- Hello everyone!
If you have been in the ASMR community for a long time, then you will probably have heard of WhisperCrystal. She was active back at the start of our whispering community and her videos were revolutionary at the time. She was the reason why I started my ASMR channel back in 2010-11.
Many people have said to me that our voices sound similar and that's why I thought I can try to imitate her style and possibly sound like her.

What is ASMR? In case you are wondering, ASMR is a physical sensation characterised by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp. It is commonly triggered by soft or accented voices, personal attention, ambient sounds or watching people work silently.

This original video honest to goodness saved my life one night... I almost killed myself a few years back and I was just crying, and crying and had my headphones in listening to a random playlist on RUclips that I had at the time and somehow the exhaustion and all of the emotion just destroyed any ounce of strength I had left and this was the last thing I remember hearing... I came to a few hours later and realized that I had fallen asleep against ALL ODDS in that state and I realized that I had just somehow made it through the darkest moments of my entire life... And I have used whisper and then ASMR videos everyday since then... Thank you so much for doing this. And if WhisperCrystal is out there somewhere reading this... Thank you.
Oh my goodness. I've only ever told two people about that... Damn it felt good to be able to say that and to say thank you, even in a round-about way. I love this community.

I can't say I have ever felt as low as you must have at that point in your life but I just wanted to say well done for sharing and coming through such a really difficult moment. I loved her videos, she was the first real whisper channel I subscribed to, and for a long time my daily sleeping pill. Somtimes I wish she would come back, her way of talking always made you feel special.

Great idea and tribute to WhisperCrystal. She was great and her videos still stand the test of time. I still listen to her videos on a regular basis. I highly recommend anyone that hasn't listened to her videos to go and check them out.

I started to explore the world of ASMR two years ago, WhisperCrystal's asmr work was the first thing I ever heard after coming across one of her whispered videos on the recommended section titled Learning to love yourself caught my eye.. it was so relaxing and soothing I felt so good!
By that time she had already been inactive on her channel for nearly two years but she continues to attract new audiences and touch people's lives to this day! It was nice to see her name pop and you doing your thing and sounding just as wonderful! It's good know she influenced you, and that she's loved by many.. I have so many of her mp3s to help me fall asleep at night, I miss WhisperCrystal everyday..
You did a great job reproducing this video. You sound so much like Whisper Crystal and you have the same tempo and serenity in your voice. Truly a great job!

I remember Whisper Crystal, and this video in particular. She was like Whispering in Blue, all audio. ASMR work that is specifically sound related has a special quality to it. For some people, myself included, building a scene from description is a strong trigger. Thanks for the sound. Do it again some time.

I miss them both. Both wonderful creators, before it was called ASMR. Good thing is both of their channels are still up for everyone to enjoy. Lots of good ASMR people have stopped, and there were some real good ones in the beginning of this whisper/ASMR thing, but I guess good things can't last forever.

You were the 4th asmrtist I discovered following Whisper Crystal, Lilium candidum27, and Maria GW.. And when you disappeared I remember reading comments just like the WC ones wondering where you'd gone.. And then you came back and there was much rejoicing! this is a wonderful tribute and I'm glad that you stayed when you came back so it could lead to this amazing trip to the past :)

I searched WC just now on the youtube and it does NOT sound anything like you, Cutebunny992. You are one of my fav top 3 ASMR artists. Your voice has these soft and soothing tonalities, that are just perfect for picky asmr listeners like me. Thank you for this video, it's just awesome.

I miss WhisperCyrstal! :( I wonder whatever happened to her. BTW great video! When I first saw it on my feed I nearly freaked out thinking she was back again. It's good to know that others in the community haven't forgotten about her.
She's coming back in August. And she's gonna upload a teaser video to her channel a month before her comeback. The latest thing WhisperCrystal has said is that she's been very busy on an ASMR project that she's been developing for over two years. Something no one has ever done before. Also she said it is incredibly expensive to make. She already developed 26 videos ready to be uploaded when she reveals herself in August.

I appreciate the waves sounds in the background. Normally background noise for ASMR videos is not my cup o' tea, but you controlled the volume just fine and the waves were repetitive and relaxing. Nostalgic, even.

I have convinced myself that they are the same person. Their voices are so similar- especially in this video but really all the time. I've concocted this story in my head about how CuteBunny992 originally secretly had two channels (her own and WhisperCrystal). Then when she understandably went offline a few years ago, she also stopped updating the WhisperCrystal channel. And now that she has been back for a while, this is a pilot project to test whether she wants to bring back the WhisperCrystal channel. Probably just delusions of a wishful dreamer...
