I so enjoy this particular sermon and I've been blessed to hear it many times between my own Bible study with you, my daughter's Bible study as well as in our church, and I gain greater insight each and every time! And as you've stated before, you must understand this prophecy to truly understand Revelation. What a marvelous job you do breaking it down so we all can clearly understand.

Donna, I wouldn't get too excited about this sermon. .It fails to mention the fact that Antiochus Epiphanies IV disrupted the Jewish Temple worship for just over 6 years ie "2300 days". The day for a year in prophecy principle was promoted by the SDA church but is Not a mainstream Christian belief. Even the Encyclopedia Brittanica - a publication that does not believe in Bible prophecy - Admits that Antiochus Epiphanies IV " is the monarch described in the pseudoprophetic chapters of Daniel". The video IS correct about the 490 sevens prophecy but the original Hebrew in Daniel says Nothing about "days" - it just says "seventy sevens".
So far this man is correct. and now the rest of the 2,300 days should come to 1844.
It is better to be silent on matters one does not know or understand than to deceive others confidently.
The 2300 evenings and mornings is referring to the daily sacrifices and that is a period of 1150 total days.
1 Chronicles 16:40 To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; (Also see Exodus 29:39, Numbers 28:4 )

At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision (of the 2,300 years in Daniel 8).
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, [49 years] and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Jews cannot deny the first part of this prophecy, (and that the day for a year principle applies to it) it's only after threescore and two weeks, do they deny the coming of their Messiah.
Jesus Christ did not come in a vacuum.
He confirmed his new covenant promised in (Jer 31:31-34) for three and a half years, after his anointing by the Holy Spirt at the beginning of his ministry. Like king David before, Jesus would be anointed 'again' at his death, when he became our passover Lamb in the middle of the seventieth week, with three and a half years remaining (grace) of the final seventieth week under the covenant God made with their fathers "Thy people".
This is why the gospel was preach exclusively within the boards of the promise land, before Christ chose Paul to bring his gospel unto the Gentile nation to bring them into the common wealth of Israel (Jeshurun his people).
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
{Acts 13:46}
And *after* threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
👉but not for himself:...
(For he (God the Father) hath made him [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
{2 Corinthians 5:21})
...and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

This is not part of the seventy weeks.
It's the consequences of the abominations made in the temple, after Christ had put an end to the sacrifices and the oblations of the daily. It was a prince (lower-case) of Rome (the fourth beast of Daniel 7) who stood in the holy place in 70 A.D.
☆The seventy weeks are determined from the terminus que [457 B.C.] of the 2,300 evenings and mornings, and the cleansing of the sanctuary (judgment 'yom kippur') 👉in heaven.
And he [the Messiah] shall confirm the covenant with many for ONE WEEK: and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK (the seventieth) he [Christ] SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, and for the overspreading of abominations (the continued temple sacrifices, after Christ one perfect sacrifice.) he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 is in the past , the 2300 days is pertaining to the time of Antiochus IV , Epiphanes affliction on the children of Israel .

WHO IS DANIEL ( AN ISRAELITE ) ?
WHO IS ISRAEL ( THE ONLY NATION UNDER THE COVENANT OF THE FATHER ) ?
WHAT IS THE COVENANT ( THE CHURCH ; AN AGREEMENT TO KEEP THE LAWS OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL ) ?

YOU ERROR BECAUSE YOU THINK GOD HAST DONE AWAY WITH ISRAEL ( JEREMIAH 31:35-36 ) .
In Daniel 8:3-4 , the vision that Daniel saw by the river Ulai was a ram which had two horns : and the two horns were high ; but one was higher than the other , and the higher came up last . As the ram push toward the west/north/south , no beast could stand before him .
The angel Gabriel made it clear in Daniel 8:21 , that the ram with two horns are the kings of Media and Persia ; and we know that Media was the first horn , and the Persian was the higher or last horn .
In Daniel 8:5-7 , the he goat coming from the west with a notable horn between his eyes , ran into the ram with fury and power , and cast down the ram to the ground , and stamped upon him : and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand .
The angel Gabriel made it clear in Daniel 8:21, that the he goat is the king of Grecia , and the great horn between his eyes is the first king ; and we know that Alexander the great was the first king to unite all the realm of Grecia ( remember Greece is one country , but Grecia is made of many countries in that area ) .
In Daniel 8: 8 , the he goat waxed great : and when he was strong , the great horn was broken ; and for it came up four notables ones to the four winds of heaven .
The angel Gabriel stated in Daniel 8:22 , " Now that being broken , whereas four stood up out of it , four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation , but not in his power " .
A NATION IS A FAMILY OF PEOPLE ( GRECIA ) ; MADE UP OF FAMILY FROM MANY COUNTRIES .
We understand by reading history , that four of Alexander the great generals united together and after much fighting over the years , divided the kingdom into four parts .
1. Cassander , 2. Lysimachus , 3. Ptolemy , and 4. Seleucus .
The kingdom was not in the power of Alexander the great , because his son was too young to take the kingdom .
Daniel 8:9-12 , " 9.And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
10And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
This little horn came out of one of the four generals ( CASSANDER , LYSIMACHUS , PTOLEMY , AND SELECUS ) ; which would be the third beast coming up out of the sea in Daniel 7 , Grecia ; not the fourth beast , Rome .
In Daniel 7 ,the little horn came up out of the fourth beast coming up out of the sea ; which is Rome , not Grecia
THE LITTLE HORN IN DANIEL 8 , CAME OUT OF THE SELEUCID EMPIRE ; WHICH WAS ANTIOCHUS IV , EPIPHANES .
Before Antiochus IV ,Epiphanes ; the Ptolemaic empire under the Ptolemy's ( king of the south ) , and the Seleucid empire under Antiochus III , The Great , and his son , Seleucus IV , Philopater ( king of the north ) ; the Israelites were allowed to serve the God of Israel in their own way . This changed when Antiochus IV , Epiphanes became ruler , after the death of his brother , Seleucus IV , Philopater .
Antiochus IV , was the eighth ruler of the Seleucid empire , and ruled from 175 b.c. , to 164 b.c.
A little horn is a beast that destroy you physically and spiritually .
Antiochus IV waxed toward the south ( Ptolemaic empire of Egypt ) , toward the east ( Parthian empire ) , and toward the pleasant land ( Israel ) .
Antiochus IV waxed to the host of heaven ( children of Israel ) , and cast some of the host and of the stars to the ground , and stamped upon them .
Exodus 12:40-41, " Now the sojourning of the children of Israel , who dwelt in Egypt , was four hundred and thirty years . And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years , even the selfsame day it came to pass , that all the HOSTS OF THE LORD went out from the land of Egypt .
GENESIS 37:5,9-10 , " 5.And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 9.And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the ELEVEN STARS made obeisance to me.10.And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? PEOPLE FORGET THAT ZION/JERUSALEM/JUDAEA IS THE GREAT CITY OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL , HIS FOOTSTOOL ; WHICH IS HEAVEN .
THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ARE THE ONLY NATION OF PEOPLE UNDER THE LAWS OF GOD , BECAUSE THEY ARE
THE ONLY NATION TO HAVE MADE A COVENANT WITH HIM .
THEY ARE HIS HOST , AND LIVE IN HIS CITY ; WHICH IS HEAVEN , OR THE FOOTSTOOL OF GOD . ALL THE OTHER NATIONS ARE CONSIDERED AS THE EARTH .
PSALM 48:1-2 , " 1.(A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
LAMENTATIONS 2:1 , " 1.How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
GENTITLES/STRANGERS , ARE PEOPLE FROM OTHER NATIONS , WHO ARE GRAFTED INTO TE COVENANT OF ISRAEL THROUGH FAITH .
Antiochus IV , magnified himself even to the prince of the host ( THE HIGH PRIEST ) , and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away , and the place of his sanctuary was cast down .
And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression , and the truth was cast to the ground ( Antiochus IV replaced the high priest Onias III , with his hellenized brother Jason ; then replaced Jason with Menelaus of the house of Benjamin around 171 to 170 B.C. . Menelaus was not of the house of Levi , so it was an abomination to the God of Israel , because only the house of Leviticus , could the service of God be performed .
In 168 B.C . , Antiochus IV , had the daily sacrifices stopped , and defiled the sanctuary by killing an unclean animal ( swine ) on the altar of the sanctuary , and erecting a statue of a false god of himself in the temple .
DANIEL 8:13-14 , 13.Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
The transgression of desolation , to give both the sanctuary ( TEMPLE ) and the host ( CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ) will be trodden under foot for 2300 days ; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed .
By history , we know that the Grecia armies under Antiochus IV were driven out of Jerusalem , and the temple cleansed in 164 B.C. .
Also the bible give you a time line in Daniel 12:11-12 ; which is a little over three and a half years from the daily sacrifice being taken away in 168 B.C. , to the cleansing of the temple .
From the time that the high priest of Leviticus was replaced by Menelaus , of the house of Benjamin in 171 to 170 B.C. ; to the removal of the Grecia army from Jerusalem in 164 B.C. ; A TIME OF ABOUT SIX AND A HALF YEARS , OR 2300 DAYS .
YOU USE THE 70 WEEKS AS ENDING IN 34 A.D. , AND ISRAEL BEING NO MORE A NATION BEFORE GOD ; BUT YOU DISMISS THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AS THE HOST , AT THE TIME OF ANTIOCHUS IV , WHY ?

Most theologians are wrong:
The goat and ram vision which corresponds directly to the silver and bronze of the statue, can't be Alexander the great because that vision has a specific 2300 day time limit. If you try to turn it into 2300 years it won't work at all. If you add 539 BC(when the Persian ram arrives on the scene in the vision), to the year 2019, you come up with 2558 years. This would mean that the vision is 258 years overdue. This is an insurmountable obstacle to overlook. Also the head of gold is actually Mystery Babylon the great of Revelation chapter 17 and 18. The problem with all interpretations before the year 2000 are that they are all trying to use 2300 years instead of using the clearly spoken time of 2300 days. The vision pertains to a time that has yet to come and the 2300 days are days only not years. This is why I thank Yehovah for showing me the real order of events of the end times. Yehovah has shown me more than I can put into words at this point but all praise be to him" Shalom...

Biblically the 2300 day prophecy starts at the beginning of THAT vision, not the beginning of the 70 weeks. The vision begins with Persia being at the peak of its power and the appearance of the rough goat (Alexander the Great) as it begins to attack Persia. That happened in 334 BC.
Nothing happened to the sanctuary in 1844.
But In 1967, Israel recaptured Jerusalem for the first time since it was lost to Nebuchadnezzar. A cleansing ceremony was performed at that time.

Dan9:26, "after 62 weeks Messiah shall be cut off". How do 62 weeks add up to 3.5 years ? 62 weeks after his anointing, right ?

wrong i belive both the 70 weeks and the 2300 end the same time.the begining of the 2300 year is during knoh the great rain which we can proof it seemingly .
It is really amazing that "Christians" doesn't know the Name of the Father, which we are told many times that we are to call on His name. The Fathers Name ain't God or LORD. The 4 Hebrew letter name of the Father, appears over 6,800 times in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), Where is it in the KJV Bible. It ain't there because the Catholic Church ripped all of the Hebrew of out of the Scriptures. The "Christian" church has not clue and hasn't taught the Gospel since 325AD

Dan 8:27 is clear that the Daniel did not understand the prophecy of Daniel 8
The error is when people thing that Daniel and us will understand Daniel 8 by going to Daniel 9. That`s wrong, there is no scripture that links Dan 8:14 with Dan 9:24-25 .
what most have failed to see is that Dan 8 and chapters 10-12 constitute one prophecy.
we agree that Dan 8:27 Daniel did not fully understand the prophecy, the problems comes when you say that Dan 9 made him understand.
if so why then will Gabriel visit Daniel in Chapter 10 saying he has come to make him understand [Note that this is in the 3rd year of Cyrus which is after the 1st Darius the Made):

If we read the whole of chapter 10 we see that Gabriel did not explain anything, the opening words of Dan 11:1 would inform you that its a continuation of Dan chapter 10. Now, i Gabriel places it beyond doubt that he is building on the prophecy of Daniel 8

Clearly, verse 3-4 is speaking of Alexander the Great defeating Medo-Persia and his kingdom later on dividing into 4 under his 4 generals. The time line is 331-301 BC.
We know that Greece divided into Egypt, Syria, Turkey and Greco-Macedonia.
In chapter 11 Gabriel explains the conflict between two of those kingdoms Egypt and Syria. The horrific king which is the little horn would arise from Syria and he will stop the daily and set up the awful horror -see Dan 11:30-31 cf Dan 8:9-14

Imho prphetic meaning of 2300 are literally days starting with the resurrection which is day 1 (Sabbath day) and day 2300 when the fire will fall from heaven over the bad ones that will surround/atack the new Jerusalem. Final cleansing. The unrighteous people in those days will want to bring back the babilon, to subdue his brother like nowadays but after 2300 days and nights (there are no calendars whatevere to measure time except day-night) the Bible is advising how to count the days until the real Jesus Christ will descend from heaven. Jesus will descend from heaven to his followers after the final cleansing (judgement day) of the new earth. With the resurrection Lucifer and his angels will also be released for the final lie and the righteous need to know the cronology of the events. Each and every human born from Adam is FORGIVEN OF SIN for that day due to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Ok so a day is a year in Bible prophecy and the first 69 weeks of Daniels 70 week prophecy was 483 years however the last week was not a week of years but a literal week of days. This is Inconsistent and a contradiction of the your own teaching of a prophetic day being a Year.

I believe that the 2300 days may have started on Sept 28th, 2015. Here is why...
The two horns on the ram represent the two "end time" kings of the Medes and the Persians. The Russians are the ancient people called Sythians...and they are the Medes. The Persians of course are the Iranians. Scripture tells us that they will move West, North, and South. I believe at the moment we are at West in the process, and we are waiting for them to move North and South. Syria is directly West from Iran.
Russia entered into Syria on Sept 28th, 2015 and started bombing on the 30th. Sept 28th was the Feast of Tabernacles...it was also the final blood moon of the tetrad.
Add 2300 days starting on Sept 28th, 2015. That brings you to Jan 14th, 2022. Then subtract the 1335 days from Daniel 12's prophecy. That brings us to the Feast of Pentecost to the day...May 20th, 2018.
IF (and that's a bug IF) this is all in fruition...that would lead us to the day that the Abomination of Desolation is set up. Watch Russia, Iran, and Israel very closely over the next few months.
Remember that the angel in Daniel 8 tells us TWICE that the vision ITSELF is an END TIME vision. This is extremely important.
Hello friend just curious to see if you actually watched this video. In Bible prophecy according, to Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34, a day represents a year. So the evenings and mornings referring to a 24 hour time period is prophetically interpreted as a year. The interpretation you listed in your comment really has no Biblical backing to support your position. I would encourage you to watch the following videos to enhance you understanding of this subject. Behold the Savior I am aware that in some Bible Prophecy one day equals a year, but that doesn't mean that is the rule throughout scripture. When it says "evenings and mornings" it is being descriptive. It is letting us know that these are actually 24 hour days. Also, we are told two times that the vision itself applies to the end times. Lastly, the Jews are still God's chosen people. What you believe is called replacement theology and that is heracy. Scripture is very clear that God still has a plan for Israel and Jerusalem. In the end all Israel will be saved. Every false religion believes in replacement theology.
Actually the prophetic principle of time reckoning does apply throughout Scripture. The 2300 day prophecy when applied with the concept of the sanctuary and the day for year principle leads us down to the time of the end...the end of the prophecy. This is why so many Christians believe that Jesus is coming very soon.
Also here are some further verses supporting that the Jews forfeited being God's chosen people. Matthew 21:42-45. 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

Jesus Himself really could not be more clear on the subject. Also, 1 Peter 2:4-9 says

This does not mean that the Jews cannot and will not be saved. This means they refused to carry forth the gospel commission. Anybody who repents, accepts Jesus atoning death on the cross, and follows Jesus becomes a spiritual Jew and will be saved. Praise the Lord for His love and unpartiality.
