I hope it doesn't get adapted here. But I also hope they cast Kanan as "Fake Jake" like Fake charles for one episode. That would be better. We've all suffered the Office remake.
Kanan is my favorite type of comedian. So insightful yet instinctive so his comedy is effortless. You never feel like you're waiting for a set up or a joke to drop bc everything just flows. It made more sense when i found out one of his all time favorite is Eddie Izzard who is my top favorite! Although I feel bad that even though he is so loved by so many yet he is ridiculously critical of himself 😅 We love you Kanan! Thanks Abish for this episode ☺

Abish, just a suggestion (completely aware that I am a nobody, hihi), add a segment where they talk about their first gig: how they got it, how the journey began, how hard was it to choose it as a profession. By the way big fan of your work!
Great idea sir. But first let us address your first statement. You: "completely aware that I am a nobody" Me: This is 'Journey Of A Joke', the most view we get on this is 1/10th of Son Of Abish. We don't do this for the public who comes here to laugh, which is where the millions is. We do this for YOU, that's where the learning is.
Okay let's just get this out of the way. The "cool cool cool" in the beginning was a deliberate reference to how Kanan looks like Jake from B99, right?
Kanan is my favorite Indian comic and have been scouring through utube for all his videos! What a great combination of intelligent mind, charming personality and incredible cerebral sense of humour. Thanks for this one Abish
Hi Abish! Thank you for doing this segment (Journey Of A Joke). It is such a privilege for viewers (like myself) to be able to get a glimpse of an artist's insights/thought process behind their content. It really enhances our experience and makes the content so much more relatable. So, thank you for doing this. Very grateful. I had a question. Would you ever consider doing an episode for Sketchy Behaviour?
Hey Abish, I have been following your work since last 6-7 years and I really appreciate what you have achieved in such a short span of time. My only question is why did u stop streaming, I personally enjoyed watching your streams and I hope you can atleast stream once a week. Keep up the good work buddy. :)
Feeling excited for watching Journey Of a Joke but at the same time terrified by the cyclone outside. No current supply is there and the weather is worst .
I am watching this late... This is purely analyzing every aspect of a joke ! It's just amazing to watch ...This is one of the reason why @Abish Mathew is my favourite ❤💖
I am the one.... who took the Cuckoo bird from the video, thinking I have one out in my real backyard .. in Colorado!!? I literally took my headphones off and checked on it for 5min of silence XD XD. Now... the video has become more cozy vibe to with cuckoo's sound in the background
So random observation. Kanan refers to America as North America, and then Indians as Asians, so is he deconstructing boundaries and uniting continents or is the map in his head always super enlarged for only continent view?
Hey Abish. In this comedy special, Kanan explained what a metaphor is with the help of a simile and then distinguishes between simile and metaphor. What a meta thought that was man! Can you do a brief walkthrough of that part?
I seriously want to ask this question from so long to an Indian comedian directly... Maybe someone can also make me understand too, if they know... The thing is I'm familiar with open mic culture for poetry In india, been to some.etc. But when the comedians say, they do open mics so it's like similar to what we College students do? Like there are all types of art forms and people try out their stuff there or comedy open mics are a different circuit altogether? How does all this work? I've not yet able to find some details on this part, where they develop their stuff. Just curious 😁
If there is an Indian adaptation of Brooklyn 99 and Kanan and Abhish are not Jake and Charls I will unsubscribe.
Coo coo coo cooo cooo

Its nice to see a very funny guy who comes up with the best jokes and makes you laugh along with the guy who takes the "Queen" with the "King."
OMG, I know this is only for standup, But can you please discuss a good scene from Pushpavalli with Sumukhi Suresh?? She's so talented.
