We LOVE Palo Duro Canyon! It was super cold and we were in a tent, as you can see in our vid, but we still LOVED it! Hoping we can go back soon! It's perfect for a variety of camping, we saw so many different kinds of campers and RVs as well as tent of all kinds.
My first thought when you said you tent camped at Palo Duro was “My gosh! Weren’t you worried about rattlesnakes.” The time of year we went meant lots of rattlesnakes. Looks like it may have been too cold for you to have that problem. Glad you liked it and look forward to seeing your travels to our neck of the woods in Colorado.
@@RVHomeschool We didn't even think about it haha but we probably should have. We were there in November and it was below freezing. What time of year did you go?
We are going to Palo Duro in November. Thanks for let us know about the 10% grade drive in! It's good information to know, especially for new RVers out there. We have recently upgraded from a 13' Uhaul fiberglass trailer to a 25' Avion, and the increase in weight has chnaged our driving style and now we must take grade into consideration.
You’re welcome. That’s a good thing to know. I wouldn’t want to come in after dark and realize that grade and those turns existed. Have fun with your new rig.

@@RVHomeschool You were right about the 10% grade, but once we got down in the canyon it was beautiful. We loved Palo Duro Canyon.
Thanks for the video
We arrived with our camper in tow well after dark. Ignorance is bliss and we had no idea how nerve racking the roads were. We just took it slow.
There are several many campgrounds in the state park. Which one is this?
I believe it’s the Sagebrush campground.
How is cellular access? thanks
We remember it being poor. Too poor to stream a movie. It’s down I. The canyon so it doesn’t seem to have a good signal.
...Canyon Texas
@Running Man guess you'd know
@Running Man right
@Running Man I'm sure they all feel the same for you as well. Whats your problem with Canyon ?
