So Cal kid here, never went to camp, but, I did spend Summers in Minnesota on a lake. I learned more during those Summers than any other point in my life.

We sent 3 boys to Camp Horseshoe for years as campers and all 3 of them stayed on for 2-3 years as counselors. I can safely say it’s their favorite place on the planet.

@@SavageMMA12 it's not a means of being broke. That's more than 10% of the average family annual income. It's nuts for a summer camp for a kid.
Rich kids go to camp that’s the way it’s always been. Unless it’s a ymca type thing. Like that story of the diabetic kid the dad was over seas while the kids at camp….RICH PEOPLE stuff lol
