If I am being completely honest, I think it is incredibly well balanced, lots of creators are just showing good clips, and like u said it is pretty situational at times.
Ive watched your streams (hi its ninja) and I'm also having mixed feelings. I see you doing amazing retakes with it, but trying to get onto a site is crazy.
this gun is pretty much the BOSG ACOG from rainbow6, if it performs too well they will just probably nerf its penetration first like in r6, if not they will nerf body dmg to 126 so that it one shots half shields as intented
140 dmg to the body is the only reason it would ever be used. If it was below 125 no one would ever use it. I think its honestly great and wont honestly change much besides light shield being bought on full buy rounds. ( which in my opinion is a good change)
Yeah there's a ton of balanced drawback+advantages with this weapon it's genuinely aired tight for the most part and I am really curious to see how this changes the way economy is looked at and how "annoying" this will truly be. It genuinely felt really normal during all the games I did during testing but did have those getting away with murder moments.
Neo Frontier for sure. Cryostasis or Magepunk could look and sound pretty cool (tho I am a bit biased). Also Minima or Ion I think would fit the Outlaw silhouette nicely.
I reckon 140 is a bit too op they could change it to 135 or 130 because it still does its job which is to remove the light shield meta. It still needs to have a substancial difference from the marshal because of the +1450 cred difference. If they nerf the damage they need to nerf the price.
No this should be added as is, because there are just too many senarios where getting the "light sheild op" will help save rounds when losing easier to win or vice versa because sometimes u dont need a op to take out enemies that are saving with light sheilds. Plus its plenty unique to stand alone its not a washed up op or a reworked marshal its a good weapon that does a specific role well and nothing much outside of it.
Added with 125 or 130 body shot dmg… it still gets rid of light shield meta but at the same time you won’t be 1 shot to classic from 100m or insta die to a Molly, but also still 1 shot to vandal/phantom. 125 or 130 would be perfect
Honestly i feel like, the existence of Outlaw is huge nerf to Operator, in my head its like i have to pay almost double amount of creds for +10hp damage and Op flicks are mostly wallbangs so they don’t even die + Op needs gets out of the jail whereas Outlaw can just double tap so, i feel like they should increase the price, atleast 2.75k would be reasonable. Another thing to back this up is the Guardian is 2.2k and Outlaw being just 200 creds more it does way too much, Double damage, better firerate and SCOPE, so yeah, make it costlier and its fine.
What the hell? I just came back to game after a looong break (Harbour wasn't out the last time I played) and they added a new gun? Damn, I was gone for a long time
I tried the gun and I’m sticking with my sheriff and operator, since I’m not really that good with guns like these I got bodied trying to go for head taps. But even then I would say Body shot dinks are impactful for making the fight easier for your teammates since the person you shot will die in one hit. And in Eco rounds where you almost have no money, do not buy this thing, you will get wrecked.
I’m honestly excited either way. I know a new gun isn’t EXACTLY what we asked for but having seems it’s something that we’ve needed other than a new agent to shake up the meta.
In regards to the skins, Riot said the reason there are no good skins for the outlaw yet is just so players get to play with the gun as early as possible in the season. Skins take time to make, and having released the outlaw with cool skins available would have meant releasing it later. As this gun has meta-shifting potential, they thought it was best to release it now so as to have more time to tune it up or down before the professional events start.
If the problem is centered around the agent having too much kill potential then nerf the agent… imo it’s super cheap winning or losing and having power feels bad it’s a cool weapon but me beating a team at the beginning of a round thinking we’re ahead but have to worry about buying full shield instead sucks and ppl that don’t hit there shots are rewarded btw a leg shot from this thing is 1 point of dmg less than a op I think its second shot should do less dmg if anything but regardless dope weapon funny but unfun if you get it
The outlaw isn't going to change valorant that much. One player per team could buy this on second round after a win to force the enemies to full save in order to buy full sheilds for 3rd round, but other than that the marshal is just better. I dont think people realise that this gun isnt an eco weapon, it is an alternative to basically a vandal or phantom. And people love rifling. So this will only ever be bought on second round, possibly against ecos, and the last round in a half if the most of the enemies have 3300-3800 credits.
we dont need this gun, what we need is a full auto sniper that you can spray and kill but bullets deals less damage, also the gun has very few bullets so you can just keep spraying, you have to be very good at tracking to get kills for this , and you need atleast 3 headshots to kill someone
TBH, this gun should cost a little bit more. It seems really busted as an anti eco weapon. It is supposed to just kill the half shield meta and it should do that and only that.
the thing im really curious about is this gun's interaction with the guardian. like both gun has their benefits and draw backs, but most of the time when i hear people talking about the guardian they usually say its a good weapon against light armor bc 2 shot to body is a kill. obv the fire rate and mag size of the guardian is a lot better than the outlaws, but idk i feel like the guardian might lose its place in the game.
the reason isnt sounds othwerwise we would have it in the battlepass the reason they are doing these trash skins is so people buy the only skins it has because if there was kuronami outlaw nobody would buy the ego or prism so they are taking advantage of that fact its just marketing
i feel like light shield meta will be dead for like 2 weeks but once the outlaw only kids realise that a gun wont make them radiant light shield will be good again
Guardian is more consistent and cheaper, and just buy a rifle if you have the money. The op is just objectively better if you are buying a sniper anyways against rifles. Only will be good on bonus/anti eco rounds.
bringing auto sniper into the game is just stupid. with that fire rate it should be at least 3400 not 2400. or the auto sniper should be priced at 5500 even higher than the op.
feel like so many people whine about it and think it's op but it's literally a slightly better marshal, being nearly double the price, it's perfectly balanced and yet people will make it get nerfed
It wouldn't shock me if the Outlaw gets either 126 damage, higher recoil, or both. I think they wanted to make it slightly overtuned to make sure people use it a lot to get lots of data.
Personally, I think it is WAYY too overpowered this price point. People/Sniper mains will just get no guns/abilities first or second round regardless of win/loss. Riot created a balance that wasn't needed. The price is way too close to the marshal's price but WAY better. Competitive in low ranks will be ruined from smurfs that are abusing the Outlaw. It is broken. Way too broken. Riot has to up it's price to 3000+ or the low ranks will be ruined.
??? So people who main awping finally have that gun on par with rifles and that's bad? Or the fact that they threw two rounds to get it? A Smurf will beat you with any gun... Not because of the gun but their mechanics and game knowledge. At 3000+ why would you buy a two shot sniper when you can buy rifle and util???
Looking at this gun further, I believe they should lower the price and make it do exactly 125 to the body. 2400 creds for a gun that is only going to be used mid-game is high risk. To make it balanced, I believe making the gun's price start at 1800-2000 creds and rise slowly after every round is a good idea.
Question for you, (yes this is a copy paste just thought I’d see if anyone actually has any thoughts) 1. What benefit are you getting from being left with 25 health are you thank with 10 health. Please think it through. People just throw random numbers around and expect it will change anything. Do you really think getting that 15 extra health will help you? I want you to look through weapons and damage and decide that. 2. By reducing the price what impact does this have on eco rounds? By making an anti-eco weapon that makes light shields easy to destroy available for the same price as a spectre and light shield. By reducing the price so much where it can feasibly be bought fine on second round. Let’s say I win first round, +3000 credits minimum. Maybe more from kills plants Yada yada ect ect From this I buy the outlaw and more, with full abilities and some credits to spare. It would snowball a lot, basically making first round more impactful as it becomes a necessity for the enemies to save up for a proper full buy with heavy shield (obv not gonna get heavy shield with like a ghost or smth, due to your teammates being able to win proper engagements from better weapons) Basically this could result in a snowball from pr win just stacking up creds. In essence if you are too lazy to read, I’ve copy pasted all of this from post to post because I’ve seen the same points over and over, but essentially by reducing damage to 125 it changes like nothing, so why advocate for it, I mean it doesn’t change much at all. The extra damage just makes it slightly better for wall bang which a pricier gun would want ideally. And the reduction below 125 makes it invalid for the purpose it’s meant to be of a light shield and eco round fighter. Reducing the price only makes it more annoying and easier for winning team to buy second round. Maybe even with heavy shield aswell to just get an easy engagement.
NOPE the point of this weapon is that 1 shots light armour, to deal with current pro meta, if its any less then their is no reason to buy this over a marshal as it out preforms the outlaw in almost every state, you don't understand the game at all
This would be the worst change possible. You just make a marginally better marshal for more than double the price. The whole point is to force people into heavy shield on full buy rounds
Hey Justin, is this being added as a 3rd "sniper" or is it replacing marshal? Only just got back into Val and this is the first ive heard about it, thanks!
I think lowering the body shot amount to 125 would be a good idea. I believe one of the design choices with the outlaw is that it can one shot someone in the body through light shield, something the marshal can't do. Lowering the body shot damage to 125 or 126 would preserve this while leaving a bit more health than 140 does so you can't be one shot by much else.
You still kind of die from anything at 25 health. Like I’d say the only difference is that like a molly won’t instantly kill you, but even so like if I’m shooting soneone with the outlaw in not pulling out a molly mid fight to throw it at you. The difference of going from being at 10 health left to 25 doesn’t change like anything
Question for you, (yes this is a copy paste just thought I’d see if anyone actually has any thoughts) 1. What benefit are you getting from being left with 25 health are you thank with 10 health. @@user-de8yf4jk1c the only time I see this having any sort of use being bumped up would be being 2 shot to the legs with a classic from full shield You would still get one tapped to the body with the classic, nothing much has changed really. If you have heavy shields going from 10 health left to 25 wouldn’t change much at all
Hopefully with the release of a new gun for the first time we might get a second one possibly, now that we know they can do it and will do it maybe they will add a new pistol that would be fun
I think changing the marshall price to outlaw would be a good idea and buffing the marshal a bit, nerfing the outlaw to 130 body shot. This way i think it makes more sense to buy this gun and proceed to buff marshall than op
make it a bolty and remove the 2 100% accurate double tap. one shot for 140 before having to reset does the job of punishing light shield buys without letting a 2400 weapon be more effective than it should be. this gun isn't amazing strong or braking the game, but it does well in situations it shouldn't. they nerfed the guardian many times due to the versatility it offered at a discount price back in the early acts, but riot needs to sell skins for its new toy so it has to be popular for now.
being able to shoot 2 bullets one after the other right away with little delay and each bullet does 140 dmg is sooooooo over powered its literally a cheap op %90 of the time during the game you WILL take 10 chip dmg be it from util be it from a gun it will kill you %90 of interactions completely busted
the light buy is actually fucked with this, the vandal with light armor used to be my staple to save on creds because its always 4 to body and 1 to head heavy armor didnt make a difference but with this that is fucked
Just make it a flat 125 or even 130… still 1 shot to rifles after 1 outlaw shot but won’t insta die to a Molly or cross map classic shots, and with 125-130 then it’s still contesting the light shield meta
A new gun sounds awesome i respect you think 140 is to much but they have to atleast make it do 125 to the body and if not it kinda just ruins the point of a new sniper
For any sniper player this outlow is op than the operator Just 2400 238head 140body 119legs Plus double tap in one snipe per zome Operator 4700 250head 150body 120leags Double zome . This outlow make gurdener and operator so useless and if u buy them u wast ur money
if they were to nerf the damage they might as well take it out the game cause the marshal will be better as they'd both be 2 body shots to kill but marshal has more ammo and better hipfire with faster reload
You need to realize that if rifles werent in the game and were being added people would say theyre extremely op and they would dominate every game in comperison to other weapons which is why you need a GOOD gunnwith an actuall use in order to replace it by buying outlaw heavy insteqd of vandal light..
Its going to be nerfed to 2900 for the buy, same as vandel/phantom. It would balance it I think, create a delema in what to purchase/ maybe like 2800 or slightly less.
Honestly i feel like it’s fair. It’s a sniper, it should deal substantial damage. 140 MIGHT be a bit much but at the same time feels right because the Phantom - a rifle - deals 140 at a certain range. Why shouldn’t a sniper deal the same, if not more, damage?

Maybe more from kills plants Yada yada ect ect
From this I buy the outlaw and more, with full abilities and some credits to spare. It would snowball a lot, basically making first round more impactful as it becomes a necessity for the enemies to save up for a proper full buy with heavy shield (obv not gonna get heavy shield with like a ghost or smth, due to your teammates being able to win proper engagements from better weapons)
Basically this could result in a snowball from pr win just stacking up creds.
@@user-de8yf4jk1c the only time I see this having any sort of use being bumped up would be being 2 shot to the legs with a classic from full shield
You would still get one tapped to the body with the classic, nothing much has changed really.
Jett: E + right click + left click + E + C + R + right click
Konami insta kill code
being able to shoot 2 bullets one after the other right away with little delay and each bullet does 140 dmg is sooooooo over powered its literally a cheap op %90 of the time during the game you WILL take 10 chip dmg be it from util be it from a gun it will kill you %90 of interactions completely busted
the light buy is actually fucked with this, the vandal with light armor used to be my staple to save on creds because its always 4 to body and 1 to head heavy armor didnt make a difference but with this that is fucked
Just make it a flat 125 or even 130… still 1 shot to rifles after 1 outlaw shot but won’t insta die to a Molly or cross map classic shots, and with 125-130 then it’s still contesting the light shield meta
for the worse bro im quitting bc of thats hit
A new gun sounds awesome i respect you think 140 is to much but they have to atleast make it do 125 to the body and if not it kinda just ruins the point of a new sniper
now low elo lobbies are about to get hard
So pretty much healers are dead thanks to this gun. "Here, let me top off your health"
Proceeds to get body shot or leg shot.
they'll nerf it after many dope skins comes out, then after it'll be an okay weapon
what i dont see yall mentioning is that healer meta is going to change
can the legend reply?
yo
because of outlaw people will use sage and skye way more
Reminds me of CS autosnipers
Valorant finally got its gay gun
Should be valued 1900
NO it is a better marshal
What a waste of video
its a boss g from r6!
For any sniper player this outlow is op than the operator
Just 2400
238head
140body
119legs
Plus double tap in one snipe per zome
Operator
4700
250head
150body
120leags
Double zome
. This outlow make gurdener and operator so useless and if u buy them u wast ur money
I wish they put a silencer gun case i love these tipes of guns mor that normal or splash or sniper ones
if they were to nerf the damage they might as well take it out the game cause the marshal will be better as they'd both be 2 body shots to kill but marshal has more ammo and better hipfire with faster reload
balanced.
That Yugioh Duelist of the roses song though
Game is the goat
I recongize this thumbnail
Legend
Make it a 1 bullet with reload even faster than marshal that would be fun
I think a replay system would really change valorant
