The old you will be erased and the new one will shine with God's and infinite beauty.Sister Skass makes Jesus' words teachable and memorable. He becomes a father and a friend. No longer a distant God. Just a very loving one. We are truly fortunate!
I'm not religious since religion was muddled for me when I was young. I'm half Jewish, half Presbyterian Christian in lineage, bur my family is spiritual at best. Watching from my point of view, the importance of being selfless and loving seems so especially important. It makes me realize that i shouldn't do selfish things - like "want." I want a house that I can live in with my future children and husband safely - full of nature and light, but I'm renting a perfectly good condo in the city. I want a new jacket because my jackets are not glamorous and some don't suit me like they did when I was younger, but my jackets still shield me from cold and weather, and having multiple is a privilege. More than anything I want the generations of my family to love each other more and want to spend time with each other. This talk made me realize that I need to be the change to that kind of want. I can't just want and not do anything. That leads to suffering not just for me, but prolongs the suffering of my family. I should be selfless and sacrifice my own happiness, if just for the time bringing everyone's love back.... so that xmas isn't an 'obligatory holiday' and that phone calls and visits don't get sighed at by people who don't want to be judged by their kin.

Invite Jesus into your broken heart and let the fire of His Holy Spirit begin to heal the broken and weak parts within you. Let our God do what only God can do for us. Just ask Jesus and you will receive His healing Presence come. I did and Jesus came to me and healed me. I love you and will pray for you Emma - Jesus lives!.
