This is one of the greatest trailers for a game I've ever seen.

Six years later and it still gives me goose bumps. Regardless of every flaws this game had and still have, it's an awesome franchise. Pretty good work Massive.

This one is big, Ubi. Don't fuck this up with downgrades or 8 month delays. This is your biggest hitter yet for this gen.
Far Cry 4 is better
I don't mind the 8 month delays as long as they do something productive with them. I want this game to come out as good as they showed it, if that takes them some extra time, then I'm all for it.

Yeah Look at Watch dogs... They downgraded the graphics because they had extra time.. I say they should rush this game before they have the chance to downgrade it.
No, the downgraded the graphics because they were too performance intensive for the consoles. I don't know why they'd do it for any other reason.

The NRG Crew No they locked the graphics so they couldn't go too high so that it seemed like their console version wasn't being given too much less than PC.
There are mods you can get to unlock them.

Joking aside. This trailer really hits the spot. it's great how the city looks identical in the game. Really looking forward to this launching.
+Geektech It looks awesome! I don't know if you played the beta, but after playing about 36 hours or so of it, I cancelled my regular pre-order and got the Gold Edition instead. So much potential and the full launch will be spectacular.
+Christian Balsiger Indeed, I enjoyed both the alpha and Beta. More so the beta, as i played it on the PC. Although, sadly there was no real functional difference between the two. Hoping the open Beta in a few weeks as more to offer, but none the less, eagerly awaiting the games arrival in March.

+Christian Balsiger It's not at all confirmed, and Ubi sites even say "thanks for participating in the beta, see you 8 march"
So far it has been like the siege release, and for siege there was a short "live test" before the initial release so maybe that one might come up, but that was mostly send to people who participated in the closed beta.

I do not know how this game will end up but truth be told this is one of the most beautifully crafted trailers i have seen. I keep coming back to it.

This trailer is so emotional and is true in many points.
It's a hard to swallow pill how true and relatable Ryan's words are to reality and the trailer show's it perfectly. When life gets hard and everything starts coming down, we hide from the truth because we don't want to believe it. And when we see others struggling to get by, we hide from it so we don't feel what they do
I remember when we started getting reports of just how bad it was getting in Wuhan and China absolutely cracking down. South Korea had just had its first cases in February. It was something I remember very specifically, looking back on it during breaks, getting in the car to listen to the news to hear what was going on, and just the obliviousness to it all. I remember coworkers being like, "oh its nothing, we have nothing to be scared of" but... I remember telling them that, I don't think so. I remember hoping that it wouldn't be as bad but really starting to shift opinion towards the notion that we needed to bite a serious bullet and enact major travel restrictions. I remember thinking that we're making a huge mistake not biting the bullet and heavily restricting international travel.
Hearing the incredible lack of just... initiating precautions before it hit, or at the very least before it started to overwhelm our hospitals. Go to work, get in the car to listen to the radio, eat my lunch, drive home and listen to the news as it was breaking and more reports were coming in... and then Spring Break hit. A bunch of coworkers had started saying there's no way that we would close down, saying this the day after the NBA suspended games, and Disney World announced park closures. Those same exact coworkers, saying NO WAY, NO WAY and meanwhile I just kept on saying, you are terribly wrong because we're about 2 weeks away from something that most people alive today have not experienced... ever. The day after that, the place where I worked halted operations. A week and a half after that, as I drove in to help out with cleaning and other things while we were closed to the public... that morning was the day that I hoped to god would not happen, happened... and the real tsunami of cases overwhelming hospitals hit New York City.
And I remember driving to work that day, and thinking of this exact trailer. Thinking about the people that were either dead, or dying... as well as the people that would have to be isolated from their loved ones and unable to even be by their side during all of that... and just the denial of it. Thinking about anyone giving out stupid information like how wearing a mask restricts your oxygen. Even though surgeons wear surgical masks during important operations to protect the people they are operating on from getting an post-operation infection. Nope, their oxygen is totally impaired and that's why they wear them.
I remember thinking how difficult it was to stay home, to be careful around people, keep my distance (and wear a mask since we had package lying around because dad wears them when woodworking), and thinking that yeah, it might be incredibly difficult. But I also thought that doing my absolute best to exercise common sense and utilize the information that was still coming out, in order to prevent myself and others to have an even more difficult time if they did get COVID... I thought that was a fight, a necessity to rise to, even if it might have been difficult to change routines and deal with the suck of lockdown.
It just shows how so many of us just... don't care until things are in our court, are in our immediate purview, that we finally start caring. Such a shame, truly.

It's hard to watch something you love destroy it's self, to see it fall apart. Disaster always feels so distant, detached. Someone else's struggle in some far away place. It's not until it's in our city, at our doors, that we realise how fragile we are, all of us, all of this. Then when it hit, when it came down, it came down hard, and we fell. We buried ourselves, in anger and fear, and the instinct to survive. And the real truth is, no one watched, no one saw, or wanted to see. Tragedy is invisible, people turn away from it, they run from it if they can. And it's hard knowing that you belong here, that your purpose lies amongst all this pain. But someone's got to be there, to pick it up, to push back. Put the first piece back together. Put us all back together.

it's odd how even though the game's fictional, the words from the trailer are so applicable to reality, few people are bothered with someone else's suffering as long as it doesn't affect their view on the world

the way those cleaners rode up on the garbage truck was so damn menacing... out of every video game I've played, the cleaners are the only group to have me on the edge of my seat every time I fight them...
why? they are the most unrealistic things in the game and thats saying something they SPRINT at you 10 times faster than usain bolt in his prime the flame throwers are like sniper rifles and hit u from miles away and the AI is dumb as fuck.

now this is a game trailer! no flashy explosions or action sections, just a message of what's to come and why. it makes you curious but satisfied with it. unlike the doom trailer were you saw a demon thing and that's it. this is just powerful and well done.

This is what we wanted. A good story and world + remeberable and attachable character, not this anmoying and repeatative bullet sponge fest that gives 0 shit about those things.

I know many of you have mentioned that this trailer is the first ever trailer to actually give you a emotional reaction. I think that goes the same for many of us, so many little things in the opening of this trailer that can touch so many people in so many ways. As I sit here tonight installing the game waiting for it to finish I thought I would come back and visit this.Just a game trailer or not I don't think anything even in a movie trailer had made me feel the kind of emotions this game trailer has brought me. I think in times like these everyone could use a bit of some epic pick ourselves back up music right now.You hit it perfectly the music is very inspirational. No matter how hard we get hit taken down, some of the smallest gestures can help us start over and get on our feet opposed to waiting for a huge sign or a miracle..
