  • The Financial District (Financial Core) is a neighborhood in Downtown Los Angeles south of the Bunker Hill district and west of the Historic Core district. The two neighborhoods are divided roughly at 5th Street. Like Bunker Hill, the Financial District is home to corporate office skyscrapers, hotels and related services as well as banks, law firms, and real estate companies.
The Financial District contains some of the city's more significant destinations and buildings, including:
    Los Angeles Public Library
    MCI Center (Los Angeles)
    Aon Center (Los Angeles)
    City National Bank Plaza
    Figueroa at Wilshire
    Citigroup Center (Los Angeles)
    611 Place
    7+Fig Shopping Center
    Jonathan Club
    Los Angeles Athletic Club
    Millennium Biltmore Hotel
    Brockman Building
The Financial District is also home 7th St/Metro Center station, which is served by the Metro Rail Red Line and Blue Line.
The Financial District was created by the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency to provide an alternative to the old Spring Street Financial District, which fell into decline in the second half of the 20th Century.

I enjoyed meeting in Los Angeles to discuss issues related to the state government's role in providing services to individuals with disabilities in regions in California. Yes, we even had a mild earthquake during the skyscraper meeting where I was presenting. Julie Ann Racino, Cornell and Syracuse University Alumni, 2019

Wow so huge love the landscape. Also love the fact that in some places in the mountains you can look and see the entire thing ( from what I've been told) can't wait to visit some day

I'm writing a story which is set in the LA Financial District, so this is really helpful. Thanks!

I can look out my window on the second floor of my house right now and see the beautiful skyline of LA. I've been to Manhattan, Chicago, San Francisco, and I've never been to downtown LA. Lived here my entire life too! 😭

I've lived here 40 years, and I can finally say this and mean it..."it's really happening downtown now".

Financial District is known for having the tallest buildings in LA! And I actually like it's skyline as clusters of high-rises surrounded by low-rise!

I walked around the Financial District in Boston, Massachusetts one day, and indeed the financial districts of the metropolis cities are known for their skyscrapers. This would've been a fantastic video but jumping from clip to clip every 2 seconds is giving me a headache. Slow it down a little and let us enjoy the scenes.

Jacob Haney, hey Jacob, cut me some slack. I was a novice when I made this. See current work of downtown. There is a learning curb to film making.

@@MichaelJirochVisualArtist Hey Michael, I wasn't trying to be critical you. I was just making what was meant to be a helpful suggestion.

I'm from New York, as the World's Financial Center, lived in Chicago which is on the top 10 list, and Los Angeles has always been high. Been concerned due to the "collapse of Wall Street" as the theme from the US 2020 Democratic candidates as London also fell at the Brexit exit (2019) from the European Union (the government has to be sued, but it was a claimed vote!!).
Yesterday, wikipedia indicated that Nation currencies from 1285 are going off in European Nations (the British did keep the pound) who switched to the euro instead of "added the euro" as commerce for the "United States of Europe" (European Union).
