Donny will be the key. He is the only player who is capable of working as an 8 in the system, just like Sabitzer
Possibly better than Sabitzer considering DVB hasn’t played in his best position since his Ajax days
@@lordukiyo6175 Carrick played Donny in a number 10 role in the game against Villarreal too, thats Bruno’s position and VDB’s position is a number 8.
He should be playing instead of Fred and Mctominay.
@@LiMai__ Exactly! Idk why Ole and Carrick think Donny is a 10. He can play that position but his best position is number 8. He’s possession based player who likes to drive the ball forward with short passing and smart movements. He’s not a killer pass player like Bruno.. He’s more of a smart and calculated passer. Hopefully Rangrink gets the best out of him because all DVB needs is a manager who actually understands how to use him.
@@lordukiyo6175 yeah, carrick and the coaching staff played him in the number 10 role to do the same thing ole did to Donny, they will say he didn’t play well, then substitute him off, then never play him. They purposely put him in a position that wasn’t his to try and keep him out of the squad like they did before when ole was manager.
This is mental abuse and it was the worst thing Ole and that disgraceful coaching staff has done to VDB and other great players like Sancho and Bailly. I’m glad they are being replaced and I hope they get removed from the coaching staff.

When there’s a system in place, there’s no doubt that Ronaldo will press. This video shows how to press as a team. This is the system that was implemented for these players and no doubt he will implement this system at United.
Without a system, Ronaldo basically presses like a headless chicken and that’s wasting his energy. That’s why he doesn’t press. People need to understand that.
Same goes for martial, there’s more to pressing. He’s no lazy presser. Like cutting passing lanes. If you know how to do that, then you did the easy bit, now, you need the whole team to press as a unit.
With Rafi, now every player will have a plan.
Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho as the front 3.
Bruno, Fred, Donny as the midfield 3.
and the bench included Cavani, Greenwood, martial, and Scott as the backup.
These players will actually have a PLAN, a system in place. There’s no doubt these guys will be great under Rafi.

I can imagine United under this guy' some players like Rashford and Sancho will be beneficiaries of his fast pressing and counter attacking style' the likes of mc fred will not have a chance here!!!!
Rangnick will probably like Fred and Mctominay. They are both high work rate players and especially Fred can be a very good presser IMO. He just needs to be coached properly. Rangnick also made the point that it’s the job of the manager to coach and educate players. He pointed out that Liverpool’s front 3 weren’t good pressers before they came to Liverpool but Klopp trained them.
Fred will have a chance because of his work rate throughout the game and his ability to press

I think these days there is too much emphasis for teams to adapt to their opponents and be balanced . But picking one style and perfecting it until it becomes a weapon of mass destruction is key

Nomads Seven true there both strikers but Werner can play across the front 3 with his pace... Also there's no reason why liverpool can't play with 2 up top in some games. I can't see it happen because we already got Keita but it would be a great fit in my opinion. :)

TitanKiller I'm sorta teasing, I can't see rb leipzig selling him to us so soon after getting keita..... But you got to admit he would fit perfectly in are system, German to (of course doesn't really matter). Oh and we need another one or two attacking players to come in the summer after selling coutinho and most likely selling Origi. Also the jury is still out on ings and solanke (who I do think will be good for us)..... At the end of the day the best teams don't settle for what they got but keep adding to what they already have and liverpool what too get back to being one of the best teams in the world.... So timo werner would be welcome to join us, that's all I'm saying. ;)
