I honestly enjoyed terraria ALOT, more than minecraft ngl, I never touched it until back in january, I completed it less than a week. The items, bosses, buffs, pets, the music and don't even mention the zoologist **chef's kiss.** Although as for multiplayer, I had so much fun in terraria too but minecraft takes the cake for playing w/ friends, definitely.

i gotta state the music of both games,
*Minecraft* has relaxing music that starts randomly in the game and it hits you hard and suddenly the thing ur doing like mining or digging becomes much more enjoyable and memorable when you hear the same music again,
while *Terraria* has biome specific music it is absolutely amazing and hyped, the separate bossfight music really hits hard as you kill the boss before it rips you into shreds, the corruption/crimson music very effectively shows that you are feeling uneasy (tho corruption is more funky but crimson is good in creepyness) in a dangerous evil environment to the jungle playing tribal drums implying that you are somewhere in the wild.
conclusion:
minecraft has relaxing memorable music that hits hard whenever it plays
terraria has hype music that really expresses the situation you are in be it environment/biome, bossfight, invasion/events etc.
I love both equally

2:04 There's very few songs in that soundtrack I actually enjoy, most of them are weird to me, thought I will admit, I will never play with music off, as it is better than nothing, and some songs such as Day, Boss 1 and MoonLord's theme I cannot live without.
As for Minecraft's soundtrack it's comforting, and one of the nether songs brought tears to my eyes, though they're so infrequent and kinda fade in at random and you aren't even sure if your gonna get the songs you like or something you keep forgetting existed and never cared too much for the moment it goes off.
Basically In my opinion, they're both a mixed bag of bops and bogus (for lack of word that start with B meaning kinda okay), like any soundtrack really...

@@nutnut5708 when the 1.4.4 update comes out you can have 9999 gold in your inventory also if i fill up the void bag, piggy bank and safe with gold you can get:

And to correct you, the Terrarian carries 1699830 blocks, the Void Bag doesn't count because it's a pocket dimension, so they don't carry the actual weight.
Another thing to factor is that 1 Terraria block is 2 feet, while a Minecraft block is 1 meter.
So the total weight the Terrarian carries is reduced by ~33%
The gold bathtub is actually about 6 times heavier than the gold block (without factoring in dimensions), but even with the bathtubs, the Terrarian is only about half as strong as Steve.

3:41 to be fair, items dropping on death really doesn't work in Terraria. In hardmode or later it's quite easy to get stuck in a death loop with enemies that are way too strong for your puny copper shortsword. Since Minecraft doesn't have basically any enemy progression, it works.
Minecraft has enemy progression, I play on hard and at the beginning of the game you get normal zombies but the game goes you get zombies with full iron armour with enchanted swords and also skeletons with armour and enchanted bows and then if you are unlucky you get a diamond armour mini zombie

Personally, both games are great and I respect both communities, always have, I did try to play terraria once, but I couldn't figure out how to play as a minecraft player.

I believe Terraria is great for building, & I enjoy it more. You get a lot of tiles to work with, just like Minecraft, but you can mix & match paints on different tiles to make entirely new ones! No game is better than the other, because it's not really fair to compare two legends that are entirely different.

I like MC and terraria mods, MC mods are mostly for creating and look cool, Terraria mods are just a lot bigger, only calamity adds around 4000 items and are more ballanced.

but Minecraft doesn't make a whole modpack with a single mod, it needs to be a modpack to really achieve that thing, There are modpacks that add up to 400 mods and so add more than 26000 items and a lot of mobs aswell

I like both, I use Terraria for relaxation, As it is like 2d Minecraft (Let me finish) and loads faster, I also use it for situations with frequent interruptions.
I use Minecraft for a more immersive/familiar feel (I have been a Minecrafter much longer.)
And building.
I again use Terraria for an adventure, As it is much more than just 2d Minecraft, Despite similarity s.(Thanks for letting me finish.) It is also a higher quality environment despite less dimensions. I like both as each has unique mechanics (Hoiking vs Riptide Trident(i.e.)).
Both are amazing games, Thx Notch and Re-Logic, You have each made the world a better place!😃
