Some interviews of people around her during the Ruthless days said sometimes she would slip and talk in a deeper voice and correct herself. People think she started using that voice at some point and it just became comfortable and her normal voice. It's her trademark now.
@@stephenbravery448 you rolling with Dwyane Wade for Life! Do you see the way that man is raising up his son to be a daughter and you still d Wade 4 lyfe???!
December 15, 1992. My freshman year in high school in Phoenix Arizona. I remember the anticipation leading up to the album release. And after it was released, every lowrider in town was bumping that album. You couldn't go anywhere in town without hearing it on every street corner, in every store and swap meet. It was that hot.
I was hanging in parks with the boyz one of my mates purchased it and brang it down stairs to the park with a ghetto blaster we were smashed all night and listning to the album best days ever young no bills no problems lol
I remember walking through South Dekalb Mall hearing Nuthin But A G Thang when I was 4 years old (1993). We as little kids had love for Snoop especially when Doggystyle came out. But at the same time as a grown man, I got mad respect for BG Knoccout, Eazy-E, Dresta, and the whole Ruthless label after NWA broke up.
Usually in our world we respect singers more than beatmakers the same way we respect actors more than scriptwriters ... But Dre was different, he was a monster. Every single song you could tell a beat is made by Dre simply by how imposing it is. It's crazy how someone can be that talented. It got to the point where i would listen to rap and hip hop songs thinking damn this song slaps and every single time i would eventually discover : It was because of Dre
I was 13....but i wasn't a fan of hip hop then. My oldest brother LOVED hip hop, and i remember the day he brought home the Chronic....he played it nonstop for atleast a year. It was played EVERYWHERE.
I remember the first time i heard it, was listening to kiss fm as a 3rd grader and they played a 5 second clip of regulator, like "new music comin up after the break" i swear just hearing that lil clip I was completely blown away and rushed out to buy it... 5 seconds of that beat and hearing nate dogg, I knew in one second it was gonna be MASSIVE
BG Knock Out still a hater, he said he wasn't impressed with the Doggy Style album. Doggy Style went Muti Platinum, Dre Produced every beat on that album from head to toe. BG Knock Out and his brother just sour because their album flopped in a era wheir West Coast music was dominating, Doggy Style gotta be the best album I ever heard in my life in my personal opinion🤔
Chronic: age 7 my aunts house. It scared me a bit but overall classic album in music period. Doggystyle: age 8 my babysitters house. Snoop was and still is cool. Dogg Food: age 10
who thought it was a good idea to interview michel'le? She don't remember billyjackshit! Hell even I know where I was when the chronic came out! I might not remember the exact release date since I spent the last part of '92 in my mama's belly but at least I know where i was when the damn album dropped. Michel'le please go back to being obscure and making people feel sorry for you...people liked you that way.
Dogg Food was a flop compared to the previous Death Row releases. Daz was a weak rapper. Daz's ghost producer, Priest, did a 1/2 a$# job with the beats. They shouldve let Dre produce that album. Kurupt had the nerve to diss Bone Thugs. I guess he was jealous. Death Row ran 93 and 94. But Bone ran 1995. E1999 Eternal sold more than twice as much as Dogg Food. Da Crossroads Remix single even sold more than Dogg Food album. Bahahahahaha. Snoop and Death Row were over with. 2Pac saved Death Row. Then once Pac died, Death Row lived off posthumous Pac albums. Doggfather was the last non-Pac Death Row album to sell over 2 million. Then it stalled at 2 million, which was more than 1/2 of wtf Doggystyle sold.
Dogg Food could've been a lot better. The songs they dropped on soundtracks in that era were far more superior than the content on the album. But I don't think it was a flop. The album went double platinum.
It’s crazy how michel’les voice isn’t the same when she sings she sounds like a totally different person
D wade 4 Lyfe same with Ralph tresvant. He has a manly voice but when he sings he has a soft voice.
She had problems with her laryx
Right!!! Just like Ozzy

I was in job crops in 92 93 in West va.
I was in 4th grade. I heard "g' thang" on the radio and that is when I got into rap and just music altogether.
That cartoon voice is just surreal. It's hard to believe she's not faking it.

He says it grew on him. It was the same with me; it grew on me and afterwards I couldn't stop playing it. Best rap album, ever.
Iconic album. My favorite Dr Dre album The Chronic, Snoop Doggy Dogg album Doggystyle, & 2Pac album All Eyez On Me . My top 3 albums.
