Ninjas are missing one single card that glues the deck together. Ain’t no Small World or Prosperity at 6 fixing this deck. They gave notebook 2 effects but the second one is so hard to activate. If only hidden village would let you activate the monster effect, this deck would have been completely different.
Cool tech I’ve been using in paleo and Eldlich piles recently is magical hats. Flips your monster down and searches two traps (rollback + burst/ evenly / whatever board wipe or interruption you want) then destroys the two traps. Oddly strange and good synergy with ninjas as they like being flipped face down and don’t care if they get sent to grave even if the enemy hits them in the battle phase. Thoughts?

@@Revedante I’ve done some crazy plays with magical hats and it’s impressive what you can do with it if you like trap decks and ninjas. I’m cooking up a ninja trap deck as I’m typing this lol
@@Revedante trying to figure out ratios for a 60 pile using upstart golden ninja. Good for pitching rollback in your hand or elemental burst or any trap brick in hand. If you could lend a hand with ratios that would be extremely helpful. Ninjas as a deck is mainly toolbox stuff so i figured it would go well with a win condition about using traps from graveyard
@@Revedante also try using lord of heavenly prison if you do trap ninja deck. It searches any spell trap and protects all SET CARDS from destruction, not just set spell traps.
Just summon Meizen and use Ninjitsu Traps, probably your best bet. If you can summon Mitsu as well it could be nice. The cool thing about Ninjas is that they can kind of play into Maxx C and Mulcharmy with heavier trap version.
Haven’t tested it in TCG, but maybe you can try ending on S:P directly with heavier ninja board with Meizen and Mitsu. Also increase the number of Ninjitsu Art Traps to enhance the board a little or add another good link 4 or link 3. Ultimate Great Insect can be a decent end board piece paired with Ninja Field Spell and it can be pretty good against Tenpai, but it’s not exactly ideal. Also a generic Rank 4 can be good end board piece with the Toy Cards. Hope that helps

@@Revedante I am on 60 cards. Getting Isolde. Mill 4 (digger, cursed bamboo, phoenix gearblade and 1 other) to summon hanzo. Gets you Baku special summon to the field. Phoenix gear blade to your hand, a bamboo sword to your hand and digger to your hand. Its insane +

Saizo wouldn't work for getting upstart fuel because it sets to the field, not adds to the hand. also funny enough I posted a replay using this engine last night too but it takes a different approach. I also highly recommend running forbidden droplet to help with pitching the set toy monsters to grave

I'll say that shield-bearer is a good tech choice too since toy soldier can search it and it let's you go into baku really easily. in theory it also facilitates shenanigans with hop ear squadron too if you wanted to run synchro boss monsters.

There are a couple, but essentially you can banish a hand trap or Toy Soldier copy to access a ninja. I’ve actually only used the card once so I can’t really specify more than that😂
@@Revedante have u tried the new battling boxer rank 4 xyz, it adds any warrior? Maybe play that as an alternative line if u dont have a trap for upstart.

How do you play under Mulcharmy fuwaross? What's the end board look like ?

Well, there is some synergy with Mimighouls and they work pretty well with Mimighouls.

I realised that about Saizo after recording it😂 And I know about Droplet, but I really wanted to keep the deck at 40 cards.

Technically it’s 2 and a half, but yeah, I agree, too many cards are required.
Of course the combo won’t change the way that Ninjas are played, but if you play more trap like the new dominus maybe you can do a lot
