Just bought some foam plumbing pipe wraps to go around the steel frame of my golf net, inspired by this video :-)

Good idea, always better to be safe than sorry, I'd rather be preventing things than reacting to a bad things that happen!

All great tips. I have a garage space with limited room and a low ceiling. I enjoy wedge practice their, but have spent the last year looking to build out a full size space with room to entertain. Having the right space seems to be the biggest stumbling block for simulator setups. Even hardware/software cost has dropped significantly down the list challenges in the last couple of years.

Great video. What hitting mats do you prefer to use?

Will the wireless projector be good? I am looking for 4K projector wireless for home theater and game as well as golf simulator. I am wondering the projector’s response time. Do you know a good projector to recommend?

Hey mate, like the vids. How wide is each hitting cage setup.

Mine now are 13.5 ft. If I had the space, I'd love to get to 16' at least, but 13.5 does work.

It’s really confusing to decide which equipment to buy even when you’re doing on line research. I’d like to know more about what you went with and what you might have chosen differently now that you’ve worked with what you picked.

Not sure I'd trust flightscope mevo for reliable indoor data. Even trackman has its limitations indoor even if you have the recommended 15 feet of flight and 9 feet behind the hitting area which most people don't have. Radar based just isn't very reliable indoors.

I think if you're solely indoors there's plenty of good options, I go outside too, plus I do righty/lefty at the same time which makes radar the best choice for me, and I find the numbers to be very close. A lot better than they used to be maybe 5-7 years ago definitely. Plus the reliability of getting reads and not running into issues with function that I've had with other units hasn't been there for me with Mevo+. But that's my setup and I encourage everyone to evaluate their own environment and needs to make a choice, there are a lot of options!

@@scotthogangolf that's good. I've just had issues with reliable spin rates with radar Inside especially at higher ball speeds. Haven't tried to cheaper models but this was with trackman 4 Even with metallic dots on, so distances are usually inconsistent. It seems with mid irons and up it's fine but anything lower it gets a bit inconsistent compared to camera based. But yeah left and right hand switched gets difficult with camera.
