To recover I usualy try to set up for sohaya on my second turn to summon back my chidori if they managed to get rid of it. Also Tri - Brigade revolt is awesome for the deck since Rugal that you summon of it can give you a card from grave back to your hand and if you use pinaki from your grave for the trap you get an additional search at the end phase since you send him back to the grave when link summoning.
I seriously wish this would eventually a more common event (no pun intended) because this is the closest feeling to OG Yugioh,You legit have to strategize and use what little brain cells ya got left to win

fun fact, there is a searcher continuous spell for for Boot-Up Admiral Dynamo called Boot-Up Order Gear Change. Also Boot-Up Order Gear Force is Mirror Force when you or your opponent declares and attack while you control only face-up machine monsters. It's pretty strong for the Gadget deck!
@@AlphaSquadZero The OP is talking about *TWO* different cards, “Boot-Up Order - Gear Charge” and “Boot-Up Order - Gear Force.” The first is a continuous spell and the last is a normal trap. The trap card is the card that acts like a Mirror Force.
So many good decks to pick from this festival. I'm playing Counter Trap Fairies with Fluffal (Dog/Bear/Wing/Vendor) + Star Seraph (Stick/Chair) engine for draw. Condemned Witch is like playing 3 more copies of Bountiful Artemis, but it also searches Forbidden Chalice/Dress on NS which is nice. Counter Traps available are Seven Tools, Magic Jammer, Forced Back and Negate Attack. Can also play Divine Wrath if you don't mind the discard. End game I just search Forbidden Dress with Condemned Witch and then banish it for CED which is S/T immune because of the Dress so I can reliably resolve the CED wipe. Also a really generically splashable guard this format for going 2nd is Guan Yun. It's Cyber Dragon summon condition and you can OPT pop a card if opponent has more monsters, really nice.
Hey man we're almost running the same star seraph build. Added the chaos monsters to the deck as well (chaos sorc and ced). Im using the dangers engine to have a bit of extra draw power
Big bruh. The event is (eventually) going to get "figured out" (if it isn't yet) and everyone is going to run "the same deck with no creativity" just for the sake of getting gems. "new combos" will get "old" when this happens and your complain of "everybody keeps playing the same deck nowdays" will arise. So quit the game and move on or see what *you* can may possibly *do* to counter other's strategy and keep playing. Bot.
@@osotnasrabka broken line is insane and needle ceiling is awesome because it doesn’t destroy any face down monsters. There’s the world legacy traps with some good synergy, TT is always good too and I also play dinomischus. Let me know if you find any other good traps. The deck lowkey takes too long to kill with cause there aren’t many ways to get damage on board so that’s my issue with the deck right now.

I'm going to play Burning Abyss this event too probably ahah. Cir, Alich, Lake, Traveler, Virgil are still there as well as Fiendish Rhino Warrior, Fiend Griefing, Torrential, Dinomischus and a lot of great generic rank 3. Any ba, even the less used ones are still great extender But of course I'm going to experiment something different too as I already play them for the xyz event

Be more resource efficient than your opponent and end up winning in the long game The resource management that usually is made of Graf, Cir, Scarm and Dante is replaced by Cir, Traveler, Virgil, Cagnaz (pseudo-Scarm sending the ritual spell), Draghig. The deck has also access to a way to deal with any threat thanks to a good rank 3 toolbox (DDD King Stone Darius and Virtual World - Jaja can out altmost any monster and Super Quantal Mech Beast Grampulse do the same for spell/trap). Also, number 48 and mechquipped angineer by having a quick effect can be used to trigger easily Alich in the opponent turn if you have Cir, Alich itself or Fiendish Rhino Warrior as material. Take note that I will also adjust the deck in the future days based on how it will perform

One card I think gunna surprise alot of people is swords of Concealing light. Its doesn't target and it can break boards so you can play. Biggest problem tho is the set mst or trap on activation.

I built a trap monster deck with Ibicella Lutea, Scrum Force, Begone Knave, Statue of Anguish Pattern, Tiki traps, etc. Magic Planter is also basically the only draw 2 card available for the event that isn't ass. I think it's gonna be pretty nasty. Scrum Force and Ibicella protect from targeting and protect each other, and almost all of the generic monster removal and negaiton in this format requires a target.
Sure. This is just for the N/R event. You can replace the hands with more trap monsters and other stuff if you want, I just wanted an excuse to run hands. Extra deck can be whatever you want, Quantum Cat and Swamp Mirrorer give you some flexibility as to what you can put in there. Great video! There is a pretty competitive looking Prank Kids Engine I want to try for this event but the Cyber Dragon deck you had looked fun also. Nice to see MST becoming a 3x card again xD
I think Retaliating "C" could be pretty useful, it gives a Macro Cosmos like effect when special summoned by its effect, which is a spell cards that summon trigger. So that's everything from generic fusion and ritual cards to making tokens to popping an Area Zero. And when it leaves the field you can search out one of the other handtrap "C"s, though those are a lot more niche, most of them cover specific summon types(and there's no Maxx "C" for the format). A shame you can't also search their 2k beater or bug equipping boss monster with it, but it is what it is. Battle Fader is also pretty nice, depending on what strategy you're running ending a battle phase might just give enough tempo to win you the game(and you can trigger your own Torrential Tribute with it if need be).

so i have realized that you can play venderead and this is probably the best environment for it. i don't know how good it is but you have the og ritual and all the main deck monsters that give you the effects and something like samurai skull to get to your ritual and if you get a target protected 3400 atk can banish a monster monster you probably can win with that.
Giantball park is a solid deck for this event. resonance insect is a normal rare and the level 8 "C" monster can be searched by it, which synergizes nicely with the strategy.
As a bit of a gag, I added a Cyber Angel Idaten to my Megalith deck to counter the big attack values. It's hilarious to do cause you can just recure your monsters with portal and emergence and continuously tribute Idaten. I ended a game with Phul at 6k attack.
I wish this format could stick around as an option, building for it is really fun. Obviously Metalfoes is really strong, but otherwise it's such an interesting format
Other than Metalfoes seeming very oppressive, the format seems sick. I’d love it if it stayed as a budget format so you can enjoy the game without heavy investment in staples or UR engine cards

I’m running Krawlers, (besides generic food UR’s the entire main deck Krawler package I would normally run is N/R anyways. You just miss out on Links but there are some other Links and rank 2 XYZ’s that are good after you’ve used the flip effects for the Krawlers.
I feel as though Blackwing could also be used in this format. Some good Blackwings can still be used and Delta Crow - Anti Reverse just gets me thinking because it's basically a Harpies Feather Duster so long as you have a Blackwing
Cyber dragon build you could add power bond and the fusion monster to summon would ve pair cycroid which can attack directly and is also level 5 so not a dead card after attacking
made a metalfoes deck following this. Haven;t played a lot but for now can;t help but feel that it's ability to counter enemy board is pretty weak (though its incredible for n r), wondering if some torrential tributes should be added
majespecter is actually decent, they are all immune to Vishuda, Book and chalice while also all being stratos's on summon for a different type of majespecter card
@@WarpedByTheNHK yeah, you'd mainly be relying on the madolche S/T to put in the work, salon can fill in for messengelato and ticket can fill in for magilene
@@Okarin_Time_Wizard it seems like a pretty weak strategy still. Which of the low rarity madolche monsters can even easily trigger the spells? If you can't trigger them going first, then there is no way to search the trap turn 1.
@@Thatoneguy48147 Thank you, I was curious because, I had DNA surgery activated turned my opponents 2 monsters to Machine, and had my Cyber Dragon summoned, but could not special summon Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, so not sure what went wrong. Didn't notice any hindering effects on the board.
@@Azure_Six it could be that you couldn’t send them to the grave. All materials need to be able to hit the grave in order to summon Fortress or even Megafleet. Thats why if anything would get banish instead (by their own effect or another) they cant be used as material for it
Ive been practicing the Megalith deck in some of the practice rooms and i can say that i understand 100% why Konami hit megalith even with the limitations it's still super consistent and really op i even managed to beat metalfoes draco
What do yall think about six sam's for this event? They have alot of cards i feel could work against the pend deck im sure we'll see. Plus they flood the field very well for rank 4 spam for removal. Love to hear thoughts about this. Great video as always lith!
I’ll die on this hill but timelords are the most op n/r deck possible I smack regular decks with it and the rage quits just roll in the second I summon one
I just build a metalfoes deck, my idea is to go second and try to otk with two of the fusion monster that have double piercing damage. I also have the rank 4 super quantum if i can afford to summon and force something to defense
could I recommend actually showing all the cards. a lot of those you had in the first deck i've never seen before and won't see because you didn't show them

If you play Kaiju, you can use Jester Confit as support. It can bounce a special summon monster back to hand.

What is the second target for Draglubion in these decks? I only see Number 92. But you need two Dragon Number Monsters with different names.

I would watch out for Majespecters as well, even though they are vulnerable to pendulum zone disruption.
Danger Dark World Fabled really explosive but rely on the RNGesus. I include paleo package as well and it's quite good.

I wish this format could stick around as an option, building for it is really fun. Obviously Metalfoes is really strong, but otherwise it's such an interesting format
Other than Metalfoes seeming very oppressive, the format seems sick. I’d love it if it stayed as a budget format so you can enjoy the game without heavy investment in staples or UR engine cards
Majespecters pure is decent but majespecter with another pendulum engine is great gives them the ability to drop bigger monsters

I’m running Krawlers, (besides generic food UR’s the entire main deck Krawler package I would normally run is N/R anyways. You just miss out on Links but there are some other Links and rank 2 XYZ’s that are good after you’ve used the flip effects for the Krawlers.
I feel as though Blackwing could also be used in this format. Some good Blackwings can still be used and Delta Crow - Anti Reverse just gets me thinking because it's basically a Harpies Feather Duster so long as you have a Blackwing
No whirlwind hurts, their level 6 synchros are also not n or r 😩
Cyber dragon build you could add power bond and the fusion monster to summon would ve pair cycroid which can attack directly and is also level 5 so not a dead card after attacking
Also rank 5 shark fortress. 2400 atk and can detach 1 material to target monster so it can attack twice. Target nova with 4200 atk might not be so bad

majespecter is actually decent, they are all immune to Vishuda, Book and chalice while also all being stratos's on summon for a different type of majespecter card

What about madolche, they have an on field omni negate with the trap, that's pretty good right
Literally all of their good monsters are high rarity though. They seem pretty terrible imo.
@@WarpedByTheNHK yeah, you'd mainly be relying on the madolche S/T to put in the work, salon can fill in for messengelato and ticket can fill in for magilene
@@Okarin_Time_Wizard it seems like a pretty weak strategy still. Which of the low rarity madolche monsters can even easily trigger the spells? If you can't trigger them going first, then there is no way to search the trap turn 1.
For Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, what does the "+1" mean?
It means you can use multiple machines. So thats why the DNA surgery is there. Call machine. Fuse all your opponents monsters away
@@Thatoneguy48147 Thank you, I was curious because, I had DNA surgery activated turned my opponents 2 monsters to Machine, and had my Cyber Dragon summoned, but could not special summon Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, so not sure what went wrong. Didn't notice any hindering effects on the board.
@@Azure_Six it could be that you couldn’t send them to the grave. All materials need to be able to hit the grave in order to summon Fortress or even Megafleet. Thats why if anything would get banish instead (by their own effect or another) they cant be used as material for it

Ive been practicing the Megalith deck in some of the practice rooms and i can say that i understand 100% why Konami hit megalith even with the limitations it's still super consistent and really op i even managed to beat metalfoes draco
At least the Tenyi will give me a warm up when SoulSword comes out

What do yall think about six sam's for this event? They have alot of cards i feel could work against the pend deck im sure we'll see. Plus they flood the field very well for rank 4 spam for removal. Love to hear thoughts about this. Great video as always lith!

I just build a metalfoes deck, my idea is to go second and try to otk with two of the fusion monster that have double piercing damage. I also have the rank 4 super quantum if i can afford to summon and force something to defense
