Joined you the other day for the first time on the By the Bay video and looked for the link to this because of the pirate ship!! Wow! What a great video and a very positive presentation, I am so excited to see more of your videos, thank you for sharing. 🤗
This was a great explanation for a difficult card. I have watched other videos and you explained it fabulously. Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to make it, using the Trusty Tools suite.
Tammy I have just recently discovered your blog and it’s awesome!! I am Loving this series on the pop and fold cards and thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to really go through the steps in this fun fold card. Your demonstration was super helpful in helping to show just how to recreate this fold especially with the 2 different colored papers at the end! I Love your enthusiasm for what you do. It’s infectious and you go out of your way to make it easy for all of us with your great written tutorials and diagrams as well as your videos!! 💕
Aw, Debra, welcome! I'm so glad you found me. You can watch hundreds of videos on my blog ( see the tab "Videos" on the blog) if you want to see more projects. I'm really glad you enjoy the PDFs too - I find them really helpful and it's something you can keep to make more cards in the future.
I was making my first Twist & Pop-Up card & was looking at another demonstrators’ video. It actually went pretty well until I had to attach the “mechanism”. I could never get it to work the way it was supposed to be. I decided to look for your video on the cards. I made all the pieces again with your dimensions. I got it to work once! I could not get it to fold again the way it should. After the first part of your video with The Symbol of Fortune set you included a super simple way of doing it with using different colored card stock for the card base, the middle piece and the mechanism. After doing it that way it was so much easier to see the different pieces and where they have to be. Plus, your 8”x11” piece matched the mechanism width of 3” which was not the dimension the other demonstrator (3 1/2”) used and maybe that’s why I couldn’t make it work. I don’t know, I’m used to user error!! Anyway, thank you for making your video easy to follow and be successful and I mailed my daughters birthday card to her today,
Watching the repay... OMG'S Tami these are beautiful! As much as i love my Cranes i can't pick one over the other's, there all awesome! Going to try and make them. You made it look so easy, thank

Fantastic! I'm delighted that you're enthusiastic about it and eager to create one yourself. Although I haven't personally made a square version before, I suggest experimenting with scrap paper to create a mock version and test it out. This way, you can make any necessary adjustments as needed.

Hi Tammi
Love this card. Thanks. If I was to do this on a square card is the mechanism inside the same Measurements please.
Fantastic! I'm delighted that you're enthusiastic about it and eager to create one yourself. Although I haven't personally made a square version before, I suggest experimenting with scrap paper to create a mock version and test it out. This way, you can make any necessary adjustments as needed.
