Viofo are truly a different class when it comes to quality, i used to use NextBase but purchased a A119 V3 recently and it was worth every single penny.
Hey mate. Great you think the same with Viofo. And compared to some of the others I've covered, this is about as good as I've seen for 4k quality, other are trashy. The first firmware was over sharpened and not good, but this new firmware update it looks so much better and I used the top birate.
@Techtablets bang on, yeah Viofo seems to have a thing for oversharpening same happened with the A229 Pro and VS1 but they always come good pretty soon after release. Nearly 100mbps bitrate for the A329 - simply the best in the game :)
Which dashcam would you recommend for front and rear, number plate readability in night and auto recording when parked if someone crashes into the car are the important features for me. Thanks in advance

Starvis 2 is a minimum for plate readability at night (HDR has to be turned on) so anything with a Sony IMX675 or IMX678. however manufacturers seem to differ between how they do their image processing and their processors themselves, in my experience viofo are the best of the crop.
I just got the A229Plus... $150 during black friday. This one looks much better but out of my budget sadly.. Great video as always.. too bad other car manufacturers have not caught up with Tesla's sentry mode.. bit baffling btw super unrelated, whatsapp isn't working most of the time on huawei phones now without Google Play... I saw you're using a Honor foldable. wondering if you know of a workaround. Thanks!
A229 Plus I heard is still a very good model. The car has a parking guard mode that takes images but yes nothing as good as the Tesla sentry mode. And have a paid 720p dashcam app is a joke as the camera is high res. As for the Honor V3 I use it is the global version so no such issues. Whatsapp with GBox/Gmicro not working now?

@@Techtablets Yes sentry mode and teslas dashcam mode in my model 3 highland are awesome but i'm still installing a viofo dashcam, as teslas dashcam mode will only save max 10 minutes (5mins before and after) when it detects an accident or when you tell it to (i have it set to save when i press the horn). so no substitute for a dashcam.
There's Chigee brand but their XR-3 model is only 2K/55fps in the front and 1080p at the back but their system is quite complete with their own dash and a tire pressure sensor monitoring system included in their kit esp for BMW bikes..

Hi it also comes with the stardard car charger so you’ll fine. You shouldn’t need a new car battery unless you want to hardwire it and your battery is old and on the way out. This one right here is something good definitely one of the better ones.
Correct, but then you have to press play all the time and not auto start. The battery wont last long trips, GPS and speed info is not embedded into the video. And you're going to drive daily with a big pole sticking up in the air with the Insta 360 camera?

Then I get comments saying now it’s xyz price etc. The last video I mentioned the price but it’s bound to change. The phones I cover we don’t know the price until the launch event I only have a ballpark figure. Apologies

I'm still rocking the great VIOFO A119S from 2017. It records 2560x1440p @ 30fps and it hasn't missed a beat.

It’d be nice if they added in an automated way to switch from 4K 60 to 4K 30 with HDR for when it gets dark.
I loved the camera and the video quality but that I've seen the price 🥹 my entire 1995 Seat Ibiza is only worth €1000...

Yes HDR was on for the plates at night good tip. And I agree so far this seems to be the clearest I've seen in a very longtime.

Can you install something like this on a motorcycle? No 60fps dash cams for motorcycles
