I agree this should be an OEM part on the car. Looks really good.
Keep on posting these videos on modifying your polo, your giving me inspirations.
One recommendation get 17 inch (7.5J ET35) alloy wheels and lower the car with H&R spring (25mm in the front and 40 in the rear).
It will look totaly different and really good.

I'm roughly at about 1.2k and I've got just shy of another 1k left in mods I need to do before it's on to the next project

I have a question does the turning light on the inside of the mirror is that still blinking with the modification
I don't believe it blinks it functions differently because of the turn signal 😊

Is your mirror glued on, mine doesnt have electronic mirror and it glues onto the housing. Can i get it off withour craxking it. Just wannw change the housing
It sounds like a different configuration to mine for yours you might just have to change the whole thing or risk removing the mirror chances are it's sticking on a clip like mine was
Is the stock indicator a bulb you can replace or do you need to switch the entire unit?
It's probably possible to just replace the stock indicator but I didn't see a single supplier selling it like that for the 6r only on the golfs have I seen it like that
So the originals don't have any bulbs to replace
there's no bulbs its just a strip
Did you spray the mirror caps gloss black yourself?
Would have actually been cheaper to do that never even came to mind was probably being lazy 😳 got them wrapped
swap the headlights on also paint those plastic spoilers on the bottom of the bumper on either side gloss black
The new headlights are sitting beside me right now need to order a h7 hid conversion kit for them videos coming soon 👏

They're the originals just wrapped in gloss black vinyl 🫡
Will the same product work for a polo 2020 mk6?
I doubt it as it's a newer model but you can check using the eBay feature for compatibility it might

Hi there really need help as I can’t find anyone with my issue being answer online anywhere! I bought a car that has these on them and they work great while the engine is off but as soon as you turn the key the stop working properly and just flash the first LED in the speed of what it should be doing the sequential one
They could be quite a few things that could be causing these I come from a electronic eng diagnosis background so I know how I'd go about fault finding them but it's difficult to explain my process to someone else
Chances are they're faulty or it could be the wiring for them playing up the first step is always to disconnect them and reconnect them to check the wiring have you tried that?
@@The_journeyy No I haven’t tried that yet as it’s been raining since I got the car and don’t have anywhere dry to take it out so was looking for a fix before doing that but if it could be that easy I will give it a go when I’m home later and I’ll comment again with the results 🙏🙂
Sometimes it can be that easy, if that doesn't work I'd clean the connectors for them and the car barring that working I would fault find the caps and then the connectors for the car and so on 😊
@@The_journeyy Hi sorry it took a while to reply but iv taken them off and fully cleaned everything but with no luck still doing the same thing, how would I find out where the cable for the blinker lead to so I can check if the wires the issue?
I've not removed that much of it off but I'm guessing you'd have to remove the whole mirror assembly the wires should be in there 😊

What type of screwdriver is needed at 1:24
I can't remember exactly but if I remember correctly it was probably a torx screw like T15 or T20 my bad for not putting that in the description 😊

Go for the headlights to make them uniform
This is a great idea 💡 I've got a few more cheap modifications to do on the outside and then the first big one will be the headlights instead of the interior thanks for the advice bro 👏

Bro😢 my mirror broke when i tried to remove the clips😂
I broke mine as well the first time round was so rough and didn't have my tools so used a screwdriver to try pry the mirror off not my best decision in hindsight 🤣
@@The_journeyy thing is i had the tool but i was too rough when doing it🤣 ordered 2 new mirrors and waiting for my mirror caps until i try again😂😂
The mirrors are definitely finicky it's a delicate touch kind of a job once you get the mod on your going to love it the indicators are very cool 👏

I don't think it is tricky after that I took the second one off with ease and putting it back on was easy 😊
