I am reading Clayton Moore’s autobiography, “I was that Masked Man.” Anyone else who is addicted to these shows should read it to understand more about who he was and what this series us all about. He explains why Tonto was not in this episode.
It goes deeper. Dan is the Lone Ranger's nephew. When he graduates from college he starts a newspaper, has a son name Brit. Brit becomes "the green hornet".
Half a century ago.... and the storyline of corrupt election 🗳 techniques hasn’t really changed much at all. Thanks Enjoy the Lone Ranger show. Memories of younger years.
They make the same mistake in all these episodes. The bullet is just the projectile. What Lone Ranger gave the kid also had a case, primer, and powder. It is a complete CARTRIDGE, not just a bullet. You would think that since fixed ammunition had existed for, in round numbers, roughly a hundred years when these films were made, that the script writers would know better.
A bullet is considered the case, powder, slug all in one makes a bullet. The metal piece that is shot is the slug not bullet, the same out as it was when it was all by itself. Originally you put the powder in a barrel, tramped it down a d then put a metal slug, usually round and made of soft metal.
In 1846, a French made pistol was using a metallic cartridge. By 1857, Smith & Wesson had designed a pistol (Model 1 Revolver) that used a modern style cartridge, much like what we use now. * My source information comes from a "Small Wars Journal" article, published in 2017.
to Kevin: that kid is Barry Curtis, the 'Ricky' of 'Champion the Wonder Horse' my all time favourite from this era, I used to race home to watch Champ 🐎
With all the lone ranger merchandise that was available I'm surprised they didn't come up with a silver bullet 🚅 to sell👑💎👑👑

Years later, Mr. Potter was in the land development business when he ran into a family called Bailey.
Jay Silverheels was recovering from a medical problem (maybe a heart attack and Courtney filled in)
No one sat or rode a horse better than the Lone Ranger.
Jay Silverheels was quite a rider and athlete, too. Nice to see two guys who could ride that well.
I can ride just as well you should seen me on the donkeys in New Brighton😷🐎
