It's both funny and sweet how in the Future Chapter, it's implied Professor Toei somehow got the events of this chapter adapted into a successful anime that Cube's creator is a fan of.
@@matthewmarkiewicz5206 I mean in Future chapter I think Cube's creator has some merch I think that reference this chapter, implying the professor from this chapter likely got the events adapted somehow
Many people probably don't realize how insane SE went with remaking this chapter. The original version's chapter was already enough of a homage to mecha anime genre, but they went up to 11 here. Not only we have Hironobu Kageyama singing the theme song, we literally have the modern VAs for Koji Kabuto and Ryoma Nagare voicing Akira and Matsu respectively. Also, as an added bonus, Hiroya Ishimaru, classic Koji's VA, voices the Earthen Heart Shifu in the JP version.
feels surreal that the on-screen lyrics in the original are now actually sung by Kageyama himself. I always loved the Near Future chapter and they really did it justice in the remake. Best part is the shout of "BABYLOOOON KIIIIIIIICK" at 2:03.
"Suppose... If one day you suddenly possessed superhuman power... How would you use that power? Would you become a Devil and destroy the world? or would you become a hero to protect it...? @@krimsonkatt Yeah I haven’t really put time into JRPGs. My friend actually got me live a live for Christmas so I could try one. Idk when I’ll have time to try another one, but the experience live a live gave me was definitely a memorable one!

Finally, full version of this wonderful OP❣ One of LAL chapters, Near Future is the best chapter of all! It feels like based on elements of 70s - 90s mecha anime(Mazinger Z, Tetsujin 28, & Giant Robo) & Kamen Rider, too. And it really deserved to make a spin-off game of this chapter!!(As action-adventure)
If I had a nickel for everytime one of my favorite RPG‘s (and favorite Games in general) had a similar sounding Track based on Gundam animes, I‘d have two nickels (Live a Live and Xenoblade 2) …which isn‘t a lot but it‘s weird that it happened twice
I finally played this chapter today. Don’t get me wrong, like all the rest, it’s damn good, I loved the Steel Titan segment, and it has elements that I think it did better compared to the other chapters (except Middle Ages, but that’s because I haven’t played it yet), but I’m not as crazy about it as everyone else. Maybe Mecha anime just isn’t my thing.

Yeah. I understood that they didn't want to play the vocal versions for when Akira tried to launch Buriki Daioh, but the part where Matsu gets to pilot it and later Akira goes wild in it on Yamazaki's army begged to have the full vocal version.
