I have been going to these convention since 1979 , do yourself a favor kid , stop with personalizations .. a personalized autograph does not even hold the value of what you paid for it once you walk away from the table .. if you are paying $50 or $60 at their table , once you have it personalized , the value is maybe $10 bucks if you can get that for it .. just saying .. sometimes its the difference between $1000's or dollars and $10's of dollars in value .. I have an original Star Wars insert poster with 22 autographs on it , its valued at around 10 to 12 thosaund + as it sits , I got all the signatures myself over the years .. most of the people who have signed it are dead now.. there are no personalization's on it , if it had been personalized , the value might be couple of hundred bucks .. thats the difference .. you put in all the effort time and money to get to these conventions and you unknowingly sabotage yourself by having them sign this stuff to you .. the good news is , if its a glossy serface then you can take a soft white eraser and lightly rub the personalization in clockwise or counterclockwise motion to take it off .. and before you say something like, " You Are Never Going to Sell It " ... keep in mind , you are going to die one day , you cant take it with you , so someone else is going to get it ..
@@M-113 First off thanks for watching! I respect your opinion, but I don't get autographs for investment reasons. I pay for the experience of meeting the actors I looked up to. Yes, I can't take them with me, but it's more personal to me to have it personalized. I know some people don't understand it, but we are all different and have different preferences. Now, on the other hand the collectibles I buy are for investment reasons and plan on selling those down the road when I am older. Thanks again for your advice/comment.
Adam West always personalized his autographs but I did what you said and got nail polish remover and took my name off a Batman Japan figure I had him sign! I usually get 8x10 personalized and the rest (posters/figures, etc) non p! To each their own! 🤘🤘🤘
