Black Cat Broom Co. stitch is a lovely memorial. I love your finish for the advent box from Patty. It looks fantastic! Congratulations! I have never done a Teresa Wentzler pattern. This is my first time doing a full coverage. Happy stitching.
Thanks for the update on Olive. She's been in my thoughts every day. Wowzers, I can't imagine the high temperature for the day being a negative number. 🥶 The Van Gogh card is so beautiful! It reminded me how flattering a generous matt can be. Everything is so beautiful, I would want to be monogamous for all of them.
Ah thank you for thinking of Olive. She is doing better. I guess with strokes one never knows how much they will improve. I have a feeling as she improves, she will become more of a handful. We are happy to see her personality in her eyes and face. We feel that is the best sign. We are taking it week by week. It is very cold here, especially with the wind chill. To give you an idea when I go outside I wear a sweater, and 2 jackets. I wear a pair of gloves and a pair of mitts. And if it is bad then 2 pairs of pants. Layers. I am enjoying giving a good visit with my WIPs. It feels almost as monogamous as I can get. Take care.
Hi Sheila! It’s always a treat to see your videos pop up - so much so, I watched it twice 💜 I miss things when I am cross stitching! 😜 You are close to where I am with Steampunk Portal! That confetti is no joke! I am knee deep in it as I watch for the second time. Jimmy makes me smile 😊 I am thinking of dear Olive. I hope she continues to get better, poor little drunkin fawn. Did you end up getting a lot of snow? Black Cat Broom Company is cute!
We did not get a ton of snow. It snowed constantly but the wind was so strong, gust to 90 kph, it mostly blew away. We are do for more, I am very hopeful to finish Jimmy this month. Thanks for watching Geri. I am so glad you enjoyed it both times 😆.
I love that advent stitch so much, it is so pretty. That fabric is perfect. Teresa Wentzler's are no joke. The blended threads can get so tedious. But damn, are they worth it!
Yes. I am finding by working on projects for 2025 stitches, I am really getting more into a groove. I think she will be selling the stitch on her website eventually. It was a fun stitch as an advent, glad I kept up on it. Thanks for watching.
How are you my friend. I’ve been missing you on everyday. Got spoiled when you were doing flossmas. Jimmy is looking awesome. I also like Theresa Winslour. Can’t wait for the next video to see ifyou get Jimmy close to a finish. Until next time, happy stitching 🪡😊☃️
Thank you. It is another snow day today. But first I am working on Brilliant Plummage, Theresa Wentzler. It is really fun trying to touch all my WIPs. I hope you are staying safe, warm, and healthy. I hope your leg is healing up. Take care.
You are so brave Shelia…Teresa Wentzler and HAED Sal in the same week…wow. I don’t find the queen stitch hard, I am just reorganizing the colours for the temps into Sulky and that is the tricky part. Take care. 🦉🧵🪡🌨️⛄️
Queen stitch is definitely not hard. Although I find my right side does not look as pretty as the left. Yes, Theresa Wentzler is a challenge, but I am quite pleased with the progress. I will be happy to put it away after the 2025 stitches are complete. Oooh Sulky would be great on the Temp tracker. Good choice. I look forward to seeing your progress. Take care Karen.
I'd love to finish Language of the Flowers this year, but who knows. You've made so much progress on yours! I feel the same way about TW. I'm behind on videos so I hadn't heard about the stroke. I'm so sorry!!!! I'm glad she's getting better though. I used one strand for backstitching on Jimmy, but I think your two looks better.
You are not that far behind. It happened New Years Day. She is doing better but we are giving her around the clock care. Hand feeding, watering, carried outside for bathrooms, and one of us sleeps with her. It is a lot but worth it. The first month is the risky month, so we are just giving her the best care we can. Hopefully I will get Jimmy done soon. We have lots of snow days coming up. I am so glad you had a good vacation in Hawaii, looked fantastic. Take care.
@@MissusStitches I think I've talked about it before, but there was a point when Taco was hit in the head by another dog and died briefly. He was paralyzed for a couple weeks after. I did exactly what you are doing. Hand feeding, watering, carried outside, slept with him, etc. I had to turn him over every hour or two so I set alarms at night to wake up and move him. It was so much work, but absolutely worth it. Olive is lucky to have you. I'm sending all my love her way (and yours).
When it comes to all the free charts from finishing the HAED sal, you don't have to stitch them all. You can say this or that chart isn't my style and just enjoy the chart cover picture. I've picked up a few freebies where I might eventually do them, but its low priority to think about starting.
Great video love seeing your progress on your wips and hearing about Olive. Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you so much. So far it has been a wonderful weekend. May you have a stitchy wonderful week too.

How are you liking the full coverage. In some ways I find it easier, less forgiving. I hope you are enjoying it.
Happy New year …Great to see you Sheila looking forward to seeing your progress you have some lovely projects x
Ah thank you Rosa. So far I am really enjoying getting some big progress in on my WIPs. It is fun. Hope you are having an okay winter so far.

Jimmy’s looking great! You’ll have him finished in no time with the snowy days that the weather network says is coming!! ❄️
Indeed. It was quite the snowy wonderland last night. I am loving this weather. It feels like our first true Nova Scotia winter.
@ I love it too!

I like attaching felt to the back of hoop finishes using the blanket stitch. There are some really good tutorials.
Ooh I will search that put. Thanks for the tip.
Happy New Year Sheila!
Thank you Barbara. Happy New Year to you too.
