- Hello everyone. In this art vlog I’m using the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam for inspiration again, to draw the interior of a big palm greenhouse and paint a white building with abundant green creepers. So, a lot of speed drawing and speed painting ahead! There's also another (very) short tour of the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam included, to introduce what I’m tackling. I hope you enjoy the video. Thanks so much in advance for watching! 😊

The materials used for the drawing are:
Pencils: Faber-Castell 0.5 mm mechanical pencils, hb and 2b leads (plus some ill-advised 4b regular pencil usage, that I should not have attempted)
Paper: Daler Rowney Smooth Heavyweight paper, 220 gsm
The materials used for the painting are:
Strathmore Mixed Media paper, 300 gsm
Acrylic paints: Winsor & Newton old & new paints/professional & study quality, Talens Amsterdam minis and Golden Fluid Acrylics. So basically, all over the place… I did a whole video on them. Well, half a one, but if you’re interested (includes 1-year test results) here’s the link: • Results One-Year Light...
