The "Hi-yo Silver, away!" at the end of the show is the recorded voice of Earle Graser, the radio Lone Ranger killed in a 1941 automobile accident. No one could get it down quite as well as Graser did.
Good to hear the very distinctive voice of Thurston Hall (playing Claud Pierce, the Bank Manager). The only other film I have seen him in is Sherlock Holmes Goes to Washington, when he played a very exuberant US Senator.
John D, I recall Thurston Hall in the television show Topper. He was in an amazing number of films - 250 including silent films. I don't know how many are readily available now.
