  • Back to the valley after a short break - the final span over the final lake Harefield has been completed.
Parapet fitting has reached Moorhall Road....and Dominique has one foot on dry land so to speak..
HS2 is the UK's newest high speed rail line connecting London with Birmingham and the north of England.
    Thanks for watching!

Still find that viaduct construction mind blowing, precision engineering. And it looks great! Thank you for capturing this moment in history cuemaster

it looks like this section is almost finished. Im a big fan of HS2. I still believe that it should be extended to Leeds.

HS2 to Leeds and Manchester should not stay a dream.

Wow! This is Colne Valley p0rn of the highest quality, QM. The vistas you caused your little thingy to capture are actually quite breathtaking, even on a 17 inch screen. The section early on where you're hovering over Moorhall Road and panning from north to south is my favourite part. At 0:45 we see the viaduct, seemingly, skimming through the treetops before reaching the water of Korda and then the camera turns to show Dom at 1:50, way in the distance, transitioning from the water of Harefield No. 2 onto dry land again. The viaduct itself is a thing of beauty but you have captured the curve perfectly in that minute or so of footage.
Nice work. Keep 'em coming ... 👍

👍Thanks Dave for your kind words.. I’ll take that! The viaduct looks great ..I keep having to remind myself that the haul road will soon to be dismantled and I try to imagine the viaduct naked…if you know what I mean…

I think the haul road might be a permanent feature, serving as an emergency exit access particularly where the viaduct crosses the water.

@@TrevorWilliams-fq8mg Er, no. The haul roads are definitely temporary and won't be there for much longer. The viaduct itself is now the main haul road.

There's the need for a haul road for construction purposes but there might also be a need for a permanent emergency access if a train breaks down or catches fire on the viaduct and the emergency services can't get there because the accident occurs over the water.

Right at the end you just caught a section being moved into Dominique. Any more video of that?

I”ll check.. i put up the drone nearby about half an hour later where I think there’s been some tree planting probably years ago that was done by the project to restore nature loss..I think I caught a bit of Dominique.. Thanks for watching. 👍

We do kinda have high speed here in UK… 125mph lines?? Also HS1. But you’re correct.. Spain’s network is impressive! 👍

Except the bit where the trains are too big for the tunnels. LOL
