This band is severely underrated. Hot take - this album might be up there with the last DGD album. Thoroughly enjoyed this album.
Just clicked on this Randomly and I'm pleasantly surprised, it's such a funky song and strait up gives me 111 Winchester by I the mighty vibes and he sounds just like Tilian.
He does sound like tillian but tillian low, def not tillian highs. Also yeah I The mighty feels to this song.

He sounds similar to Tillian at times, that’s literally it lol. He doesn’t have the range of Tilian or Wells. Tillian is on his way back, but even if he wasn’t, Wells was 100% going to be the new lead vocalist.

I'll admit the first time I heard this on my Spotify release radar playlist it immediately piqued my interest because I thought it was Tilian. However, I grew to really like the song; it is incredibly soothing as it's sort of a subdued take on the whole swancore sound. Similar bands that I liked for the same reason include Royal Coda and Amarionette.
I know the DGD comparisons are easy but there's a little Mew vibe I'm super into here.

Great song, but honestly sounds like another DGD copy. Structure has kind of watered down a bit now from their old stuff unfortunately. I was a huge fan of the Travel Glow album and hoping not all of their abstract sound and complex vocal riffs are stripped away from signing on to Blue Swan.
i wouldn't make any assumptions until the album release; artists are allowed to change and morph their music however they please! & they are most definitely not a carbon copy of DGD. DGD has their own sound and Body Thief has their own sound. Let a newer band breathe!
