovered amazing things and even explored who i was as a person. I was a really depressed lonely kid when the community first started and i am glad to say it's one of the things that changed and might have saved my life. Please don't be sad this is the last MCCU Map of ghost bite guys, because we know it now has a loving community that will stay alive. Thank you ghostbite for creating this amazing universe and community and being one of my biggest inspirations. I am honored to be in your last MCCU Map.

Oh my goodness this is INCREDIBLE, I’m so mad I missed the premiere!! Holy cow, it’s so bittersweet watching this. There’s so many MCCU Legends that participated in this MAP, and seeing the way it all came together after so many months of work is amazing!! Thank you everyone for your work, this is an incredible project!!
Knowing this is your last MCCU project is… wow. You’ve been such a pillar of this community, Mal, and such an inspiration without the year. I’m so thankful that I had the chance to work alongside you a few times throughout the MCCU’s rein. I’m so excited to see what you get up to without the expectation of the MCCU dragging on you at all. Thank you for everything, Mal, can’t wait to see the next step. Love you 3000

Mal, you're an awesome host and is a huge impact on the MCCU Community! This is so cool and thank you for letting me participate in this MAP even if it's just the thumbnail contest. I met so many cool people, especially you! You're a huge inspiration in the community and personally you're also one of the reasons why I joined community with your designs and MAPs! YIPPEE HOORAY NEW MCCU GHOSTBITE MAP!!!!!!! this map was honestly breathtaking. its so amazing to see so many older mccu artists return for another marvel map!! i was surprised at how many of the participants i recognized!! fantastic job everyone!! you all did so wonderful with your parts!!

I'm rewatching this and I just once again am so deeply in love with this MAP. Been watching all of the old MCCU maps recently n this to me just feels like such a beautiful encapsulation of it all: truly the best Ghostbite mccu map goodbye

This was so beautiful, I missed What If... and the song choice is totally fitting, perfect for storytelling. I adore this animation's whole aesthetic and atmosphere! We'll miss your MCCUs, ghostbite. Hope you do what you like in life!
