- Lyrics by John Newton; tune 'New Britain'.
Arrangement for two pianos by Stephen Nielson and Ovid Young.
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

Beautiful, keep ‘em coming . So peaceful and soothing. So needed right now.
Thank you, Rose--and thanks for listening!
I miss you, Pam!
@@dorischristensen1715 How nice to hear from you, Doris! I miss you too--
Oh I love this arrangement of a favorite. Thank you.
Thanks for listening! It was a lot of fun to do both piano parts, but somewhat challenging. I have more to work on, as the arrangements are a bit difficult. But it gets me practicing!
Well, you did a great job with the 4 parts. Tricky. And yeah for practicing. You have a great touch of those ivories!!
@@terrineil715 Thanks Terri!
Love how you have both screens up/split...you should get that QRS, recording strip like I have on my piano, so can play with as many hands as you wish!
Thanks for listening!
