I don't think I would be able to buy that boat, but that sounded good. I am looking in Foley, which I visited in 2021. I was gifted with a retirement trip to Orange Beach by my younger brother May of this year. Stayed on the beach waking up to the relaxation of the sound of the ocean, absolutely breathtaking. I am ready to leave Wisconsin like yesterday, just ready to be gone. Your videos are very inspiring and informative. Thank you
I'm glad they help! Moving down here is peaceful enough within itself, without getting a boat. It'll be so exciting for you! You'll love it ❤️❤️❤️
Will be there to look things over this coming weekend!!
We cant wait to meet yall! 😁
Hopefully one day…
🤞🏽
Two more weeks and we are there,
Woohoo! 🥳 Can't wait to see ya'll as locALs officially!!
I stumbled upon Fairhope as I plan for retirement. It seems like there are a lot of smaller homes 3 beds 2 baths on one level which is what we would want. If it was golf cart friendly that would be great. May have to come down this summer to test out how hot it gets.
That's what a lot of clients do and we help them navigate the area so they're not coming in blind. Fairhope is very golf cart friendly, along with our neighboring communities!
what about Crime? Safety for kids?
It's rated a B and the #1 place to live in our area via niche: www.niche.com/places-to-live/fairhope-baldwin-al/crime-safety/
People in Oklahoma are not happy about the influx of people who are moving here to! My sympathies Fairhope! 😆
😂 we believe it!!
You mean the Florida panhandle isn't part of Lower Alabama? That's what I've heard a lot of folks call it~ 😅
😆 No way! They wish they were this cool!!
Great video
Thanks KJ 😁 You know we try❗️
Sarcasm?
@@LivingInLowerAlabama u welcome
Is it african American friendly there?
It's human friendly to all races and ethnicities! 😃
Hopefully not.
Not if it wants to stay nice.
Um, aren't the summers there BRUTAL?? Just asking what I heard.🤨
Depends on what you can handle, for sure! We can deal with 2 hot months for a beautiful 10 months!!
@@LivingInLowerAlabamaOK, I would definitely call that worth it, I just didn't think it would be that way on the Gulf. The people I know even in ORLANDO say it's 4 if not 5 bad months and the people I know in Boca Raton and Miami say it's even worse there.🤔
@barrypatrickius I believe it! Idk who would want to go that far south lol
@@LivingInLowerAlabama Yes, I know it is farther south, but how comfortable are May and June, and September and October? I am in New York and know people who don't even want to visit their relatives in Georgia, South and even North Carolina in any of those months. Some guy at my job came back from his family in North Carolina at the beginning of June and said it was already too much. He also did July and the last week in August and said except for an actual special occasion/event, never again! How different is Alabama from the southern coast states?
@@LivingInLowerAlabama Ok, Just watched your video, "The Sad Truth About Living In Alabama." Did NOT know you were from Chicago. Like I said, I am from New York--Long Island to be precise; while not mild, our winters are much milder than yours were. It's chilly in the SECOND HALF of the fall but not horrible, It's cold from the second half of December to the first half or to the end of February, so it sounds like pretty much a flip of what you have except mid forties to upper fifties is much more comfortable than the 80's or even the 70's with high humidity. Most of the people I know here are not crazy about weather below the upper 50's but DESPISE humidity and can't take it even in the 70's. They would actually rather have 48 degrees(and definitely 55 degrees) rather than 75-78 degrees(or even 72) with 65% or higher(or even 55%) humidity. How much of the year is actually humid and uncomfortable? I don't mean brutal, like July and August, but still noticeably sticky, humid and uncomfortable?
Way too expensive..nd homeowners insurance is overly priced too..but good luck to u guys
Depends on what you consider expensive. We just sold a brand new build for $270k with homeowners insurance AND property taxes below $900 each. That's over $100k below the average priced home in America!
just dontcome turn alabama into chicago
This is bad for us BAMAS....
Do not move to Alabama if you like to drink. If you get a DUI they will make your life miserable for 6 months to a year. They own you for that amount of time and make you jump through a ton of hoops. Leaving soon
I wouldn't want to get a DUI, anywhere... 😵💫
Sounds like a great sales point for those of us who don't like drunk drivers. Count me in.
Good
