I know Ray is favoured in this narration and he is a good person, but....MC is carrying a trauma bag from her life experiences and until she starts dealing with it, slowly letting go of her resentment, regret, lovelorn, she might not be ready to face Ray. Ray is the embodiment of everything she wants, struggled for & was deprived of.

The FMC had to literally die and revert to figure out the second by crippling herself with guilt. If any of you think the grass is always greener on the other side-Memento Mori. None of us are getting out of this alive. Don't hold to regrets. Regret is the anchor that keeps you from moving forward. Instead, learn. If you commited a wrong, be contrite and let it go. If you hold onto the past others will too. No one is perfect.

the problem in this story is the main girl character a great deal of her actions where done lashing out for one her brother because he was spoild and blind to how his sister was suffering at her fathers neglect .
in her second turn she took on guilt that was others to bear like the war that the white hair guy and the rude prince started.
in the past she had to win that war being of royal blood but she did not start that war so it was not her burden to hold .
as for past mistakes ?

At first I wasn’t really sure how to feel about Dorothy. Her picking on her brother, and running away from Theon. However, hearing the first part again made me realize something. 🤔
Her feelings in her past life came from neglect from her father, and her envy of her brother. Feel that long enough, it will become toxic.
My grandmother told me as a kid “to forgive is to heal”. She explained that forgiving someone is not to make them feel better, but to heal yourself.
I think once Dorothy stops chasing after her father’s attention and washes her hands of him, she’ll start to heal. Maybe even realize that the favoritism Ray receives isn’t his fault. Also, despite being a little ball of sunshine, Ray has to acknowledge, (to Dorothy), that he and her are treated differently by their father, and not in a good way. Maybe even call her out for her actions due to her envy of him. However, Ray needs to acknowledge the monster in the room. They both do.
Lastly, this is a left field theory of mine, but I kind of suspect Ethen remembers to. 🤔 After all, we don’t know who sent Dorothy back.
I know her brother's not a bad person but if he win's the comstation it would be so sad for Dorothy
Ray is such a good brother. He knows their dad is the worst and wants to make up for it by being her biggest supporter.
Its just hard to love someone when you're treated like garbage and he's the favorite.

Considering in one of the flashbacks he asks his sister to honor their deceased father, I don't think he had any clue. While he did seem to understand there was a rift between them, he literally asks "How did we end up this way?", meaning he doesn't understand why they were never able to get along. He was oblivious to the end, never realizing he was a constant reminder of all the things she was never allowed to have, and never gave her any reason to believe things would be different after their father died.
He's a good person, but I consider him a failure as her brother.

Honestly, I think that Ray and Dorothy should just sit down and have a chat. Dorothy has to be honest with him about her resentment towarts him and tell him that even if it is not his fault that she feels like this, she wants time away from him so she can heal. And Ray needs to understand that his sister needs some space and time alone. This way, Dorothy would get what she wants without constantly hurting her brother's feelings.
I dont think it will be easy for her and ray might even understand what she going through. this made me cry because this kinda of situation I'm in. all the dreams i seen to study weren't provided to me because I'm a girl who will leave the family but my brother gets everything.i am 25 yet i couldn't even pick the clothes i like when i ask that i want to pick something the answer would be if you want to then do it after you are married. my brother didn't understand what was i going through until he was 19 years old. ray cant place himself in dorothy place and it is not easy for dorothy to see what she always dreamed of and worked hard for she will not get it.
dorothy is just a child when she went through this and she had none to relay on so i dont think she understood that what she did to her brother is wrong.its is just fate is so cruel to people that dont deserve this. It is really hard to see that everything she want is snatched away from her.
the person who deserve the punishment is not dorothy or ray its their father who is not a capable parent. I dont hate ray but i could also understand why dorothy dont like him. it is not easy that even after you work so hard your dreams are shattered while someone else get what she always wanted without anything to do.and more worst that person is right in front of you all the time which will hate yourself more.

Theon actually just used MC and Ethan ended up stopping him his main goal was to kill MCs brother (His supposed best friend BTW) the reason was to steal the light power and save his own life when that failed he killed himself to spite Ethan so yeah Theon is a kind of a jerk he also likely was never in a relationship with that other girl
If this is true, then I knew there was a reason I like Ethan. This novel sets up the love triangle in a great way that's not irritating so far. I usually dislike when the FL (usually ignorantly) leads on multiple guys. The male lead is not clear at a glance.

I would like to see a story where the dad goes to the afterlife and finds his wife but she wants nothing to do with him unless he can somehow make their child forgive him for how he treated her but since it’s impossible he’s reincarnated into the world as either her child or time is rewound but he has his memories and it’s to the point where she is already distancing herself from him and he has to bridge this gap.

The MC’s biggest flaw in seeking redemption from her previous life is that she is blinded by her desire to be loved by the people that don’t love her and ignoring the one person that loves her unconditionally. Her brother is a victim of sins of the father. Her attempt to be better is still highly flawed and hindered by her blindness to appreciate her own brother who has been nothing but good to her. So she’s still not truly good at heart. Just sad that she cares about everyone but Ray
I think she is quite good at heart after she decides to be good. Her past life seems to be full of being egged on by her father's cold decisions. And she realises her faults.
As for Ray, it's clear she cares for him but it's hard to let go of resentment towards someone who is easily given everything she desperately works hard for (even though he may be less qualified). Ray is a great person but just not her type of person at the start. It's like saying a person with depression has to get along with a happy person who has life usually going great from day 1. They are not on the same wavelength and forcing the relationship might deepen one person's depression. I think MC has to work on herself before she can come to accept a bright person like Ray.
And Ethan too. He seemed to me to genuinely love her. He was a bit twisted but I think all he did was to try to get her attention. I also think he didn't betray her. That was likely just her thoughts

Idc how sus Athan is. He was the one who sent Dorothy back to the past all to try and give her happiness. Even finding the crystal with the spirit of light for her. Theon while seeming like the good, victimized guy brought himself to the situation for his own selfishness. He was the one who proposed to Dorothy just so that he could stay close to Ray, eventually planning to become emperor in the end. He dug his own grave and affected Dorothy in the end just to torture Athan.
