I booked XLE Hybrid in mid Oct 2021 too. Still waiting and no updates from dealership. Few weeks back I got to know from a friend that my wait could be much longer than I expected. So I booked XLE Premium (Gas) at another dealership too. Will go for whichever comes first. You got any status updates from your dealership ?
I ordered exactly the same thing on September 15, 2021, took delivery on 12/30/21. No notice or update, just a call that it was here. Mine was made in Kentucky. Hang in there, it will happen.

Looking great in the cardigan man! I have the same one! And btw the rav4 le is my favorite with the black outline around the headlights (makes it look more aggressive) how come the new rav4 upper trims don't have the reflector LED headlights? I actually preferred the reflector leds LOL

@@brittneyharrell3224 Overall I really like it! Has good power and the 8 speed transmission is smooth and feels "sporty". On the ice and snow it is sure footed even with the stock tires. I havent put on winter tires yet and I may not. I live in Sask so the temp recently got down to -30c and the heater is amazing. You can tell the Rav is dated - like analog guages, small touch screen, small physical buttons for the climate control. But i am fine with that. I really enjoy it and I think you will too!

Did they go with a leather wrapped steering wheel with the XLE (without premium pkg) for 2022?
I just received my XLE last week. Yay! I have a question when the Stop and Start is enabled I notice that the icon "A" is shown on the MID with some numbers following it. Ex. A00:02'32". What does this mean?? I haven't seen this is my manual books.
I keep seeing a grey interior in videos but the only color i could get with 2022 Rav 4 XLE was a black interior. Which model has the grey interior as an option?

Are the newer push button electronic ignitions troublesome/fail, compared to key ignition start?. Or are both ignition types the same in components and ignition starting process?. Basically is the push button start ignitions just as reliable as a key start??. Sorry for sounding like an old dinosaur, but appreciate if someone can help me, as I'm looking to purchase 2020/21 Toyota RAV4 or Hyundai Tucson.

All rav4 made in Canada have front shock scratch up and got rust.. got to address this issue at assembly line..

At least in United States anyway, the premium package does not come standard with audio plus it is in fact an option.

Can you please give us an update about the 2022 RAV4 Prime please. There seems to be no information anywhere. Dealership just says it’s going to be longer than expected delay. I have put my reservation in January 2021. It’s been over a year. An approximate eta will help.
To give you some perspective this week we are delivering a RAV4 prime XSE tech package in red which was ordered mid 2020.
To be honest, the Best Trim levels for 2022 I think are: The Limited, XLE Premium, and the Adventure and & TRD offroad. The worst for me is the LE. Since 1, the LE DOES not come with Toyota's Dual zone Climate control, NO push button start unlike the other Trim levels. So, for me When I see 2019-presen gen RAV4's on the road here in the Town of Monroe, MI, I often see LE's, which I think that is because people when they buy a new vehicle don't look at the Trim level and what that Trim level gives you, which is why I think when looking for a new vehicle, people need to read more about the Trim Level, and what the Trim level has to offer.
LE also has no rims, just covers
I bought an XLE premium. The others aren’t available for sale in my country.
The only bad is that does not come with a moonroof. Makes sense to go with the XLE. The extra money is not worth it. Thanks for your honest review.
Moon roofs aren't good in the long run due to leaks anyway.

Is the XLE and above only comes AWD? No more just FWD?
They're FWD 95% of the time, AWD only kicks in if the added traction is needed. These aren't Subarus.

One thing I've noticed between the LE and XLE models is that the rear passenger glass (left and right side) comes with a tint on the XLE, whereas on the LE all the glass is clear. This makes a big difference on long road trips during the height of Summer. I have not seen a 2022 LE so I'm wondering if this is still true.
I just bought LE 2022! I'll receive it in 28 days ! I just have the paper didn't have the chance to see it in person and I'm desperate to see a video or photo but I can't find any ! I have an installed package and accessories including 17" alloy in gloss black with machined face 😍

I will get the hybrid instead. Even the LE hybrid is like fully loaded.
I saw that....but dammit I can't deal with the CVT. I had the CVT in a Corolla I rented and it was the ONLY time I hated driving a Toyota

I United States there is an option, but not in Canada.
Which is odd because that’s exactly what I (American) bought and it’s being made in Ontario.
So stupid they got rid of the fog lights for the XLE standard this year. Just another way they get you reaching in your pockets.... You want fog lights now? OK, pay another $3000 CAD! Oh, you also cannot add them as an accessory from the dealer :-)
Way to suck the utility out of the LE by removing the roof rails. Mid-cycle refreshes are supposed to add content, not remove it. Many of us want simple utility without push button start, power liftgates, power seats, sunroofs, and all the other dross. By removing the roof rails you force us to buy a bunch of carp we don't want. I can get a real key, but I lose the ability to put my Thule on top. Cheap, cheesy, horrible move. Thumbs down! Even a base Crosstrek has roof rails!

Real stupid to elementary fog lights. This should be a must for safety. Yeh add heated steering wheel , they lose their brain
I can pay an extra $3k to get fog lights.......or I can buy a kit for $200 and install it.
I can buy SoftTex-like seat covers from Amazon for like $200-$300. So $500. Add another $500 for installation if you can't do it yourself. That's $1k. Save $2k.

Wow.... another example of a salesman that does not do his homework, and doesn't even know accurate details about the product he sells. Some of the features he claims are 'standard' features of an XLE such as heated steering wheel and seats, as well as the power sunroof, etc..... are actually part of an optional package. At least, in the USA.
