Hi!! I've been restoring Barbies too!! I'm hooked! I've been doing it about a year now, have probably done @ 40!! My granddaughter usually claims them!! Lol!! I got about 150 more to go!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I boil wash as a 3rd step when needed, works miracles!!! I love it!! My people already know when i tell them, im playing w my Barbies!!!😁🤣

I wanted to filter out hair that was pretty much broken off too though !
What stuff do you use to clean them & detangle hair?
Shampoo and Conditioner mostly but some people use fabric softener
Hi! Love your videos! I'm still learning about washing and styling barbie hair myself. Have you tried boil washing? It might be a little easier to get really straight hair on barbies.
I definitely need to try it with Barbies. I had a horrific experience with a different doll!!! But it wasn’t Barbie. I know that their hair colour is like pretty condensed, but I don’t know I just feel very uncomfortable about dipping a dolls hair in hot water in general unless I’m trying to dye it !!

Hack for the tangles...BLUE DAWN DISH DETERGENT. 😮 Seriously. A few drops mixed in conditioner or fabric softner on the hair. Gently pull it like you are milking a cow, and rinse. Oila!

The horrors of working with kanekalon hair!! Mattel's way to save a buck or 3 starting in the mid 80's. Horrible stuff. The fact that the curls always turn out fuzzy with this hair was why so many second hand ones show up with really bad home haircuts.

Qué suerte encontrar tantas a ese precio! 🥹 lo que me funciona con las de los 90’ que tienen el pelo tan seco fue usar solo unas gotas de algo que se llama “Gliss Kur hair repair” de Schwarzkopf. Quedan como nuevas 😊
