Sam and Mike aren't actually friends... the family are patrons of Sam's business (the butcher shop) and the house Alice (his girlfriend) lives in isn't actually her own, but belongs to Mike.
Classism - Mike the architect had a higher social standing than Sam the Butcher and Alice the Maid - if Mike could call Sam by his first name, and all the kids could as well (Did Sam even have a last name?) there wasn't any reason why Sam couldn't call Mr. Brady Mike.

I know I'm probably the only person who feels this way but I find Florence Henderson annoying. And she's objectively a terrible actress. She coasts in this role 100% on looks and a "sunny" personality.
Now Alice has to clean the house. Haha
I love the Brady bunch, I feel like a little girl. Thankyou. That was the best time of my life growing up😉

Sam is concerned that coffee will keep him awake, but not concerned about drinking champagne and then driving home!
Nothing wrong with a couple of drinks unless you're a light weight. That is why we now have a .08 limit and not 0.
