I like this game, it's very well made
I don't see a lot of people talk about the story in depth, so I think I will
I think Mister is Saoru, since the kid we play as is Renya, hence why the note to Saoru is in Mister's house, and the room in the beginning looks similar to the room we wake in after being taken (kinda?)
Mister/Saoru was abused by his mother, who hated him for resembling his father. Renya was probably abused for a similar, if not the same reason, or he just doesn't have the same attachment to his neglectful mother as our sister, hence the smile when she was killed.
Mister was reminded of his mother when Renya's mom was yelling at him and shoving him, so he snapped and killed her, but then realised what he did abd ran away...
I feel bad for Mister, even if he is the kidnapper, he clearly wasn't mentally well due to his trauma, and he could see where Renya's sister was coming from...
Renya and Saoru deserved better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also I don't know if they intended this, but Saoru sounds similar to the English word, Sorrow

Edit: ok kinda wanna talk about the game a bit, I like chill as art games, they are scary and well made. This one is too and very scary. I like the anxiety it gives u with the strangers ans the felling of not rlly knowing who to trust, it plays into our natural distrust for a stranger
However, this kinda felt rushed compared to the other games (or maybe it’s the editing lol ) and the ending was just so frustrating to me.
I, it’s a game so it’s gonna take its creative liberties but it’s based off of what could happen to children irl with stranger danger and abuse
Their mother deserve end legal punishment for literally abandoning her kids, like why tf she allowed to take them back at the end like that? She was abusing and neglecting her children bro
Second is how they handled mister
Listen, I feel for his past, he deserved all the love and child should get from their parents
And he may well be mentally unstable due to his trauma I get it
But a crime is a crime
Regardless of whether he hurt the kids or not
He. Still. Kidnapped.children. He should also face legal consequences, maybe at least being put into a mental institution where he can get proper treatment,
This sunshine and rainbow bullshit just don’t sit right with me at all ((I kind of resonated with this story as a child that was neglected and abused by my own mother as well))

10/10 bro that had great lore. Mister was Sarao and his trauma came back when the kids mom yelled at him and pushed him so she got stabbed like the other one. Justice was served, still feel bad for Mister tho, he just wanted to take care of some kids unlike his mother. I would be smiling too.
