    Dr Mr Haseeb: Thank you so much for this video. It was extreamly helpful in understanding the use of triacs in the control of voltage. I just ran across a DC motor controller that used 2 triacs with a driver circuit, and 2 high amperage diodes. I was trying to understand the principles of the circuit, and this video really helped me with that. You are most wonderful for all the videos you put out there

    I've never really understood this before. It's like putting a diode in series with incandescent Christmas lights cuts the voltage in half to extend the life of the bulbs, except for you use BOTH sides of the sine wave and control the portion of the wave you want to. Brilliant! Thank you!

    can you supply a schematic of this circuit that works on a 120 volts

      the same will work on 120V as well. it have to clip-off the portions of the sine wave
      if you want to use it for only 120 volt. then use potentiometer 500K instead of 680K

      1. kisi achhey aur authentic supplier se purchase karein.
      2, purchase online from some trusted supplier like UTSOURCE, farnell, alibaba, amazon, digikey and these vendors must provide certificate that these components are from original manufacturers
