  • STEVE TRASH SAYS - EPISODE 210.
TITLE: TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU'D LIKE TO BE TREATED - EXCUSE ME!
SUBJECT: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “BE CIVIL”?
    STEVE TRASH SAYS:
    “Civility… What is it?
    Civility means being polite,
    using your manners,
and treating others with respect…. ALWAYS.
    Say please, thank you, and
    excuse me.
It also means that you try to treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Being Civil is especially hard when you don’t like someone.
    They make you mad or
    you disagree with them.
But being civil is not for them! It’s for you
    Here’s why.
if I accidentally make someone mad
and they respond to me with civility,
it’s much more likely that I will be the “big me”
    and apologize for my mistake.
But if they act ugly to me, with no civility,
I’m likely to act ugly right back .
This is bad for both of us.
Being civil is about showing the strength of your character
    and doing the right thing.
Try to always make the civil choice.
Civility means treat others with respect… always.”
