"Tuba is the greatest!" says tuba player Stefan Ambrosius enthusiastically. At the end of the season, we finally want to give you a deeper insight into the orchestra: In our "Meet the Musicians" format, we introduce you to individual musicians from the Bavarian State Orchestra and give you an insight into their everyday lives and the special features of their instrument.

Hello, my great-grandfather and his brother Alois were tubists for the orchestra between 1911-1955, his name is Ludwig Franz Schottenheim. It is nice to hear the music he possibly played.

Ich spiele Kontrabass und hätte gerne noch Tuba gelernt.Aber sie ist mir zu schwer und unhandlich 😀Viel Grüsse
