For anyone that's wondering about ink coming off or smearing after print I would highly suggest looking into lamination a clear lamination or any design lamination will make it look better and protect it from damage
Lamination is the way.
PSA: ink scratches off very easily. Not ideal for putting on the back of a phone and pocketing that phone. Out of every glossy inkjet sticker paper test on the internet, no one does the finger nail test. Simply drag the back of your hand across the sticker, lightly, so that the nails drag across it (not a frontal scratch). This simulates light abrasion rather than a deliberate scratch.

Good point. Cover it with laminate and no scratches.
@@FamilyUnitalso one way you can make it better is using a clearcoat spray. It has a little bit of a different effect, depending on which one you use. But it will definitely keep it from getting scratched.

I can't believe you rinsed it under water and the color didn't run! The sticker is still on my laptop! Koala makes some excellent sticker paper.

The heat from the machine sets the ink onto that without a spray like we have to use into so color doesn't run for making labels onto soap and shampoo containers... Thanks

Do you have a inkjet printer like the kind that sets ink with heat like thermo ink?
I don't. I'm using an Epson Expression inkjet printer.
Great video. I’ve unfortunately have been having trouble using this type of paper. I’m using a Cannon Inkjet printer and every time I print something with this paper, the image shows up unclear and not even complete. Smudges very easily. Do you have any tips about the ink or the paper I’m using?
We've had great success with the Koala brand. We did just get a new ink jet printer. I"ll have to test it out and see if we have any issues and let you know.
Does the printer ink have to be dye or can it be pigmented ink?
Not really sure how to answer that Eduardo. We used plain old inkjet ink, whatever that is!
Pretty sure it's dye ink. Pigmented ink only stays on the surface and is not suitable for gloasy printing

hey is this to use as a bike sticker? If not then why?
You could use on a bike. If you want it to be super waterproof, cover it with laminate before cutting then put on your bike.
why is the paper sticky after printing?
Haven't experienced that. Maybe the ink it's dry?
Days later touch the paper and it can be tacky. Wipe it with a soft cloth tackiness goes away. Can't find anyone else dealing with it. use hp smart tank ink jet
