- How about a dose of the Summer blues? G3 Sportsman Scott Turnage does a four pole drift for blue catfish that are roaming the shallow flats gorging on shad.

Thanks for another episode of G3 Sportsman. I follow you on all social media. Cant wait to get out and try some Summer Time Blues or Summer Time Catfishing. I am over 4 hours from Truman Lake. I was out there on Father's Day weekend at Buck Saw Resort and Marina. Great place.
Great job Scott. Enjoyed the 17’ G3 and the BnM poles also. Good fishing info too. Thanks for sharing with us, Fred.
Got to love Catfishing with The G3 Sportsman great show brother
Your side rods are catching all the fish because your so shallow..fish right under the boat are spooked... Shallow water Drifting is perfect candidate for planner boards.. Love the show
Makes perfect sense!!
Absolutely fantastic video very nicely done
I have a Sportsman 1710 and I absolutely love it! This is my 4th boat and is my favorite of them!
Took a bass fisherman buddy of mine out fishing on Milford, KS the other day because he had never caught a blue cat. I'm sure he had visions of tippy tap bites from channel cats, like we used to catch on his old farm pond. The first fish was a nice 15 pounder, and nearly ripped the rod out of the holder. He may have hooked that fish, but that fish sure as hell hooked him more.
That is awesome!
I really like that net!
Great Video!!!!!
Woww nice you always got big fish GOOD job GUYS 🥰😊😍
A lot of fun thanks for sharing
You had a Chinese fire drill going on. Looked like a blast
Nice video 👍 I'm Waseem from Pakistan
This is my favorite time of year to drift.
If I could only find that shad delivery service..... 🤔🤔
I'll have to give you the number for my shad delivery guy LOL
Looks like B'n'M Elite rods?
Witch lake was you at nice cat fish
Truman Lake MO
OK? Lake that gets shallower when there's not enough rain but its been stalked with blues and other fish.?
You’re catching fish on the side rod because you’re so shallow. You’re spooking the fish directly below the boat. You’d probably be catching even more if you were running planers.
Scott if you was in shallow water the boat was scaring them on back rods
Makes sense. Thanks!
You still using ugly stik catfish rods?
I still have and use my Ugly Stiks. This trip I tried out some BnM Silver Elites. I like them.
