Also, if you want there is a front loop sling adapter available that also has a weaver rail on it to mount a flashlight. It screws in between the magazine end cap and the forearm grip, no modification necessary. Here's a link: www.gggaz.com/remington-870-sling-and-flashlight-combo-mount.html
They make a screw stud for this, I have it in my first intro video. Theres a link in the description. If that one is not the one you want, you can easily hunt one down. Do harm if you are replacing the screw with another screw.
I installed the ATI T3 Tactical Stock and it fits perfectly. It mounts to multiple gun platforms but the Tristar Raptor fits with no modifications required. A must have for the Citadel. Good luck!
@@AMCITADEL I saw right after i posted the question. the challenge is that I'm in Jersey and we are not allowed to have a pistol grip on a semiauto shotgun :(
A Franchi 500 buttstock and forearm will fit this weapon with minor modification. Longer buttstock mounting bolt the sling adapter from this video. I hope this helps 👍
What Dalton said. Sometimes you will see some (the ones from China) listed as an 11mm to 20mm adapter - same thing. I found one on Amazon for $13 delivered. EDIT: This is the one that I found: Low Profile Dovetail to Weaver adapter amzn.to/3u7a3Xc
From my research, all of the available rear sling points have some sort of protrusions meant to match holes in the receiver or buttstock of the shotgun it was designed for. The Warthog has a flat receiver and buttstock making the install impossible without modifications to either the sling point or the receiver/buttstock. The reason I chose this particular sling loop adapter was it appeared to be the easiest to modify to fit the needs of the Warthog. I am not saying that a flat-sided rear sling loop adapter does not exist, but I personally was unable to find one during my rather extensive searching. Perhaps one day someone will offer a version specifically designed for the Warthog, but as it is not a mainstream shotgun this may take a while. Until then, the adapter designed for the Remington Versa Max seems to be the best option.
You could contact Legacy Sports and see if they can sell you one. I'd bet that there's probably some sort of aftermarket replacement part, but I have never looked for one.
So, I got the GrovTec Sling Swivel Stud Pack 7/8" Machine Screw with Nut, 3/4" Wood Screw. But, it doesn't appear that the wood screw included will fit in the screw hole where I removed the screw that holds the buttstock in. Just have to force it?
@@AMCITADEL - Thanks. I ended up getting it in. Just had to force it a little. (that didn't sound kid friendly) I also purchased the mag tube extension and plan to install it this weekend.
@@AMCITADEL - I just ended up going with the 7+1. Mainly because I like the looks a little better than the longer tubes extending almost to the end of the barrel or further. If it had a longer barrel altogether, I would have gone with more capacity. By they way. Thanks so much for these videos. Without them, I would have no idea what I'm doing.
Hey guys, PLEASE remove the ratchet when the bolt/screw is loose or when restarting a bolt, no matter what you're working on and use the extension to screw in or out. This enables you to remove the fastener a lot quicker and more importantly let's you line up your work easier to keep from crossthreading. This also helps keep a hand on the work and the other on the tool. Otherwise it's two hands on the ratchet until it's completely loose or trying to start the bolt and that's just not how to do it.
@@silentwolf637 I honestly don't remember, I just picked out the bit that was just large than the hole on the back side. To be honest, any bit large than the hole will work, its just to drill out the tabs.

Great video
Thanks@
Thanks for the disassembly of the stock, most vids don’t show you how to remove it.
You are welcome 😎
Just put on my rear sling loop. And I got the tube extension. It took a few weeks for the sling loop to come in. Thanks for the videos. 👍🏽.

What parts work for this gun ?
I have a list of all the parts that I know work with this gun in the description. I have other videos working on installing most of them.
I gave $180 for one and I want to put a 2 point sling on mine
Will it hurt if I drill and put i swivel stud in the end cap?

Is there a shorter stock that’s compatible to this bad boy
Nothing that I have found yet, bit I'm still looking. If you find one before I do, let me know!

I live in California also. I got it shipped to me from sportsmansguide . Com so.... good luck.
So what would happen if that plastic buttstock breaks for whatever reason how would you replace it?
You could get a replacement buttstock from legacy sports and then just unscrew the broken one and screw the new one back on. 5 minutes of work.
What Stock would fit on the warthog if we want to Change it?
Someone here posted that the ATI T3 universal stock fits almost perfectly. I'm ordering one and I'll post an installation video soon.

Can you change the sights on this shotgun???
Not sure if the front post is removable or not. There is only a front blade sight, no rear sight.
The Hi-Viz front sight works great with it though.
Can we install any rear sling point
